Children activities were a hit with the kids. Deep sites in tall pines. WiFi - usless Cable was useless at our 3 sites Don't plan on remote working here. Restrooms - newish fixtures, rest is original. Shower water covers the building floors. Restroom cleaning needs attention, at least on Sat, Sun. Big letdown from previous KOA experiences. Won't be coming back here.

As always, we had a great time at the KOA in Allendale. Staff is great, efficient and friendly. Park is clean.

Great stay as always. Thanks for the new mattress I n cabin 66. We will definitely come again next year. The kids that were out on Sat or Sun night until midnight making noise were NOT from our group. Also, what is that large clay drain sticking up in campsite 100? Maybe putting a screen or some such on the opening would prevent an accident. The wagon ride is great. Again, thanks for a nice stay.

Disappointed there was no WiFi or cable. Otherwise fairly rural, safe location. A little loud with kids and such.

Great tent spot! Back bathroom could use some work. Didn’t feel like the staff was very friendly. No happy camper wave backs.

The sites were large, however, the hookups are in a weird spot on the site so we couldn’t utilize most of the space. For the price, the amenities could use some updating. Everything was clean but dated. The sites could have been maintained better for the price, had to take out a stump on our site so no one tripped over it and they need to spray to help prevent nats/mosquitoes.

We arrived at 4:35 pm and were told that the office was closed for 1 1/2 hours for a dinner break. We were instructed to find a package with our name on and find our own way to the camp site. Not the most pleasant start to our week here. The site was tight but OK. My biggest complaint was the tube to connect my grey and black water hoses was 15 inches above ground level. Very hard to empty tanks.

Why is your office closed when most people arrive. Understand watching speed but 4.93 is totally impossible. Not having phone access is ridiculous. Most have Hot Spots to help with internet access but with no phone unacceptable. If an emergency what do you do, no one around anyway. Why are bathrooms pad locked down when might be needed. We won’t be back. Rudeness was unfavorable.

Nice campground but advertised free wifi that didn't work. Couldn't even get cell phone service. Staff was friendly except the blode lady with glasses that checked us in last Friday. She was alitttle snarky and sounded like she had an attitude but made jokes to seem like it was meant to be funny. Pool area was nice and clean. Lots were pretty decent. Won't be back to this location.

We enjoyed our stay, the campground was clean and well looked over, the people were friendly and helpful. We had a full hookup site and the only issue we had was apparently it's not in a Verizon area because our cell reception was poor, and not able to get access any kind of connectivity, the campgrounds WIFI did not work nor did their cable connection.

The campsite itself was concrete easy to back into and plenty of space, well taken care of campground and staff was very accommodating. As it is just my wife and I with no little children to enjoy the amenities that the park offer the price point was a little high.

We booked for a month and stayed for several days at a time to fish from the port of Grand Haven. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Our site is excellent. We have been staying here for over 30 years and look forward to returning later this summer. The only negative is dust from vehicle and golf cart travel. Looking forward to our return.

Absolutely love this campground. Mohawk makes it so much fun for the kids. Always clean and kept up. Would definetly recommend.

We had a delightful stay over several weeks. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. While we didn’t partake of all the amenities offered, what we enjoyed most were the clean campsites, daily trash pick-up and information provided about the general area. We loved the woodland surroundings and nights were quiet even on busy weekends. We also enjoyed the fairy garden at our site!

We had a great time. Nice campground with a great and shady site. Staff was friendly and fun. Highlight for us was the wagon ride around.

We were extremely pleased with the location, the grounds and the staff! The owner is wonderful. PLEASE DON'T LET IT BECOME A TYPICAL KOA! It has personality, charm and the quiet surroundings are perfect! Loved the goats and tortoise! We will definitely be back!

Water pressure was low, but usable. The cable and internet didn't work. Usually not a big deal, but with it raining two days it would have been nice to have.

Our camping experience was perfect. Except for Sunday night. There were at least 20 people next-door to our campsite. The party never stopped until 11:30 p m. Then started again on Monday morning at 7 AM for breakfast. Need to put a limit on bike speed and kids need to be on there site at 10pm. The number to call to report should not be on the bathroom doors only, especially after dark.

We are concerned about the use of motorized bicycles and scooters. The children driving these are not paying attention to the speed limits of the park. We realize you are not responsible for these children but we don't think the camp is as safe as it used to be for all the other campers.

Our campsite was the only one in the campground that didn't have the leaves raked up ( the other two cabins were all cleaned up). We reported a couple of burned out bulbs shortly after we got there and also reported that that the circuit breaker for the heat kept tripping off and we never had any heat except for the heater in the bedroom worked.... and nobody showed up to fix either problem.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the campsite well maintained and spacious. The campground is a beautiful park-like setting. The Wi-Fi was out during our stay. The showers are in need of updating. The laundry is very nice, but needs a few chairs.

Great pricing and amazing staff! Always there when needed and the park was spacious and beautiful and clean! Rob is amazing and the entire staff go above and beyond! We will definitely be returning. No disappointments here!

We were in town for a wedding. We thought the Campground was beautiful. So many trees!! Beautiful firepit. Best firewood we have had at a Campground. The staff was extremely friendly. We will definitely go again.

A lovely, wooded campground. However, with a lot of empty sites with amenities we had requested we were placed in a site 10’ from another camper with our picnic table on their sewer connection. Also, was very disappointed to learn that, despite listing to the contrary, the laundry and bath houses would not be open for another week after our stay.

Need to put some money into your hookups, my water supply was right down on the ground rather than on a vertical pipe. Also WiFi & cell phone reception is terrible.

The internet was horrible. There wasn't a good connection anywhere in the campground. Our fire pit did not have a ring. Other than that, the hook-ups were great. Check-out was noon and garbage was picked up all the way to noon everyday.

Great campground all around! Everything was clean and well taken care of. The gentlemen at the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the goats! We will definitely be back again!

Great place to visit. Cell reception is horrible and we couldn't get the Internet to work but who really needs that when camping anyway. Tons of stuff for the kids to do
