It was nice, all shady spots plenty to do there, the grand kids liked the paintball guns. Plus we had the coast guard 100 year celebration so there was a lot to do.

The KOA in Allendale is amazing, Mohawk is awesome host and we look forward to coming back again. A+++++++

Had a great time staying here! The facilities are pretty old but everything was very clean. I really appreciated that the bathrooms were cleaned multiple times daily! The employees were very friendly and helpful and even delivered the wood bundles straight to our fire pit! Thanks for the nice vacation!

Awesome campground! Staff is so friendly and the owner makes the wagon rides a blast for the kids. We’ve stayed here twice and will again in the future!

THIS CAMPGROUND NEEDS ALOT OF TLC. JUST PULLING INTO THE CAMPGROUND IS AN EYE SORE OF WEEDS AND A SMELLY GOAT AREA. BATHROOMS NEED TO BE UPDATED AND CLEANED REGULARLY. DEAD TREES ALL OVER AROUND CAMPSITES NEED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF. WE LOST POWER ONE MORNING AND THERE WAS ZERO COMMUNICATION OF THE SITUATION TO CAMPERS. A TEXT TO US WOULD HAVE BEEN APPRECIATED TO LET US KNOW A RESTORATION TIME.

The stay was great. It's a very well kept, quiet campground. The only downside is not having ice in the camp store.

The campground is a typical 80's campground. Could use some general maintenance as far as cleaning deck, roof, gutters of office building. If they want it to look like a 80's campground they achieved it. For a KOA I believe it was a little below standards. Some how my reservation became two and I was given a site without a pad. Would have been nice to ask if I wanted one. Tight site for awing.

Very nice campground with lots of shade and deep sites. We were lucky to get assigned one of the few lots with a concrete pad. Made it very nice to level the motorhome.

4th time staying and the 1st three were great. Own a 35ft Class A and they put me in site #58 which had huge branches that a large MH can't avoid. Went back and asked for a different site. The employee was pleasant but said a much more expensive site was available or he offered a refund which is absurd on a weekend when all campgrounds are full. Very disappointed with the whole situation.

This is my boys' favorite KOA. I have recommend it to friends and will be back again. The boys even asked if we can make it a tradition and come every year! The owner is fantastic and such a character that they were talking about him even after we left. Fishing, water balloons, paintball, swimming.. what's not to love.

We took our grandchildren, and had a great time! The kids loved all the different activities. The water/dump station at our site was nice, but could have been better as they were on opposite sides of the site. We also felt that the night time wagon ride was nice but we thought the music could have been more age appropriate for kids. The kids also didn't like how loud it was.

I paid for a full hookup with cable when I was all set up noticed that there was no cable to the sight both sites on either side had it talked to office and ask to just take some off my bill. They said they would talk to owner but they don’t usually do that and never herd back from them.

We really enjoyed our stay. Would be nicer if you had activities for older kids. The hay ride was the highlight for our little ones. Thank you for a extremely clean park.

Neighbor with 5th wheel came home at 10pm and turned on outside light while we were having a fire we had to ask him to turn it off. They then proceeded to play very loud music with a lot of bass at 12:15 am and would not turn it off. I started my generator to drown it out so we could sleep. Park does not have ice and too far of a walk to empty garbage. Dumpsters overflowing and smell.

WiFi not working. Appreciate sites adjacent to the other two RVs we were traveling with. Water pressure low at times.

It's odd that Google asks me to offer a room ranking. I opted not to rate the room since it was my own RV. The folks running the campground, store, activities, and maintenance are nice and informative. The tall pines were a perfect setting for our campsite. The site was clean and had a solid picnic table. There is so much to do here for wee ones through adults including a bounce pad, swimming pool, fishing, horseshoes, basketball, playgrounds, paintball, tractor rides, staff-led activities and more! The campground was absolutely silent come 10:00 pm and it was 2/3rds full! The daily trash p/u was a bonus, plus firewood delivery! We witnessed the very experienced owner talking a driver through parking his rig. The owner was so patient and kind!! We would stay again, however, please upgrade the bathroom facilities!! They are an electrical hazard! When the hand dryer comes on the lights dim. The restrooms are so worn down. Investing in them would go a long way. I'm low-vision and the dim lighting was so difficult to maneuver for a shower and none of the bathroom stall doors locked (which typically isn't a problem but there were little ones who were looking for their adult). It's not a game changer, but they really need attention.

Great campground all around! Everything was clean and well taken care of. The gentlemen at the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the goats! We will definitely be back again!

Absolutely love this campground. Mohawk makes it so much fun for the kids. Very clean bathrooms and very fun atmosphere. Would definetly recommend.
