The campsites were poorly maintained. Picnic tables were broken and rotten, and multiple small tree stumps which were a trip hazard were on the site . The bathhouse and public areas need to be updated .

Very friendly and helpful staff and owners. Loved the conversations we had and the personal recommendations for site seeing in the area. Beautiful quiet campground. More like the old fashioned camping. Love the size (width and depth) of the campsites how they are not close together. LOVE ALL THE TREES. not only for the shade but for the nature. Easy access to local towns.

We choose KOA and expect better than this place. The bathrooms were a dump. 1st morning only 1 shower in women’s back bathroom worked. Water sprayed in small shoots in front pool bathhouse. Showers are dirty cement, old rusty handles/sprayers/pipes. In the Back bathroom the door touches the toilet- hard to even fit! Play area by volleyball and jump pad full of weeds and unkempt. Kids enjoy goat

We stayed for 5 nights in a new full hookup patio site and the site was great. This was the first week of the season and some things needed cleaned up in the campground. Large potholes on gravel drives needed to be filled.

It was a preseason stay so the amenities were not available. However the campground was nice, with plenty of full hookups for large class A RVs.

Stayed 2 nights. Never saw a KOA employee, cable was like watching snow, site 2 spots away from us had 2 dogs that were over a 100 lbs each chained to a tree, the pot holes in the road were as bad as I’ve seen, nothing was open ( store,restrooms,office, etc.) the place was not well maintained at all stayed at a lot of campgrounds but this was as bad as I’ve seen. We are full time RVers

Great service from Robert(nice mohawk!) couldn't get the cable to work but the antenna worked fine Clean park Wonderful bird watching with Eagles and Sandhill Cranes to name two

Unfortunately our lot had numerous piles of dog poop on it. I realize it is still your winter season, however, someone could have check the site before our arrival. It was noisy at night, the quiet time not observed. This campground also hosts several long-stay and permanent units. Lot size, electric, water, and sewer hook-up were very convenient and maintained.

I camped in January. They had a cement pad and full hookups avaiable. The owner was very helpful.

In winter they do not have showers, bathrooms or laundry available. They gave us a paper that said so when we arrived. The website says nothing about this. The store does not have the supplies they advertise.

would like to have seen more of tje camp staff but in the three days i was there i saw no one after checking in also it would mot heart to have one toilet /shower bolck open in the winter .other than that i thought the park was nice place to stay on my trevals �

This KOA suited our needs very well. The staff was very responsive (even with winter months), and we enjoyed all of our neighbors. Thank you for meeting all our needs and we look forward to staying with you again.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was shut down for the winter, but we did have water and sewer. The place looks great and we'll definitely visit again in the spring!

We stayed 4 nights the 3rd weekend in October. The sites are large and wooded. And even though the weather was mostly chilly and rainy the fall colors were beautiful! Campfires felt great! Our 6 year old grand daughter loved the playground, halloween decorations and especially the bounce pad which was open Sunday, our one dry day! Thanks for having a nice facility. We’ll likely be back again!

Friendly people. Campers and employees. The owner even stopped by to chat. Neat campground, clean bathrooms. The only downfall was the rain made our wood wet���but with a little perseverance we got it to burn.

Everyone was nice. However campground does not rate a holiday status. It is not well maintained and there is stuff everywhere. If this is the direction the holidays are going we may reconsider staying at any other ones that we have not already tried

Great campground. People are so nice. I wish you had a recycling program. At least for bottles and cans. I know Michigan has the bottle deposit fee, and many people turn them in, however we are from Illinois and cannot turn them in.

The campground was beautiful with the autumn trees. I was tent camping and the sites we spacious and well shaded. Safety was never a concern! The restroom/ shower house was very clean! The owner offered great suggestions of things to do in the area. Thanks for all the information and a fantastic stay!

We love this campground. The sites are big (one of our main reasons for coming back each year). The kiddos love to ride their bikes and the slow speed limit is enforced. The glow ride is always a favorite with Mohawk guy! My kiddos always look forward to seeing him. Halloween time was great with all the fun costumes and decorated sites. It was a great way to start the fall season. :)

We have stayed at many KOA's over the summer and Allendale has been our favorite thus far. The staff, environment, activities, local recommendations and experience keep us coming back for more. Highly recommend!

It's odd that Google asks me to offer a room ranking. I opted not to rate the room since it was my own RV. The folks running the campground, store, activities, and maintenance are nice and informative. The tall pines were a perfect setting for our campsite. The site was clean and had a solid picnic table. There is so much to do here for wee ones through adults including a bounce pad, swimming pool, fishing, horseshoes, basketball, playgrounds, paintball, tractor rides, staff-led activities and more! The campground was absolutely silent come 10:00 pm and it was 2/3rds full! The daily trash p/u was a bonus, plus firewood delivery! We witnessed the very experienced owner talking a driver through parking his rig. The owner was so patient and kind!! We would stay again, however, please upgrade the bathroom facilities!! They are an electrical hazard! When the hand dryer comes on the lights dim. The restrooms are so worn down. Investing in them would go a long way. I'm low-vision and the dim lighting was so difficult to maneuver for a shower and none of the bathroom stall doors locked (which typically isn't a problem but there were little ones who were looking for their adult). It's not a game changer, but they really need attention.

Great campground all around! Everything was clean and well taken care of. The gentlemen at the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the goats! We will definitely be back again!

Absolutely love this campground. Mohawk makes it so much fun for the kids. Very clean bathrooms and very fun atmosphere. Would definetly recommend.
