The owners and the caretakers are the warmest friendliest people! I would stay again just because of the staff. The cabin we rented was absolutely adorable, perfect for all of our needs. I stayed with my four daughters and we had the best time in spite of the rain. Everything was so clean-and they had lots of fun activities for the kids. We will definitely be back. Penny is the best!!!

Always a wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff, free mini golf, pool, and tons of activities around the camp. Great breakfast on the weekends, too! Can't wait to return!

We always enjoy our stay. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. The only thing that would make our stay better, is if the fridge in our lodge had a small freezer section. Other than that, the lodge is perfect for us.

We stayed in the Pelican for the weekend. We planned a birthday party for my son's 8th birthday. Unfortunately, it rained all weekend and we had to cancel the party. The staff was so amazing! Penny made a HB sign, they gave him a gift and paint art with coloring pages. He was sad about the canceled party but the staff and owners made the weekend special. Absolutely will go back!

This was a spur of the moment stay as we were trying to split a long drive up. We were able to reserve a cabin the day we needed it, and arrived after/departed before office hours. This process was seamless. We didn’t interact with any staff, but the grounds and facilities were immaculate. We will definitely be looking to stay here if our future travels take us through Baton Rouge.

it was great! a very peaceful place to stay and relax. staff was very attentive and even came out late to get us checked into our cabin when our key wouldnt unlock the door upon arrival.

Very nice quiet park with extremely friendly and helpful staff. I needed to get the radiator replaced in my motorhome and the staff was extremely accommodating with scheduling and the rental of one of the lodges while the motorhome was being worked on. I will definitely stay here again if I come back through Baton Rouge.

I was dark and quiet! NEW mattress was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, spoke with office staff and they said they would look into AFTER I left. Several issues with “keyless” card working for restroom.

Stayed in the cabin for one night. It was perfect for our needs. We felt safe and enjoyed not having to hear kids running around the place making noise. If we ever come back through the area, we’ll definitely consider staying here again. The staff is top notch. This was our first time staying at a KOA. Look forward to staying at another.

We have generally enjoyed out stays at various KOA kampgrounds, in particular this one, where we have stayed in the small log cabin 3 or 4 times. This time was not as pleasant. There was only one working toilet in the men's room, but the big problem was that the heater in our cabin failed before our second night. No one answered the after-hours phone, and the temperature in the room was 35!

This was a wonderful camp ground. We have stayed at several locations and this is one of the best. The cabin was spacious, even for a Kamping Cabin. It was close to the restroom and the kitchen. We would have liked access to the microwave after hours, but it wasn't a huge deal. The pool and hot tub were nice. We loved the putt-putt golf. Our daughter thought it was the most fun beating us at golf!

We really enjoyed staying in the Deluxe Cabin at the Baton Rouge KOA. It was our first time in one. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean. Also the hosts were very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We were traveling and only stayed one night in a cabin. The cabin was beautiful. The only thing we didn’t like was the mattress on the bed. Everything else was really good. Everyone at check-in was friendly and helpful.

Friendly, clean, and perfect for what we needed. Only issue, all three of us slipped every time we got in the shower. Left bruises on our body. You may want to consider slip resistant tub stickers or changing chemicals because someone will get hurt. Even my son ended up showering in the outhouse from slipping in the shower too many times. Otherwise, we can’t wait to stay there again!

From the moment we pulled in until the day we left, our stay was absolutely wonderful. Y'all truly set the bar for Southern hospitality. It wasn't just the amenities (which were great)—it was the people. While we were busy getting set up, they filled our propane tank for us. Throughout our stay, the staff checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The weather wasn't perfect every day, but even on the rainy day there was plenty for the kids to do. My kids absolutely loved the pool and were in it every chance they got. And I think we played putt-putt every single morning after breakfast. It became part of our daily routine and some of our favorite memories from the trip. I have to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Penny. She is basically the Louisiana version of Dolly Parton—sweet, welcoming, full of personality, and the kind of person who makes you feel like you've known her forever. What stood out most wasn't any one thing—it was the way everyone genuinely seemed to care that we were having a good time. That's something you don't find everywhere these days. Thank y'all for your kindness, your hospitality, and for making our family feel so at home. We left with great memories, happy kids, and already talking about when we can come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at this KOA. We're already planning on staying here longer on our return trip home. It was very clean, well-maintained, tons of fun amenities, and the staff was very nice.
