Large limbs & debris covered our pad. Sewage hook up point > 12’ behind pad, tree limbs blocking us from backing up further -had to move in order to dump. Said we were speeding for the 2 days though no one mentioned this when we came to the office. Was never called back when trying to resolve our dump issues. Sorry our speedometer isn’t calibrated for the 4.93 mph speed signs!

The bath house was not open. This was disappointing. We had guest and really could have use it. We were not told upon booking that the bath houses would be closed.

Far from KOA standards. Tha lady host was very negative. We know it was the first day of opening. Not sure the employee had any training. Missing marking posts, cats running around, did not take to assigned parking spot. Not even close to what we have experienced at other KOA over the past.

Was sad to receive a call from the GM the morning of our arrival informing us that restrooms/bathhouse & laundry were not open until May 15. We were sightseeing & unprepared to scramble for alternative. Surprised no discount given for so many unavailable services. May 15 date not prominent on website.

Stay was good but payed good money for a patio site and it was all full of grass.

We camped in late April. Nothing was clean or kept up. Bathrooms were not open. Host was rude the ONE time we saw them drive around the whole weekend. Campground was NOT kept up well over the winter. Not sure how this campground qualifies as a KOA

We stayed mid April with our camper so the bathrooms and store were closed which we weren’t prepared for. Luckily we had a bathroom in our camper. We were able to buy firewood at a nearby gas station. We really liked the walking trails at the campground and the sites were all well maintained. We are looking forward to staying there again during the summer.

We were there during "off season" so NOTHING was open, not even the camp store. Looks like a nice place after everything opens.

This was a GREAT stay. While there our newly adopted fur babe escaped her leash & ran away. Owners went above & beyond to help us & also posted on the Allendale Facebook page which led to many people helping. A special thanks to Dawn who was able to rescue & keep Fiona safe until we could come get her. KOA owners who made us feel like family. We are grateful & would definitely stay again!

We were in transit to Cheboygan at the end of Fall and waiting for the weather to clear at the tip of the mitt. Was glad to find that Allendale KOA was open in the winter when everyone else was closed. We are snow birds who usually don’t come back until mid May but we had to come back early this year.

We were there Nov 5th 2025 through the 10th. We were in a full hoop-up with a concrete pad and patio. Very nice park! Just out of town enough to be quiet, yet close enough to get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time. I can see this being busy in the summer months with all the kids activities. Will definately return if in that area.

Needs better internet. I planned to work from my campsite, but I was unable to because of the extremely slow internet speed.

Can't really rate we stayed there off season everything was shutdown. Our toilet plugged and we had to do into town to get stuff to unplug it in the mean time oldest daughter was on her period and they would even allow her to us the bathroom at the office. I probably won't be going back

Great, family-friendly place! The owner is an absolute hoot, catching our attention as the driver of the tractor rides around the campground because he was truly jamming to the variety of dance, rock, and pop music that was blasting from the speakers. He visited us at the group site twice, joining us for a beverage and some laughs, and listened to the minor concerns we brought up. Very welcoming!

Site was fine, roads needed to be graded to get rid of pot holes and the shower houses were not available for use. Something that would’ve been nice to know when booking at regular pricing. Other than that the campground was decent and I would most likely use if back in the area, just understand all facilities may not be available late in the camping season…

Late season stay for us. The hook ups worked as expected. The grounds are kept clean. I was surprised by the number of year rounders and the tarps used for shelter and trailer covering.

Very nice and quiet. Many things for kids to do. I like the back in sites, they’re Quite protective from the elements. Also cable TV has many channels.

We stayed for two nights. The park was quiet and everyone was friendly. The only suggestion would be to please try to keep up with the falling leaves on the lots. It was hard to see tree roots and there were tripping hazards for my husband.

We came for Halloween weekend (we come often but this was our first Halloween weekend) and my littles had so much fun trick or treating and they loved the hay rides!! We had a blast and can’t wait for our next trip out!

My brother in law and sister in law flew out for a visit from Oregon. They were extremely impressed with the accommodations. They loved the campground being so quiet and serene. As always the staff welcomed them with smiles. Trust me when I say you won’t go wrong with the Allendale KOA.

Very peaceful. The sites are huge. You back into them and you are enveloped in the forest. Awesome place. We’ll definitely come back.

I was only there for 1 night but with a teardrop they put me right by the comfort station, which was convenient. Hand dryer was finicky but overall the bathrooms and shower were clean. Only about 25 minutes to Van Andell arena.

We liked the site we had and the convenience of the hook-ups. The trees and the falling leaves were a beautiful setting. The showers were not good. It was obvious that the bathroom had been cleaned, but the fact that the floors in the shower were sunken in was very annoying!!! There was only a small soap tray to put your shower stuff. The floor got flooded with water from the shower.

Great campground all around! Everything was clean and well taken care of. The gentlemen at the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the goats! We will definitely be back again!

Absolutely love this campground. Mohawk makes it so much fun for the kids. Very clean bathrooms and very fun atmosphere. Would definetly recommend.

Great place to visit. Cell reception is horrible and we couldn't get the Internet to work but who really needs that when camping anyway. Tons of stuff for the kids to do
