It was very nice and comfortable and friendly. We stayed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights and my only recommendation would be for longer store hours on Tuesday and Wednesday because the town is quite far to get anything. It didn’t really affect us though. Just the only thing I would think could be a tiny bit better. Overall fantastic KOA

Very confusing with the deluxe cabin stays. I was given too small a cabin for a family of 5. My friend had 3 people and got the big cabin. We paid the same and we’re told we’d get the same. Disappointed by this. Manager didn’t compensate or offer to change us.

We loved our stay at Willapa Bay KOA! The site was fantastic and people were very welcoming.

LOVED it. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, lots of fun activities offered, fantastic texting communication system in a campground that doesn't just feel like a parking lot. Beautiful, treed spaces, very clean, and a wonderful short forest walk to the beach access. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area again! Particularly appreciated PROMPT attention to after hours noisy neighbors.

My family and I stayed for the 4th of July and had a blast! There were activities for the kids throughout the day and a movie night in the park! The bathrooms and the grounds were very clean. Really loved the staff here as well, very accommodating! Thanks for everything!

Clam digging is always awesome. Fresh clam linguine is an all time best camping dinner here. “Movies under the stars” is a really good campground event. Waffles in the morning was a special treat. Local event “Kite Festival” in Grayland was awesome to see and participate in. What a fun filled stay.

staff was very friendly. Our on site Bar b q ran out of propane and was refilled very quickly. Thank you. We were very disappointed with our site. We have visited many KOAs around the country. The site we were assigned was adjacent to an old container and construction area. Our front view was an old truck and junk on the property next door. Most expensive Koa ever stayed. Won't return

We are sorry that the front view was not nice. Our neighbors are in the process of remodeling. That can be messy from time to time. We are a small campground and do not have many options for our maintenance storage/container and are looking into other options for this.

We had a lovely time! We stayed in a yurt with friends in the next door yurt. The yurts were very clean and beds quite comfy. I wish the dome had some way to cover it. It got very bright in the morning. The BBQ and firepit area were nice. Wish there had been Adirondacks or an ability to rent chairs. The beach was gorgeous, just wish the stairs weren't so steep. All the kid activities were great!

Great experience. Bathrooms were clean & smelled good. Great amenities. Kid activities were awesome. My kids never wanted to leave. Staff were all very helpful, personable, and kind.

Nice, helpful staff. Crowded spaces with big rocks make it difficult to access some of the spaces. If you care about accessibility, get rid of the boulders.

Sorry you were not happy with our campground. We try and provide a good amount of space between sites. The boulders are off the road way and in our grass to prevent guests from driving over our lawns.

Great campground, excellent staff. Spotty internet connection (if you care for it). We had a great time there. Know that the location is quite remote and if you need to get any emergency service on your RV, unless you have road assistance, you won’t get it, as no shops service the area. Special mention to the extra attention we received from Steve and Dennis.

Lots of trees, good security, large site- no cafe- reasonable small store, great staff, clean bathroom- more available washers would be good-nice handicap toilet but not shower. Very clean sites-

They should update their website, some amenities on the website not found in the de luxe cabin (not physically there) need to add more supplies in the cabin and faucet outside the cabin (where we stayed doesn’t have). Workers were nice to help us, though.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The website has been updated. When you booked, we didn't have that cabin installed or details for it. The cabin you recieved had many more things than what the other cabin listed, like a full size fridge, cooktop and larger front porch. There is no outside faucet because your cabin has water inside.

This was our 3rd or 4th time staying here. The staff is always great, the store is well stocked, and it is just a fun place to camp for a few days. Thank you again to all the people who make this place so fun for the whole family.

Loved all the planned events and receiving reminder text messages. The wine/beer tasting was a nice treat for the adults since most events were geared towards the young 'uns. Restrooms were kept as clean as possible and the store had a nice variety of offerings. Hosts were warm and welcoming. It was a hoot digging for clams! Thank you!

We spent a full week in Site #1. Steve and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. Camp store is well stocked with essentials and great beer. Good proximity to ocean beaches in Westport to the north, and Long Beach to the south. Local oysters are amazing! We don't have children, but enjoyed watching and hearing the kiddos having fun.

Absolutely loved! We have decided to make it a family tradition to come every year, hopefully same cabin! Really enjoyed our time there and especially Dennis! He is just the best!

The staff was amazing, and helped us whenever we needed it. The site was quite yet bustling, and there were so many things to do. Great experience and we would definitely recommend it.

Overall we had a good stay. My only complaint is that we wished the gravel parking in out slot was wider since coming and going allowed dirt being tracked into the coach. Just a minor annoyance considering all.

Willapa Bay KOA exceeded our expectations. We were delighted with the amenities and setting. It was clean, well maintained and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Loved the remodeled camp store! The steep steps to the beach were a bit intimidating and definitely not ADA compliant! Better be in good shape to use them!!

I love clamming here and cozy atmosphere with no noise. Staff is kind and helpful. We spent 2nd time this year and want to come back again.

Great quiet place to stay. Lovely trees in the back area. An excellent place to rake for clams just a short walk away. Heads up if you are not able to do almost a ladder style stairs you will not be able to make it down to the sand. I still would place this as a Journey I was surprised at the rate increase and moved to a "Holiday" without any attractions or nearby towns. We will be back though.

We had a great time! My daughter was overjoyed participating in the activities on Saturday� The hosts were very helpful and kind!! This was our first stay and a KOA and it definitely won’t be our last!

Campsite was amazing. Tons of activities for the kids to do. Clean. Staff was super friendly and communicated nonstop w campers of events and any needs that arose. Store was fantastic. DEFINITELY A GREAT PLACE!

Found this KOA on line and it was a delightful discovery. The hosts were absolutely the best - friendly, helpful, and a joy just to talk with. The entire campground was clean and well taken care of. Trees everywhere, firepits, and wildlife to make it all complete. Easy walk to the beach. Wonderful for relaxation. Our plan is to return and hope to bring extended family next time. Thank you.

I felt welcome upon arrival and got a free delicious treat of cheesecake ice cream. Beautiful beach access and my rv site was pretty. :)
