We had a wonderful stay at KOA Allendale. We’ve gone before with friends but this was our first family trip, and it was a great success! We had two deluxe cabins next to one another and both were immaculate and well stocked. Staff were friendly and the kids had an amazing time! We will be booking for next year and making this an annual tradition! Thank you so much to Mohawk and the staff!!

we were disappointed when we decided to stay in a cabin for the member weekend that the cabins were not included in a free day weekend.....the mattresses in the cabin were terrible....felt like we were sleeping on box springs. The walkway to the restrooms across a bridge were not lit up at all. It was nice to see the pool still open since the weather was warm enough to swim. Staff was friendly.

We stayed in a cabin that had extremely uncomfortable mattresses. Location is perfect, close to Lake Michigan and surrounding areas. The delivery of firewood was nice and the bathrooms were regularly cleaned.

Great place to take our kids for a short camping trip. Loved the amenities and activities the KOA had. Also this KOA is strategically placed between Grand Rapids and Grand Haven, both of which also offer great activities for both kids and adults regardless of the weather. Hope to be back soon.

The location was perfect for visiting the area, very centrally located. Unfortunately our cabin wasn’t cleaned and there was so much dirt and debris we asked for it to be cleaned however there were several employees who snapped at us when asking for help or services. They did not want their personal schedule disrupted by customers or guests. We did it ourselves.

Stayed in premium cabin and it was very nice and clean. Well stocked with everything you would need. Nice outdoor table and fire pit. Fun activities for all.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was GREAT! Came fully stocked everything but food so needless to say we over packed! Cabin was roomy and very clean! The staff was great! Very friendly and helpful, we arrived too early and instead of making a big stink all they did was switch cabins for us so we could get in and go. I only rated what I rated cause there wasn't much going on for the kiddos....

We rented a deluxe cabin for the weekend. The cabin was super nice and so clean. The staff was so nice and helpful. The pool was great. The other campers were very friendly. We really enjoyed our weekend and look forward to coming back.

I was disappointed that the cabin we were assigned was the furthest from bathroom when the closest was vacant all weekend. The grass had not been mowed through out the campground. The bathrooms were very clean and kept that way. The staff was very friendly. Overall I probably won't go back, not much to see around area.

Everyone who works here is fantastic. If we have questions they have answers and if we need anything they are happy to help. Firewood was always brought quickly after we ordered it. We have stayed here a few times and we will be back! They also made sure we were near our friends during our stay.

We rented a deluxe cabin and it was very cute! We enjoyed the cabin a lot and the staff was great. The campground itself appears to need some work. Goats were a nice touch.

These guys go the extra mile to make sure kids are entertained. So many fun little activities for kids to do (The Glow Ride on Friday and Saturday nights is fantastic) and all the bathrooms are clean and well ventilated! Very quiet, but yet a great location being less then 30 mins to both Lake Michigan and Grand Rapids. We're looking to purchase an RV in Spring and will be back here next summer!

Two comments. First of all the pool steps were slippery and my friend fell and hurt herself. Something needs to be done about the steps. Secondly it would be nice if you recycled. Other than that the cabin that we stayed in was wonderful and we had a great stay. Your staff was also very friendly and helpful

Had a wonderful 5 night stay in July 2022. Our deluxe cabin was perfect for our family of 4, maybe our favorite layout in one of those yet. Everyone was friendly and there were many activities to keep us busy around camp on the days or afternoons we weren't going anywhere else. We had a large site and since we were there during the week, not many neighbors. We would def stay again if in the area!

The 2 cabins we rented appeared new & were clean. Friendly office staff. A/C worked well. Thrilled to see bedrooms & especially the bathrooms were slightly larger than other KOA's we've rented, allowing an adult to bathe a child. The fire rings had large, defined areas filled with stones in which to sit. Only drawbacks were that there was no gas grill & no oven although stated full kitchen.

Fun little campground. They have two playgrounds on both ends of the campground. We definitely loved the pool in June. The tractor load of firewood is definitely worth it if you're spending more than just the weekend.

We stayed at this campground twice this month. We stayed the night of 11/28 and the staff was so kind to have our site clear of snow. Thank you so much. Easy late arrival check in. We recommend and would stay again.
