It was our first time camping and we only booked for night. After our first night we booked to stay again because we had so much fun! It’s very kid friendly, everyone is so nice and it’s a very clean camp ground. We will definitely be back!

This was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last! Loved our site, super long with tons of room. Pool was inviting, kids had lots of stuff to keep them busy and we even feed the goats a few times �

The staff was very friendly and the entire campground was inviting. Our kids loved all of the different things to do and the wagon/glow ride!

It was an overnight stay but we would have liked to spend more time at this KOA. We had plenty of room. The bathroom/shower was older but clean. It has tons of trees and the landscaping was well maintained.

Great activities for the kids. Overall clean facilities. A few tips for improvements: better signage (hard to tell where to check in, where the walking path goes etc.) Another KOA had online check in ahead of time & Text requests etc. The bathhouses were pretty spread out and was difficult to manage with kiddos. Outdoor electric & water accessibility at cabins would be a plus.

My husband and I brought our camper for an extended weekend with our 2 LabraDoodles. The Campground was so perfect. Loved that they have a separate place for the dogs to go to the bathroom, makes it so much easier for my dogs to feel comfortable. Clean showers. Quiet time was perfect too. Loved all the friendly people who worked to keep the Campground clean and safe. Thanks!

Very nice camping property. Has mixed use (tent to concrete pad RV sites to rustic or new cabins). Property maintained great with beautiful flower beds, clean pool, and signage. Owners sweat and time is very evident. The mature pine forest with mixed hard woods gave plenty of shade.

KOA though the years has set high standards in amenities, quality, maintenance, cleanliness, etc.... The Allendale facility has fallen into significant disrepair. Go to the KOA (recently sold to Yogi Bear) in Petosky - no comparison.

We love staying here. All the staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. Everyone is always happy to answer any questions or offer assistance. The facilities are cleaned and well maintained. Love the new sites being added but that there are still rustic sites that have all the amenities too. The glow rides are the best. Mohawk family and staff are so welcoming. We can't wait for next year's trip.

One of my favorite campground and KOA. Clean, family and pet friendly. Lots are level and deep. Reasonably distance between sites. Water pressure could be better. My second time there, we will be back. Stayed on site 28.

Really enjoyed our campsite close to the fun amenities. Campground is beautiful with lots of trees and shade. My kids enjoyed the Water Wars, Gem Mine, Jumping Pillow, and especially the Wagon Rides / Glow Rides. Lots of fun! Mohawk and his family and crew are awesome! �

Didn’t look inviting as you entered from the main road. Our picnic table was awful. Warped with paint peeling, did not use it. The rest of our stay was great!

We had a great time! There were so many activities to do, but the pool was probably the favorite of the kids. All of the staff was super friendly and the camp store was reasonably priced. A great family destination. I’m also happy to report the bathrooms were kept fairly clean. Just a little bummed we didn’t catch any fish! We will be back again!

An excellent place to stay. Enjoyed talking with Mohawk and seeing the light parade go by the cabin. I'm disappointed that there is an 8 person maximum overnight per site. You won't know this when reserving based on the KOA website. A bigger pool area, very large bounce pad, gaga ball, and basketball court made for fun activities. Clean common bathrooms always nice. Cabin in excellent shape.

This was our 2nd stay and was 4th of July weekend. The camprground was busy but still quiet & relaxing. I was surprised there wasn't planned events though sadly someone did a karaoke concert one night. They had 3 singers, girl was good the others were HORRIBLE!! I wish they would've been told to stop but it was before quiet hours. We plan to come back, hope there is no singing, lol.

We LOVED our first stay and we will DEFINITELY be back. The disappointing part was the wifi in this technology driven world we live in! I don’t mind roughing it, but better wifi would be a great upgrade! But we will see you soon!!!!

We had a great time. Very family oriented! Park was clean and well taken care of. Hayrack ride every night with fun hip hop music for kids and adults. Will definitely return.

Amazing campground, sites were very well kept, the owner and his family are incredibly nice and make it a point to come see everyone and make sure they are taken care of. They have to many fun things to do for kids there. The bathroom facilities are well maintained. Overall it was an amazing experience here, can’t wait to go back!

Great place to do your spring shakedown run for the summer months. Very kid friendly with hayrides on the weekends along with a bounce pad. 4th year in a row that we've been here.

Loved our stay here! The owner is so nice (you can tell he enjoys what he does). Our site was easy to get in & out. Clean bathroom & shower. Other things we enjoyed: walking trails, lots of trees, well kept landscaping, feeding goats, water wars, hay ride, neon ride (music is terrific), paint ball was a blast! This campground did not disappoint. Caution: the speed limit in 4.93 mph. Do not exceed.

We had a pop-up camper and stayed in the very back by the pond, lucked out and didn't have any neighbors so we had a big section to ourselves while still being close to the bath house. Loved how much there was for kids at this campground. Goats, playground at both the front and back of the property, and a giant bounce thing that my girls loved! Everything was very clean and well kept, we had a nice and easy stay (with 2 toddlers!) and the owner could not have been any nicer and helpful! Would recommend this place to anyone, even if you just need a cheap place to crash near Grand Haven.
