It was the BEST time EVER! We booked another weekend in October for their Halloween Weekend! The Campground Owners were super friendly & very, very helpful!

It's a great campground with lots of fun activities! Our site location however was in direct sun for the majority of our time and the bees were horrible. Otherwise great weekend, my kids had great time! They're favorite part was the wagon rides with Mohawk!

Giving it a 2 for shaded tent sites & clean bath houses.. Mohawk and tdawg were very nice- encountered an older woman several times who claimed to be an owner that was absolutely rude as could be. The sites were smashed together I felt like I was camping with the people next to me. I felt like I was at the motel 6 of campgrounds..

Although we loved the wooded tree area, we felt that the campground itself looked very rundown. There were too many residential sites that were uncapped. Also, the bathrooms in the shower rooms needed to be cleaned more often. We did find the staff to be very friendly, and love the way they treated children. Also, I did not like the fact that my picnic table lined up with my neighbors sewer hose.

Great place to take our kids for a short camping trip. Loved the amenities and activities the KOA had. Also this KOA is strategically placed between Grand Rapids and Grand Haven, both of which also offer great activities for both kids and adults regardless of the weather. Hope to be back soon.

Camp amenities were great! Our Granddaughters loved the Jump Pad and Water Wars. Only downside was having the Owner always checking that we were doing everything right and criticizing everything we did. The campground was designed to be fun and we weren’t doing anything wrong, just not doing it her way.

Holes not filled by bathroom, trip injury hazard, they did not accomidate us for a blind child close to bathrooms. Policed the speed and wrist bands more then maintaining the camp ground or campers needs, office out of ice for 2 days. Tiles in pool missing. Mesquitos were bad...booked 6 months in advance, why are you choosing our site for us when we arrive? Never heard of that. Wont come back.

What a wonderful stay!! The staff is amazing! We had site 104 and we loved the trees and shade! We have stayed mostly at state parks because we love nature, trees, grass. This KOA was just amazing!! Love that you still feel like you're in a relaxing forest. We will be back!!!

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the area and the campground. The only complaint with our site (59) is that the hookups for site 57, were literally on our site. To use the table on the slab and under our awning, we had to step over their hookups to get around. We would choose a different site if we return.

We had a great time! Kids loved the pool, playground, jumping pillow and glow rides! All staff was pleasant and welcoming.

We had a blast with our kids here this past weekend. The glow rides they do at night are awesome and interactive! We loved our stay and will most likely be back!

The location was perfect for visiting the area, very centrally located. Unfortunately our cabin wasn’t cleaned and there was so much dirt and debris we asked for it to be cleaned however there were several employees who snapped at us when asking for help or services. They did not want their personal schedule disrupted by customers or guests. We did it ourselves.

The sites are very level and there is a little privacy provided by the trees. The sites have plenty of room for parking.

Wagon ride with Mohawk was fun, staff all friendly, clean campsite. Reasonable priced items in store, only suggestion is to improve wifi, maybe some more random throughout the day events for kids like Mohawk coloring shirts or something like that

The staff were not friendly, you were not allowed more than 2 cars on your lot, even though it was a huge lot. We had visitors which could not park in the visitor parking because it was full (there’s only 6 spots total) so they parked on our lot and we’re not even near being on the road. Yet the guy yelled at us from the tractor to move the car, could have came up to us and not yell

Stayed here on an overnight. We wanted to stay a second night but campground was booked full next night (good for them). Well kept, quiet, easy check in. Neat location nestled among the pines. Our particular site was very long and spacious. I had read some find getting (and staying level) in the sandy soil can be tricky. We found this to be true. Very fun campground! We booked this last minute and really enjoyed it. The owner was very nice and super entertaining on the tractor rides which our kids loved! Paintball, water balloons, huge jump pad and mining there was plenty of stuff to do!

we had a good stay during the week days. on Thursday night though the campground filled up around us. thought that there could have been more room between campsites. felt kind of cramped.

It was a great experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mohawk is great, stopped by to drop off firewood. Took the time to visit with us, then moved on to the other sites and visited with them. Mohawk treated everyone like family. Definitely coming back.

We loved our site, the staff & the activities. My three year old loved the jump pad, feeding the goats, sifting for crystals & fossils, & of course the pool. There were also activities that looked fun for older kids that we will try in the future. Plenty to do for whole family! This was our first experience with a KOA campground and we are hooked for life. Can't wait to go back to Allendale KOA!

It's odd that Google asks me to offer a room ranking. I opted not to rate the room since it was my own RV. The folks running the campground, store, activities, and maintenance are nice and informative. The tall pines were a perfect setting for our campsite. The site was clean and had a solid picnic table. There is so much to do here for wee ones through adults including a bounce pad, swimming pool, fishing, horseshoes, basketball, playgrounds, paintball, tractor rides, staff-led activities and more! The campground was absolutely silent come 10:00 pm and it was 2/3rds full! The daily trash p/u was a bonus, plus firewood delivery! We witnessed the very experienced owner talking a driver through parking his rig. The owner was so patient and kind!! We would stay again, however, please upgrade the bathroom facilities!! They are an electrical hazard! When the hand dryer comes on the lights dim. The restrooms are so worn down. Investing in them would go a long way. I'm low-vision and the dim lighting was so difficult to maneuver for a shower and none of the bathroom stall doors locked (which typically isn't a problem but there were little ones who were looking for their adult). It's not a game changer, but they really need attention.

Great campground all around! Everything was clean and well taken care of. The gentlemen at the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the goats! We will definitely be back again!

Absolutely love this campground. Mohawk makes it so much fun for the kids. Very clean bathrooms and very fun atmosphere. Would definetly recommend.
