We are snowbirds on our way home. Just stopped there for one night. Conveniently located. Friendly staff. Easy to book online. Beautiful pool and shower facility.

We used park as a base for touring old Southern mansions and visiting relatives. The campground was quiet, and everything was clean. Breakfast, as promised, was excellent.

We've never stayed at a KOA until we planned this 40-day trip through 15 states. We stayed at 6 KOAs during this trip, they were all unique but all very enjoyable and accommodating and we enjoyed every one of them. We definitely will use KOA campgrounds in the future! It was just a 2 night stay. Unfortunately we had torrential rain an entire day (parts of the park flooded) so couldn’t take advantage of amenities. Nice camp store and friendly staff.

Front desk was SO welcoming! We enjoyed putt-putt after a long day of driving. Pool looked great too! Friendly campers and nice fog park too. Loved this place!

Stay here frequently when in the Baton Rouge area. Park has good management and is always clean.

We loved the hospitality at this KOA. The staff were very friendly. The sites were pretty narrow but we lucked out with an end lot that had a tree. The kids loved the mini golf and jump pad. Also, the little train ride they do for the kids on the weekends. The laundry facilities were nice. All hookups worked as expected, no issues.

The people that work here are outstanding. We were in town for Easter weekend for a family reunion. We ran into mechanical trouble in Florida while traveling and cancelled our reservation at the last minute we were given a temporary fix and we're able to continue to Baton Rouge. I called to tey to reinstate my reservation and they were so helpful in finding us a place.

Very pleasant day people there are very nice to talk to knowledgeable. I recommend this campground to anyone Saturday morning when they offer breakfast, it was wonderful.

A repeat stay for us on the way to and from the Florida Keys. Very pleased with every visit to Baton Rouge KOA, Great hospitality. Clean and well kept grounds. Convenient for us.

Excellent, excellent, excellent park!!! Staff are simply wonderful!! Park is beautiful, clean, quaint. There are hiking and biking trails. Also a Frisbee Golf Park next too! Pool is awesome. Restaurants, Sam’s Club are right next door. Dog Park is great! The KOA Team truly makes a difference!! Highly recommend this park!

We came to Baton Rouge for Campmeeting at Family Worship Center. We met with another couple who are lifetime friends. It was awesome. Your KOA is always so very clean and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Our Fourth year to stay ther and will plan on returning several years.

I was given a pull thru site. (Yeah). Unfortunately it wasn't big enough for my class A motor home and toad. (Boo). I was only staying one night so I didn't want to disconnect. Even with the toad disconnected in didn't fit in the site. It had to be parked sideways to the RV. i was only there the one night so didn't use any of the amenities.

Nice KOA. Big difference in sites. Done gave grass some don’t. Paved sites are not level

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm sorry you had trouble leveling up on your site, but the site you were on was checked for level and there is approx. 1-1/2 inch difference in level in 40 feet of the main part of the site. This is certainly acceptable and should not be a problem leveling up.

We stayed for 3 nights in a patio site.. Check in was easy, the site was clean and level and included a shade covering, table chairs and a fireplace. The folks in the office were very friendly and helpful. The campground itself was convenient to Lufkin and all services. We did not use the bathrooms or showers so we can't comment on those. We would stay here again if passing through Lufkin.

This was our very first RV trip as a family, and the Baton Rouge KOA experience made it great! Flowers planted everywhere, lots of cute cutouts for pictures, a splash pool and big pool and large hot tub, mini golf, and a small store - all excellent amenities. While we did not use the laundry facilities, they were conveniently located. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Great location!

The park manager was very very unprofessional and she was not able to talk an adult level. Refused to communicate with any respectful intentions. I was completely comfortable with all the staff and members that worked at the facility. I also stayed 6 weeks in the park and was charged $1806. Seems kinda high. Was there for work and decided to stay in tv park to save money but it cost the same.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This started around not being able to keep your utility trailer on site (against rules you agreed to).If you leave early it converts to the daily rate, which equals 13 days on the site you had. You were on site for 14 days in your second months rent. We tried to explain but you kept yelling at us.

From the moment we pulled in until the day we left, our stay was absolutely wonderful. Y'all truly set the bar for Southern hospitality. It wasn't just the amenities (which were great)—it was the people. While we were busy getting set up, they filled our propane tank for us. Throughout our stay, the staff checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The weather wasn't perfect every day, but even on the rainy day there was plenty for the kids to do. My kids absolutely loved the pool and were in it every chance they got. And I think we played putt-putt every single morning after breakfast. It became part of our daily routine and some of our favorite memories from the trip. I have to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Penny. She is basically the Louisiana version of Dolly Parton—sweet, welcoming, full of personality, and the kind of person who makes you feel like you've known her forever. What stood out most wasn't any one thing—it was the way everyone genuinely seemed to care that we were having a good time. That's something you don't find everywhere these days. Thank y'all for your kindness, your hospitality, and for making our family feel so at home. We left with great memories, happy kids, and already talking about when we can come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at this KOA. We're already planning on staying here longer on our return trip home. It was very clean, well-maintained, tons of fun amenities, and the staff was very nice.
