We LOVED this KOA! The people were very nice and friendly and worked with us the entire weekend! We were down for a baseball tournament and they completely understood and helped us stay later on Sunday! Will definitely be back in the future!

We booked our first stay as a midway stop for our trip from Texas to Florida. Our original plan for the trip back home was to drive nonstop; however, due to the awesome people and hospitality at the Baton Rouge KOA, we booked a spot for our return trip home.

I always make it a point to stay here. It is the most kid-friendly campground I have been to. I show up and turn the kids loose while I set things up. For them it is like one last bonus vacation day.

The Baton Rouge KOA was extremely clean and well run. The management was very welcoming. We felt very safe and enjoyed our stay there.

The hosts were very sweet and friendly. The laundry room was clean and a good price. We enjoyed the pool. The camp is close to the downtown Antiques district, which was fun. The nights were quiet in the camp. We would definitely stay again.

Always a wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff, free mini golf, pool, and tons of activities around the camp. Great breakfast on the weekends, too! Can't wait to return!

What a great, comfortable stay. We stop often overnight and always find staff fabulous, campground just right! They're updating a lot of the sites with new pads. So much for kids too.

Cleanest and nicest KOA we've ever stayed in (we've stayed in many KOA's) and the staff were super friendly! Thank you for keeping the pool and spa open longer for us (we didn't arrive until 7:30 PM).

We were only there one night but wish it had been longer. Our site was spacious with a nice picnic table area. The swimming pool and game room looked wonderful. We played a round of putt putt that was fun. They had had a lot of rain so the course needs a little clean up but still a fun place to stay.

Generally a good camp. Nearby decent food. Well kept grounds. Was camped near the pool, workers are too loud in the morning hanging out near garages jack-jawing. Bathrooms tidy but not the cleanest. Will not be back.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm so sorry you felt our staff talking at the nearby service building was too early or too loud, but we do not even start anything at that building until at least 9:00am for this reason. If there was an issue I certainly would have liked you to bring it to our attention so it could be addressed.

The caretakers and owners couldn’t have been any nicer! Spot was level and easy setup- Wi-Fi was iffy but as soon as the office was notified- they had someone fixing it! We enjoyed the spa and pool!

Excellent location off the highway, all pull thru level sites, very clean and many nice amenities We were greeted by Pam who was so nice & welcoming us. Communications during our stay were great with te t invites to breakfast and other events

We loved this KOA Park. Me and my husband played putt putt and got in the pool. Everyone was so friendly and they had the best bathrooms and showers of all the KOA‘s. We’ve stayed at. We would definitely stay at this KOA again.

From the moment we pulled in until the day we left, our stay was absolutely wonderful. Y'all truly set the bar for Southern hospitality. It wasn't just the amenities (which were great)—it was the people. While we were busy getting set up, they filled our propane tank for us. Throughout our stay, the staff checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The weather wasn't perfect every day, but even on the rainy day there was plenty for the kids to do. My kids absolutely loved the pool and were in it every chance they got. And I think we played putt-putt every single morning after breakfast. It became part of our daily routine and some of our favorite memories from the trip. I have to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Penny. She is basically the Louisiana version of Dolly Parton—sweet, welcoming, full of personality, and the kind of person who makes you feel like you've known her forever. What stood out most wasn't any one thing—it was the way everyone genuinely seemed to care that we were having a good time. That's something you don't find everywhere these days. Thank y'all for your kindness, your hospitality, and for making our family feel so at home. We left with great memories, happy kids, and already talking about when we can come back.
