The park is nice. The staff is outstanding. Went out of their way to make our stay great. All the hookups are great. Only dinged one star due to the dirt road in, and gavel drive and sites.

My only complaint is there was only one shower in the mens bathroom

Very nice staff. Love having someone escort to our site. The dog park was clean as well as the entire campground. The only thing is the sand burrs. They stick to your shoes and end up in your camper. They also hurt your dogs paws and your own feet when barefoot in your camper. If they can get rid of them I would give an A plus.

We have been RVing across the United States for the past six months, staying at numerous parks, including many KOA locations. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst stay we have experienced during our travels and fell well below the standards we expect from KOA. The campground was so depressing and in fact very ugly. We will never go back to that campground. We stay at KOA's all the time and this campground was the worse.

this is the first koa i have ever stayed at that required pictures of my rv before I could stay. I have a 2021 rv which is what I told them. But they still had to have pictures. Also they claim they don't park the rv's close because there weren't that many coming in and yet everyone was bunched up in the front and back of each other while the other side of park was empty. Michael is very rude!

This is a nice little place tucked away from the road but down some gravel wash board road to get to it. The brand new pool and spa are absolutely terrific! The employees are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

The Benson KOA is what you expect an RV Park to be in the desert southwest. Surrounded by mountains, high elevation plants, beautiful sunsets. The heated pool and hot tub were a plus as well. Shaded as well as unshaded sites were available. A well equipped store for things forgotten. The staff were great and very helpful. There are several day trips to nearby points of interest.

This is a wonderful KOA with a brand new swimming pool. It is very well cared for, far enough off the freeway to avoid the noise but a quick off and on, and was not crowded during our stay in December. Will definitely stay there again.

Our Schedule had us arriving and leaving before the office was open. The Staff was very accommodating, allowing us to rent a fire pit and buy wood over the phone and dropped it off for us. The after hours instructions were clear and very helpful. Our stay as a family of 3 was extremely pleasant and we will stay here again when we come back to southern AZ.

KOA BENSON REVIEW I so much wanted to give this RV park a good review, because it has clean facilities, and is well-located, BUT I can't, for these reasons: the manager's rude and aggressive behavior, and his arbitrary and mercurial behavior. I will not go back and I suggest all single female travelers avoid this park!

Quiet, clean and safe--much more so than the similarly-priced motel we stayed at the night before. All amenities were as promised and very convenient. Friendly, helpful staff let us check in a bit early at no extra charge. We would gladly come back for a longer stay.

We were not greeted well. We pulled 4 feet past the stop sign at the office and a young man said to us “Don’t you know what a stop sign means!?” We had never been there before and it was late and we were not sure where the office door was. The stop sign was at the office. The park is all gravel and there were stickers on the ground which ended up on my dogs pads.

We arrived after hours however the office did call to confirm we would still be staying in Benson. Upon arrival everything the office advised regarding keys were right there. The cabin was nice and warm and we sure appreciated that. Love this location. Bathrooms clean as well as the grounds. This is also a great location from the freeway and easy to get to, no noise. The KOA was nice but the road to get there (about 1500 feet) was one of the worst I have ever encountered, washboard rough.

Great staff! Hot tub was fantastic after a long days drive. Level spots, laundry room and restrooms/showers were we kept and spacious. Close to tombstone. Eat at mi casa restaurant for a wonderful dinner. It is very small restaurant but worth the wait.

Very convenient to highway. Hosts super-nice. Bathrooms new an nice and clean. The biggest problem is ground covered in goatheads, small, very hard and sharp seeds from a weed visible around campsites. Seeds get stuck in dog paws (painful!) and in shoes, so they end up being tracked into camping unit. Had to unhook in pull-through due to poorly located utility hookups.

Beautiful site. Immaculately clean. Very quiet. Pleasant. Wonderful hosts. Loved the pool and hot tubs which were crystal clean. We tented so the nearby heated bathrooms and showers were very nice along with the outdoor sink and propane grill. There’s also a clubhouse with fridge, TV, and games.

So ein schöner Campground mit tollen Hosts.Der Campground liegt inmitten der Natur und ist dementsprechend sehr ruhig. Am besten gefallen hat uns der blitzsaubere Pool, mit Abstand der sauberste KOA Pool, den wir je hatten. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Barvin und Anna sind tolle Hosts und wir kommen gerne wieder!
