Our cabin was nice and clean, with running water and air conditioning. The staff: kind, friendly, and helpful. Our kids couldn’t wait to feed the goats everyday—that was honestly their favorite part. Most of the RV/tent sites were large and shady. The cell/internet service was spotty, but that is not necessarily a priority when you’re trying to spend time outdoors.

Great stay as always. Thanks for the new mattress I n cabin 66. We will definitely come again next year. The kids that were out on Sat or Sun night until midnight making noise were NOT from our group. Also, what is that large clay drain sticking up in campsite 100? Maybe putting a screen or some such on the opening would prevent an accident. The wagon ride is great. Again, thanks for a nice stay.

Our campsite was the only one in the campground that didn't have the leaves raked up ( the other two cabins were all cleaned up). We reported a couple of burned out bulbs shortly after we got there and also reported that that the circuit breaker for the heat kept tripping off and we never had any heat except for the heater in the bedroom worked.... and nobody showed up to fix either problem.

My brother in law and sister in law flew out for a visit from Oregon. They were extremely impressed with the accommodations. They loved the campground being so quiet and serene. As always the staff welcomed them with smiles. Trust me when I say you won’t go wrong with the Allendale KOA.

We appreciated KOA being pet friendly and allowing a dog in the cabin. We were thankful for the AC unit. We wish the ceiling fan had a cord to use the fan without the light. We loved the activities and the friendly person at the desk. The only thing we didn’t like was the spot to park the car was too close to the fire pit.

The cabin we stayed in was nice and mostly clean (FLAT pillows). The campground itself has a lot of potential but generally looks neglected. Weeds are overgrown everywhere. Listed amenities did not exist such as tetherball and volleyball. Water Wars was littered with water balloon debris and had nasty green water in it.No WiFi. Not up to KOA standards, especially a Holiday one. Can’t recommend.

I have camped here with my family several times now over the years, and I have always found it to be a pleasant stay. The pool was clean and the bathrooms get cleaned a couple of times a day. The Mohawk and staff are always helpful and friendly. Plenty of things for kids to do. I can recommend this campground.

We really love staying here. The staff is always friendly and helpful, they remember us year after year and great us with a smile. Mohawk Man is the greatest and love the Glow Ride on the weekend! My only suggestion would be to replace the old fire pits with the kind that the state parks have. They sit higher, more stable and easier to cook on!

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The delivery of wood was great, and supplies in the office/store were nice for items that were forgotten. The cabin mattress was terrible! The grounds were ok, except for the pool needed cleaning, debris and algae in it. The jumping pad had a lot of algae on top as well. The activity area the structures needed more maintaining. This is a rustic camp.

What a weekend to remember! We joined our four adult kids along with 5 grands and had such a great time! The grounds are well-kept and intentionally inviting to all ages. The youngest ones loved the animals, mining for rocks/arrowheads, the water balloon tossing area, large pillow to run on, the paintball area, the playgrounds and the pool too. We all enjoyed the Saturday night wagon ride!

The ponds were green with algae. No fishing! The cabin was filthy. The blinds has not been cleaned in a long time. Very dusty. The dish drainer was dirty. The bathroom had two foot long hair on floor and in tub. I had to wipe out refrigerator before it could be used. The carpets were filthy. Behind the bathroom door there was a washcloth hanging on shower curtain with pubic hair on it. Gross

Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Love your gardens, Clide your tortoise, & your goats. Pool consistently too cool for comfort. A/C in cabin was a plus, nicely designed cabin. With a bathroom would have been even better but were all full. Super clean restrooms! People seemed to honor the quiet times. Cutely written "rules" of the campground, a nice, lighthearted touch for serious needs

Really enjoyed the campground. The cabins were very clean, the mattresses were comfortable, and the A/C was an excellent touch. Everything was very affordable and the kids had a great time. The only couple things I would change is the “junk/extra” area be closed off and for the bounce pad and water wars area to be cleaned.

We stayed in one of the rustic cabins and that was really nice. The only thing that we didn't like was that our fire pit was buried in the ground. This poses a little bit of a concern with little kids potentially tripping or not paying attention and falling into the fire pit. Another suggestion, maybe putting some chairs by the jump pad for parents to sit in while the kids jump.

We had a family reunion. The RV spots and delux cabin were together. It made a great place for us to gather. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to repeat it next year.

The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, and we love Mohawk. We saw his Eifel tower in Grand haven Choclate shop. The only downside was the smoke alarm battery dying at 3:30 am, but that wasn't anyone's fault.

This was our second visit to this KOA and we had another great experience. Love all the trees, we got our same cabin again (which I was DELIGHTED by), plenty to keep us all busy and happy for a week (or longer, our 1st stay was longer), all employees we came into contact with were helpful & friendly. Just a great KOA experience.

Entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Deluxe cabin was well equipped for all my needs and my cabin was near all family and friends in party I was with for the planned event I was attending. Every detail was well thought and planned with great consideration for accommodating a large group of people attending a special event over a period of days. The staff at the KOA was AMAZING! Thank you!

If you want to come to a koa that has deep holes all over their driveway, and is in need of a renovation then this is your place. The staff was rude and keeps chewing everyone out for driving 8 mph when their speed limit is 4.93. The store is run down so bad even the front door does not latch! I go to many Koas and love them, but this one is in unbelievably bad condition. Do not stop here!

The deluxe cabin was perfect for our family weekend event at GVSU with other family members camped right next to the cabin. We enjoyed our campfire with our college students and others. The cabin was so well appointed that we had everything we needed.

The cabin we stayed in did not have a functioning air conditioner and the screens in the windows were dented around the frame in such a way that it let large bugs in if we opened our window. So sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. Host and staff were great and super friendly. Bathrooms were nice and kept very clean. Would stay again but would bring a fan just in case!

Found this slice of paradise by happen stance. Upon arrival, staff was very knowledgeable & friendly. I highly recommend a stay here. Rustic , primitive, luxury rustic or bring your rv. Tell Bob we say hello & enjoy. Can't wait to return. Yes, pet friendly.

Public Bathrooms, showers cleaned often. Staff friendly. The cabin we stayed in was clean. If you have older kids the recreation area is dated and could use some TLC. Sand Volleyball court and basketball court growing weeds almost to my calves and not very inviting. Water area is dated. No internet, even though it says it has….makes it hard on a rainy day or if you try to work remotely.

This is our first visit to a KOA and my husband and I just loved it! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We walked around the grounds and they were very well maintained. We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin and it was very clean, comfortable and fully stocked. The park was not overly crowded and peaceful. Wi-fi is spotty, but most parks are. We enjoyed our stay and KOA's are in our future!

We really enjoyed our stay - management/staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly, and our cabin A/C was a huge plus! I wish there was more shade on our cabin site, and our in-cabin TV had limited channel options (Disney and kids channels did not work). We also wished there was some lighting on the footbridge to the bathrooms for any nighttime needs.

Great campground all around! Everything was clean and well taken care of. The gentlemen at the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the goats! We will definitely be back again!

Absolutely love this campground. Mohawk makes it so much fun for the kids. Very clean bathrooms and very fun atmosphere. Would definetly recommend.

Great place to visit. Cell reception is horrible and we couldn't get the Internet to work but who really needs that when camping anyway. Tons of stuff for the kids to do
