The campground is nice and well maintained. What makes is Great is Penny and Roy!! They are very giving of their time, knowledge and gifts to their campers! From recommendations for dinner to sweet treats, Penny and Roy treat you like family! We felt so welcomed here because of them! Thank you so much!

nice KOA. The shower water pressure was fantastic. Although, it would have been nice to have the toilet and sink area within the same room as the showers!

Staff was awesome. Olivia checked us in, and was warm, polite, and a true steward of the KOA brand. Facility was top notch - especially the restrooms. no complaints at all.

My husband was so extremely touched to receive a Veteran’s appreciation gift when visiting the store.. so much so that I shared his awesome experience on my RV Lifestyle Facebook group page. Our experience with everyone was excellent at check in, at the store and at the great breakfast at their cafe. We have already made reservations to stay in one of the cabins on an upcoming car road trip!

It was wonderful. Very quiet and peaceful. Wonderful, helpful staff. Excellent amenities. The perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of Baton Rouge. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a problem when trying to leave the water would not turn off so called the after hours number the park host Pam and Roy came to the rescue he had the part needed to stop the water flow this campground is the best very friendly staff grounds are always neat and clean we stayed here several times highly recommend it

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Gave us a site near the doggy park as we requested. The doggy park was a good size with nice soft grass.

The park staff is WONDERFUL! They keep you informed via texts on what's happening in the park. The park itself is great. Sites are level and pull thru areas are easy.

People weren't that friendly, camping is or was all about like mindness,used to be anyway but state parks are still very friendly and helpful

Beautiful KOA. Loved the patio. Large concrete patio and pull thru. Had a large table and chairs, swing, and large fire pit. Pool was clean with ample seating plus kiddie pool and hot tub. Mini golf was great.

This is simply an awesome Park!! Penny and her husband welcomed us at check-in. Both are so passionate about their jobs and the park!! Love their enthusiasm! The sites are large and roomy. Extremely clean park. Close to numerous restaurants. Huge Bark Park! This was our second stay here. Would highly recommend! !

Roy and Penny were very welcoming! The campground is top notch. Loved the dog park and the swimming area. Lots of amenities. It is a great location. Plan to return again. Campgrounds are well kept. There is also a café that had a wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend. 10 Stars "plus"!

Friendly staff. Grounds are maintained and it appears upgrades are being done. Concrete pads are long and pretty level. Some are new, some are cracked up but they have replaced some. Power is good. WiFi and cable work. Good water pressure. Dog park is big and well maintained. Sat/Sun they sell a cooked to order breakfast that’s really good.

Very close to our jobsite, with great food and a Bass Pro Shop, it was perfect. Several site improvements are underway, and new concrete is going in, so it will only get better.

From the moment we pulled in until the day we left, our stay was absolutely wonderful. Y'all truly set the bar for Southern hospitality. It wasn't just the amenities (which were great)—it was the people. While we were busy getting set up, they filled our propane tank for us. Throughout our stay, the staff checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The weather wasn't perfect every day, but even on the rainy day there was plenty for the kids to do. My kids absolutely loved the pool and were in it every chance they got. And I think we played putt-putt every single morning after breakfast. It became part of our daily routine and some of our favorite memories from the trip. I have to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Penny. She is basically the Louisiana version of Dolly Parton—sweet, welcoming, full of personality, and the kind of person who makes you feel like you've known her forever. What stood out most wasn't any one thing—it was the way everyone genuinely seemed to care that we were having a good time. That's something you don't find everywhere these days. Thank y'all for your kindness, your hospitality, and for making our family feel so at home. We left with great memories, happy kids, and already talking about when we can come back.
