We came to the KOA a day early and stayed at the loft above the office. It was a quaint 2 bedroom suite that could sleep 2 in 1 bedroom and 3 in the second bedroom with a shared bathroom. Fresh paint with coordinating artwork and fully furnished kitchenette. The friendly staff completed the visit. The jacuzzi tub was a plus! Highly recommend!

We stayed here for three nights in our 37ft Class A motorhome with a Jeep tow. There was plenty of room in our space and between spaces. It was a convenient location for our exploration of the National Parks and for some rockhounding locations. It was very clean and the staff were awesome. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This park is very quiet and peaceful. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. There is also a decent sized dog area. The spaces don't have much room between them, so you're practically on top of the picnic table for the next space, but they assigned people so they were spread throughout the park so it wasn't an issue. This was a convenient base for exploring southern Arizona.

Sites were level and rocked. Hard to tell about closeness, as there were not many staying at the time we were there. We had full hookups and everything workded fine. There is only one shower available in the men's room and it is wheelchair accessible. Looks like this campground is undergoing improvements and may have been a bit run down in the not too distant past. We would stay here again.

We were stranded because of truck issues and they went above and beyond to help us out. They were so caring and friendly. The current owners are doing a lot of upgrades and improvements to this quiet, conveniently located park. Perfect central location to explore Tombstone, Bisbee and Tucson area. Our only disappointment was that the pool was being redone, but otherwise it’s a very nice park.

Pictures online do not reflect actual place. Dog park lacking. Needs more shade and benches for owners to use. Perhaps some other items for dogs. The one ramp was splintering and could hurt dogs. The park grounds had thorns, so did not want to walk the grounds as my pups got thorns in their paws. Could not find the Frog Pond that was advertised. Bathrooms were very clean.

Staff was excellent, Helped was with registering over the phone right at office closing, without complaints. Turned their computer back on to accommodated us. Park is well maintained, clean, easy access.

Weather was difficult this stay, very windy and cool, but that wasn't KOA's fault. We had a great time and will definitely be back! I just have a couple suggestions for KOA in general. The beds should be moved from the wall, we need some room to put on linens; and if there is a T.V., please mount it on the wall, a lot of precious space is lost on that one little table. :)

The campground is nice enough to rate 5 stars, but I have never in any KOA been charged for an extra vehicle. The vehicle I was charged for was not towing or carriering anything. It used no electricy or water. I would understand if I had to charge and electric vehicle or if I was hauling a trailer, but I was doing neither. That being said the owners have done a good job on the front of the camp.

Benson KOA is a great campground! Nice level pull through sites. Easy access from I-10. We only stayed one night, but I could see spending a longer stay. Great clean bathrooms & General store. As full time, retired Class A dwellers, we have stayed at quite a few KOAs. Michael checked us in & thanked us for being loyal KOA members! (1st time a KOA 's owner done this) Michael is a great guy!

Incredible experience with 6 other families tent camping for a few nights with young kids. Facilities are immaculate, new pool & spa was by far the favorite for the kids-hours upon hours of fun (some shade for the supervising adults would be a nice addition in the future). Hospitality from the staff was unmatched. Camp Wash station was a nice amenity as well. Kids enjoyed the play ground and lawn games. Took a 45 minute drive to Sonoita for some family friendly vineyards, Karchners Caverns is closer but the tours were booked for the weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & highly recommend you check this KOA out!

WOW!!! My stay was so relaxing and quiet. Lori and the ALL the staff are amazing. All the facilities are clean and tip top shape. Bathrooms and the pool have been remodeled and are amazing . My stay was only to be 1 night but my wife and I stayed for 6 days. I can't say enough about this campground IT IS AMAZING and we will be back again. I would definitely add this KOA to your list!
