This is an extremely well managed, beautiful RV park! Our stay was our second during our vacation. We returned because we were so impressed with our first stay. This stay was equal. Again, we will be back!

We always enjoy our stay. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. The only thing that would make our stay better, is if the fridge in our lodge had a small freezer section. Other than that, the lodge is perfect for us.

Friendly and helpful staff- they were able to move our reservation when we had mechanical issues and were delayed. Campground clean and well maintained.

Everyone was nice and helpful. The breakfast on Sat. And Sun. Are nice and the food is good. My site (2) was level and was easy in and out. Would stay there again.

We had been delayed a day due to a brake failure. We arrived just before 8 pm a day late. Nor only did they honor our reservations, they waited for us to arrive and treated us with smiling faces. Thank you Pam for being so kind and for making us feel so welcome. It was so appreciated and we will definstely be back, you give KOA its good name.

We stayed in the Pelican for the weekend. We planned a birthday party for my son's 8th birthday. Unfortunately, it rained all weekend and we had to cancel the party. The staff was so amazing! Penny made a HB sign, they gave him a gift and paint art with coloring pages. He was sad about the canceled party but the staff and owners made the weekend special. Absolutely will go back!

The only positive thing I can say about this KOA is that the staff are extremely friendly. Unfortunately, the RV site concrete pads are in serious need of repair. Many have large cracks, uneven surfaces, and sunken areas that create safety and usability concerns. The neglected condition of the sites takes away from the overall camping experience.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm sorry your stay was less than favorable, but the site you were on was not cracked up other than a small expansion crack. The only other site in need of repair anywhere near you is closed and not used until replacement. We try very hard to keep up with the ever changing ground conditions.

KOA Baton Rouge is a beautiful campground. The amenities are very nice . In addition, we were having some issues with our truck. All of the staff, especially Neal and the owners, were very supportive and helpful in helping us find the repair parts. They went above and beyond to help us. Highly recommend!

I wasn’t there for a recreational stay, my daughter is in a hospital close by. But the staff there is very friendly, the park itself is always very very clean, the laundry facility that I used frequently was always pristine and my hours were off sometimes so the access part always made me feel safe. A big thank you to the staff, they were always checking with me to see how my daughter was doing

Always plan our trip home from Texas to stop in Baton Rogue / Demingham Springs , La. Easy to get to from interstate. Staff is excellent and helpful. Park is very well kept. Look forward to the Sunday morning breakfast served by the owners. Convenient to very good restaurants if you want to eat out. It just an excellent place to stay.

This is our first time staying here, but it won't be our last. Very clean campground. Stayed in number 4 and very close to the hot tub and pool. Very pleased with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and just the whole area. Highly recommend staying here. Travel trailer pads were level.

We liked the long level concrete pull through site. Breakfast at the activity center on Saturday and Sunday was a delicious surprise!

This was a spur of the moment stay as we were trying to split a long drive up. We were able to reserve a cabin the day we needed it, and arrived after/departed before office hours. This process was seamless. We didn’t interact with any staff, but the grounds and facilities were immaculate. We will definitely be looking to stay here if our future travels take us through Baton Rouge.

Nice park! They offered breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.. not only is the breakfast delicious, (get the pancake) it’s at a good price… We enjoyed visiting with Glenn and Stephanie.

The people were extremely friendly, the sites were clean - including the dog park! the pool looked very nice but didn't go in....and the breakfast they have on Saturdays and Sundays is delicious! Thank you!

Nothing special it was convenient. Cats sprayed out out door artificial plants. And they had to be washed.

From the moment we pulled in until the day we left, our stay was absolutely wonderful. Y'all truly set the bar for Southern hospitality. It wasn't just the amenities (which were great)—it was the people. While we were busy getting set up, they filled our propane tank for us. Throughout our stay, the staff checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The weather wasn't perfect every day, but even on the rainy day there was plenty for the kids to do. My kids absolutely loved the pool and were in it every chance they got. And I think we played putt-putt every single morning after breakfast. It became part of our daily routine and some of our favorite memories from the trip. I have to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Penny. She is basically the Louisiana version of Dolly Parton—sweet, welcoming, full of personality, and the kind of person who makes you feel like you've known her forever. What stood out most wasn't any one thing—it was the way everyone genuinely seemed to care that we were having a good time. That's something you don't find everywhere these days. Thank y'all for your kindness, your hospitality, and for making our family feel so at home. We left with great memories, happy kids, and already talking about when we can come back.
