Awesome campground. Well kept and maintained. Laundry facilities are clean as well and maintained. The only draw back for us is that the sites are quite close together but it wasn't a deal breaker. We would most certainly stay there again if in the area.

Friendly, clean, and perfect for what we needed. Only issue, all three of us slipped every time we got in the shower. Left bruises on our body. You may want to consider slip resistant tub stickers or changing chemicals because someone will get hurt. Even my son ended up showering in the outhouse from slipping in the shower too many times. Otherwise, we can’t wait to stay there again!

The campground was extremely clean. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub and was pleased the children were not allowed in the hot tub area. Everyone was very friendly, even when I called at 7:30 am the week before to change my reservation!

We had such a wonderful time! From check-in with Fran to Pinney stopping to talk to us and asking how our stay was, it could not have been better! This KOA is so clean and beautiful. We will definitely plan to stay there again �

Visiting our son and family in Baton Rouge. This is our 5th or 6th time staying there. Since we usually stay for a week, it would be nice to get a weekly rate.

This was my first KOA experience. It was great staying there. All the staff was helpful and friendly. Roy was awesome too. Always answered questions and would help whenever needed. If he sees you out will stop and ask if you need anything or help. Will be back

Very friendly staff. Needs to have all the uneven surfaces leveled and filled in to get rid of the standing water that you have to drive and walk through to get around.

We got a reservation ahead of time because we're so road weary from driving through Houston. Never been to any of the KOA's in the area. We were pleasantly surprised. It is an older park but it's a nicely kept. The people there were wonderful and they gave us a spot that was very quiet. Easy on and off on the road. We will come back again.

Told us that it had beach access which was 2 miles away hardly had any shade. Was told if we reserved our site our friends would be able to camp beside us . Kind of the only way to camp is with friends.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but I'm not sure you are even talking about our campground. we are inland at Baton Rouge so we are not on the coast. This means we do not have any beaches near us nor beach access. We do certainly hope you find the beaches you are searching for.

The pool and hot tub were awesome! The staff were super friendly. There were so many things to do. The only thing we would change is to have a campfire by our cabin.

The location was fantastic with easy access from the interstate, but far enough off the road to give you and "in the country" feel. The staff was fantastic and the friendliest people you could ever meet. The proximity to a city park for walking/biking trails was also a plus. We have stayed at a lot of KOA's over the years but this is one of the nicest ones we have ever stayed at.

From the moment we pulled in until the day we left, our stay was absolutely wonderful. Y'all truly set the bar for Southern hospitality. It wasn't just the amenities (which were great)—it was the people. While we were busy getting set up, they filled our propane tank for us. Throughout our stay, the staff checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The weather wasn't perfect every day, but even on the rainy day there was plenty for the kids to do. My kids absolutely loved the pool and were in it every chance they got. And I think we played putt-putt every single morning after breakfast. It became part of our daily routine and some of our favorite memories from the trip. I have to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Penny. She is basically the Louisiana version of Dolly Parton—sweet, welcoming, full of personality, and the kind of person who makes you feel like you've known her forever. What stood out most wasn't any one thing—it was the way everyone genuinely seemed to care that we were having a good time. That's something you don't find everywhere these days. Thank y'all for your kindness, your hospitality, and for making our family feel so at home. We left with great memories, happy kids, and already talking about when we can come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at this KOA. We're already planning on staying here longer on our return trip home. It was very clean, well-maintained, tons of fun amenities, and the staff was very nice.
