I was given a pull thru site. (Yeah). Unfortunately it wasn't big enough for my class A motor home and toad. (Boo). I was only staying one night so I didn't want to disconnect. Even with the toad disconnected in didn't fit in the site. It had to be parked sideways to the RV. i was only there the one night so didn't use any of the amenities.

The Baton Rouge KOA (East side), was the best KOA we've stayed at on our x-country trip! Store, mini golf, great bathrooms/ showers. Staff are SO helpful and kind. Wish all KOAs were at this high level.

Nice KOA. Big difference in sites. Done gave grass some don’t. Paved sites are not level

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm sorry you had trouble leveling up on your site, but the site you were on was checked for level and there is approx. 1-1/2 inch difference in level in 40 feet of the main part of the site. This is certainly acceptable and should not be a problem leveling up.

We stayed for 3 nights in a patio site.. Check in was easy, the site was clean and level and included a shade covering, table chairs and a fireplace. The folks in the office were very friendly and helpful. The campground itself was convenient to Lufkin and all services. We did not use the bathrooms or showers so we can't comment on those. We would stay here again if passing through Lufkin.

This was our very first RV trip as a family, and the Baton Rouge KOA experience made it great! Flowers planted everywhere, lots of cute cutouts for pictures, a splash pool and big pool and large hot tub, mini golf, and a small store - all excellent amenities. While we did not use the laundry facilities, they were conveniently located. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Great location!

We arrived unannounced, but they took care of us. Our site needed some concrete pan work but otherwise everything was good.

Staff were friendly, helpful and always available. Grounds were well maintained and facilities clean. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area

The park manager was very very unprofessional and she was not able to talk an adult level. Refused to communicate with any respectful intentions. I was completely comfortable with all the staff and members that worked at the facility. I also stayed 6 weeks in the park and was charged $1806. Seems kinda high. Was there for work and decided to stay in tv park to save money but it cost the same.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This started around not being able to keep your utility trailer on site (against rules you agreed to).If you leave early it converts to the daily rate, which equals 13 days on the site you had. You were on site for 14 days in your second months rent. We tried to explain but you kept yelling at us.

everyone was so kind. Even with the mix up with the spot. breakfast was great. I loved the pool. the mornings were great. lolNo one at pool. Thanks for keeping such an tidy KOA. Staff is amazing!!!!

Staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Kabin, restrooms, and showers were very clean with plenty of hot water for the shower. Covered picnic table area with outlets and concrete parking pad were also pluses. Nice to have in the Kabins would be mini fridge, microwave, and additional outlets. My stay was short, but looked like lots of fun activity options on the grounds.

What a nice campground. Beautiful pool, facilities and things to do. Great 18 hole mini golf, for free! That was my favorite. Restaurants and stores walking distance. We will be back.

Stayed in site 45. We have been in that site before and it is not a good place to stay in if campground is full. Had to park in quest parking. It is too crowded and allows no parking. Have a 35 fifth wheel with 22 foot long bed truck. Payed for patio site and do not consider it a patio site. If that is only site left we will find another alternative. Love the campground but not the site.

Entire sttaff was friendly and professional. Our site was quiet, with a lovely shade tree (which we asked for). The park is a convienient place to stay along the I-10 near Baton Rouge, LA. We Loved the dog park. Large spacious and well kept, with dog agility stations stategically space throughout.

Nice park but nothing to write home about. Large park with lots of amenities. But also broken concrete pad with no shade from trees. Staff was friendly and helpful.

From the moment we pulled in until the day we left, our stay was absolutely wonderful. Y'all truly set the bar for Southern hospitality. It wasn't just the amenities (which were great)—it was the people. While we were busy getting set up, they filled our propane tank for us. Throughout our stay, the staff checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The weather wasn't perfect every day, but even on the rainy day there was plenty for the kids to do. My kids absolutely loved the pool and were in it every chance they got. And I think we played putt-putt every single morning after breakfast. It became part of our daily routine and some of our favorite memories from the trip. I have to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Penny. She is basically the Louisiana version of Dolly Parton—sweet, welcoming, full of personality, and the kind of person who makes you feel like you've known her forever. What stood out most wasn't any one thing—it was the way everyone genuinely seemed to care that we were having a good time. That's something you don't find everywhere these days. Thank y'all for your kindness, your hospitality, and for making our family feel so at home. We left with great memories, happy kids, and already talking about when we can come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at this KOA. We're already planning on staying here longer on our return trip home. It was very clean, well-maintained, tons of fun amenities, and the staff was very nice.
