A two night stay at the Benson KOA is just what the doctor ordered. The bathrooms and sites were well maintained. There is a train that passes nearby and you can hear it at night, but I just think of that as part of the Wild west experience. This is the best campground to stay in near Apple Annie's. My only complaint is that there are really bright LED lamps near tent sites that are on all night.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying with us! We are so glad you enjoyed the clean sites and bathrooms and loved your Wild West train perspective! We appreciate the feedback on the tent site lighting and hope to see you again next time you visit Apple Annie’s. Cant wait to see you next time!

Huge thanks to Benson, AZ KOA for the warm welcome, comfy stay, and much-needed reset! After miles of desert, Gertrude (my trusty stroller) and I appreciated the friendly faces, hot shower, and solid ground to sleep on. If only every roadside rest stop came with this much hospitality! A nice small KOA, but very clean and quiet. I didn't use them but the laundry and restrooms were spotless! Site was level and clean with a nice new picnic table. The sign coming in says Under New Management, they are doing something right! We would return again if in the area.
