Very nice camp grounds we stayed in one of the cabins it had everything that you needed very nice fire pits and plenty things for the Grandkids to do and how can not like the Mohawk

We were thoroughly disappointed with the KOA in Allendale. It first started with the fact that their website says they have a paintball gallery, however, nowhere on the website does it say that you have to use THEIR guns. It ALSO does not say that you have to buy and use THEIR paintballs. We brought our own and were yelled at by the staff for using our own. That’s just one of many complaints.

Bathrooms by the pool need to be updated and at the very least clean the build up on the shower heads they are basically not usable. (Just need to soak with vinegar) and the in ground fire pit looks nice but very dangerous for kids would be better above ground. And it’s hard for them to do marshmallows because it was too hot for them to get the marshmallow close enough.

The Deluxe cabin was great. Our party had four sites and our great grandkids enjoyed all the activities and had a great time. We plan to return again this year.

Cabin was very nice. Campgrounds were nice & clean. Wish there would have been a few more activities for older kids to do. Enjoyed our time at campgrounds.

Very disappointed. Rented a mini cabin. Found food and a swim suit between the mattress and wall when putting my sheets on. Food taken from a cooler. Even though the bathroom is "cleaned " multiple times a day, I walked in as soon as it was opened and the floor was covered in mud, soap and garbage in the shower, dirt on the toilet. I wanted to attach photos, but don't see a spot.

Deluxe cabin was very clean and perfectly set up for a weekend of family fun! Especially liked the cement around the fire pit and the heavy duty outdoor dining set.

I feel like there was a TON of poison ivy around, so I felt like I had to be super vigilant, even on the little pathway between the pool and the playground. The glow ride was really fun! We liked all the activities! Wish there was a little more shade available around the pool. Staff was all very friendly!

Wonderful stay, great staff and lots of fun for the family. Love the trees feels like nature, unlike a lot of KOAs that I have stayed at.

On the day of my arrival, I turned onto the road leading to the campground. I did pass the sign that read, "Speed Limit 4.97". I was slowing down to the stop sign before the office. Mohawk guy, the new owner, waved me down and berated me for not slowing down quickly enough. I apologized. He continued to berate me. That is not the kind of welcome I expect as a paying guest. I will not be back.

Wooded area looked lovely, but ticks fell from the trees. We couldn’t sit by the fire without someone finding a tick crawling on them. So many biting flies, bug spray did little to help. The cabin bed was painfully hard and loud. No ice for sale, and camp store fridge was pretty bare. WiFi nonexistent at cabin, and only 1 cell bar. Trash pickup at noon rather than in the evening was inconvenient

Nice staff, clean bathrooms and cabin. Campground I felt kind of run down. Big trash pile of old picnic tables next to us. The jump pad and basketball courts were in a weedy area. Pool was nice though.

I have stayed at lots of campgrounds in different states, but this one has very rude staff. The adult male who refers to himself as MOHAWK prowls the campsite yelling at guests. I understand safety and policies, but the way he spoke to us and others was unnecessary.

We had a lovely time in the group tent site. My only request would be to turn down the glow wagon ride music earlier. We had small children asleep by nine and although they did not wake up, the music gave their parents some angst that they would. It was a lovely time though.

I loved all the trees and wild areas. The downfall of KOA is their decision to make every campground a parking lot. Thus KOA is not like that, it's full of trees, ponds, wild areas and amazing owners.

Tammy was rude to our camping group on multiple occurrences when we had concerns about our lots with small children and when getting an extra parking pass. If two vehicles are allowed on a lot then two parking passes should come with each lot check in. Being told we had to pay $3 a day for guests when we already are paying thousands as a group is just a way to get more money.

Always an amazing time! My 4 & 7 year olds were squealing with excitement when we pulled in saying “yay! This place again!” They absolutely LOVE the glow ride and the blow up bounce mat! Extra special experience for my 7 year old as well because Mohawk (who my 4 year old calls Hee-Hawk) displayed her art work on the office wall! Thank you for the amazing memories!

We have stayed at this location before and this year from the moment we got there we felt as if we were an inconvenience being there. From the worker behind the desk to people picking up the trash. Very bad experience. My cabin had blood splatter on the wall next to the bed. The air conditioner wouldn’t go lower than 70. Over bad experience.

The cabin needs a light by the couch and the water system was weird. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay in the delux cabin.

We had a wonderful stay at KOA Allendale. We’ve gone before with friends but this was our first family trip, and it was a great success! We had two deluxe cabins next to one another and both were immaculate and well stocked. Staff were friendly and the kids had an amazing time! We will be booking for next year and making this an annual tradition! Thank you so much to Mohawk and the staff!!

we were disappointed when we decided to stay in a cabin for the member weekend that the cabins were not included in a free day weekend.....the mattresses in the cabin were terrible....felt like we were sleeping on box springs. The walkway to the restrooms across a bridge were not lit up at all. It was nice to see the pool still open since the weather was warm enough to swim. Staff was friendly.

We stayed in a cabin that had extremely uncomfortable mattresses. Location is perfect, close to Lake Michigan and surrounding areas. The delivery of firewood was nice and the bathrooms were regularly cleaned.

Great place to take our kids for a short camping trip. Loved the amenities and activities the KOA had. Also this KOA is strategically placed between Grand Rapids and Grand Haven, both of which also offer great activities for both kids and adults regardless of the weather. Hope to be back soon.

The location was perfect for visiting the area, very centrally located. Unfortunately our cabin wasn’t cleaned and there was so much dirt and debris we asked for it to be cleaned however there were several employees who snapped at us when asking for help or services. They did not want their personal schedule disrupted by customers or guests. We did it ourselves.

Great campground all around! Everything was clean and well taken care of. The gentlemen at the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the goats! We will definitely be back again!

Absolutely love this campground. Mohawk makes it so much fun for the kids. Very clean bathrooms and very fun atmosphere. Would definetly recommend.

Great place to visit. Cell reception is horrible and we couldn't get the Internet to work but who really needs that when camping anyway. Tons of stuff for the kids to do
