We love staying here! Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. The sites are large and shady. They are also very level. This campground is very quiet as well. It is very well maintained and very clean! It has a lot for kids to do. "Mohawk" makes it fun for them! We have been coming here for several years and we will keep coming back!

The grounds were pretty run down. The pool was very dirty and gross looking. Missing tiles are hazardous. The staff was not very friendly.

It was okay, lots of standing water which lead to lots of mosquitoes/insects. Would not recommend if you have a tent because trailers seem to be allowed to keep their large, outdoor spotlights on 24/7, which are very visible if you’re in a tent. You’re also not allowed to hang a clothes line to attempt to block the blinding lights. Bring an eye mask and ear plugs. At least the bathrooms are cl

Nice campground. Well maintained. Great location between Grand Haven & Holland. Staff is great and had a chance to talk with the Rob (Mowhawk). Real nice guy who wants to make sure you're stay is enjoyable, as with the rest of the staff.

The pool while functioning is not heated, there are chips in the liner, and the ladder has been broken each of our visits. The fire pit is deep making it difficult to cook.

Great activities for kids to do and of course the rides in the evenings are so fun for the kids!! Nice new sites, wish they were all like that. Sites have too many pine needles and dirt, for those who camp with pets. We were not told about any activities when we checked in, which was disappointing. Snakes by the fishing pond were scary. Love the woods and the atmosphere, the quietness too.

Great location, cabin was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are a bit far from cabins, especially at night.

We stayed in a cabin that had extremely uncomfortable mattresses. Location is perfect, close to Lake Michigan and surrounding areas. The delivery of firewood was nice and the bathrooms were regularly cleaned.

I was able to make a last-minute reservation on a Saturday night. The office person I spoke with over the phone was kind and helpful. As we pulled in after dark, we did not see much of the campground, but did see their amazing wagon they have for their glo-rides. Site was spacious and we had no problem parking our motorhome by flashlight. Trees are tall and were not in the way. Nice & quiet!

Campgrounds were okay, ponds were disappointing and tent sights were too close to each other. Staff was super friendly, but a little disorganized, mohawk guy is great and fun to talk with, nice camp store and grounds were clean.

We stayed for a month returning home occasionally. It was our second monthly stay this year. We have now booked an extra week. We enjoy the shaded sites and peace and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stay away from KOA campgrounds generally because so many are like Walmart parking lots. We enjoy the birds (we've seen eagles, egrets, turkeys, herons, owls and many songbirds).

Great place! So many fun activities for the whole family! Loved the glow ride and water wars! Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Price of firewood and ice were reasonable, The pool has some wear and tear but still good enough to swim in. There are overgrown grass/weeds near the jumping pad, basketball and volleyball courts. The campsites are spacious but lots of pinecones and acorns.

Pro’s: Great for kids, lots of activities etc. Secluded large sites, no highway noise. Con’s: Very weak internet, and very weak cell connectivity. (Can be considered Pro’s if you’re really trying to disconnect). Good food options in nearby towns.

The place was super clean. The spots spacious and shady, giving us plenty of room and a break from the hot sun. We even saw deer at the back of our spot. I love how the owner was a people person and very hands on with his clients. The kids hayride and glow rides were so fun to watch. Definitely look forward to coming back again and someday bringing grandkids:)

We absolutely loved Allendale KOA!! The trees are beautiful and our campsite was just perfect! So much to do for the kids. We only stayed 2 nights as it was our first time camping with the kids, but we will definitely extend our stay next time! We can't wait to go back!!

All of the people who worked there were very pleasant and helpful. The site was nice as well. The kids enjoyed the balloon launcher, pool, and the goats! We live in Allendale, so it’s a. Ice place to stay and use the pool close to home.�

We love this KOA, it's our 2nd time going there to visit our son at GVSU. Coming from mostly private campgrounds, KOA's are typically not my favorite, but this one is super clean, quiet, the grounds are kept up, and the staff is all super nice. We loved how spacious the sites are and the central location to everything (Allendale, Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, Holland). We will be going back!

The park was very well cared for. The speed limit was enforced. The staff was very friendly. This is our second visit to this park and would highly recommend it!

Great campground all around! Everything was clean and well taken care of. The gentlemen at the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the goats! We will definitely be back again!

Absolutely love this campground. Mohawk makes it so much fun for the kids. Very clean bathrooms and very fun atmosphere. Would definetly recommend.

Great place to visit. Cell reception is horrible and we couldn't get the Internet to work but who really needs that when camping anyway. Tons of stuff for the kids to do
