This is one of the most relaxing KOAs we've stayed at. Love the trees and shade plus amenities. We've now camped here in the winter and summer.

Everyone on staff was super friendly. There is a ton of things to do with the kids and the lots are huge! We will definitely be going again!

The price is too high for the following reasons. Unpaved roads make it difficult for small children to ride their bikes. Pool was on the cold side, again, for small children that has a negative emotion for them. Jump pad directly in the sun so could not jump when in the heat of the day.

Nice tent area with electric. Our site was close to the restrooms. Showers were good. We were there during the week and it was quiet.

We were most impressed by the large, wooded sites. Facilities were clean and well kept. The laundry room was affordable! Lots for kids to do. Tammie in the camp store was friendly & helpful. The Mohawk guy was great to talk with. Our only concern was the overly stern talking to we received about the speed limit. Our truck idles at 10mph and the limit is 5.

Stayed 3 nights and overall had a great experience. Location to big cities like (GR, Muskegon, Holland, etc) was what brought us to this KOA. Stayed at site 58 and there were a few issues. Annoying beeping from an unoccupied camper, small fire pit and weak wifi.

A staff member was threatened and intimidated to my cohabitant driver at our site at night because my partner was supposed to stop or pull over on the soft ground (non-grass) when a tractor passed us. He can't see the tractor driver due to the headlight blinding him and didn't hear his yell while my partner closed the door window. Rules & Regulations didn't mention the tractor's right way. :-(

Mohawk and his crew were extremely customer focused. The bathrooms were the best maintained that we have experience within KOAs we have stayed at. The wooded areas were very awesome and having a little extra space is so nice - removin the trees and extra space like a lot of KOA campgrounds would be a horrible idea. kOA (and other campgrounds) could learn a few things from this site.

Very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, all neighbors despite being quite close to one another were respectful of each other's space and quietude. Being only 30 minutes or so from Lake Michigan and Grand Haven made for easy planning. We checked in at around 10pm and had directions, car tags and a map leading to our campsite waiting for us.

The family went out the campground for a long weekend during the summer and had a great time! The campground has plenty of shade trees, plenty for the kids to do, and is 15-20 mins away from Holland MI and the beach. It's an excellent site, made much better by a friendly and caring staff. Definitely planning on going back next year!

Great camp ground staff and owner where all super friendly and kind lots of stuff for the kids to do the only down fall was the WiFi only worked if you where next to the camp store /office normally not a big deal but our Verizon cell service had next to no service so not able to get updates on our plans the night before fyi our site was towards the back of the camp ground

What a great campground!!! We were so pleased with the spaces. Instead of just wide, you had whole YARD of space in the woods behind your camper to stretch back into your own space. The roads were incredibly wide and easy to navigate, but easily got you into a wooded spot that was super fun. Not to mention the Mohawk Man giving tractor rides in the evening as everyone was having a BLAST!!! Thanks!

The owner , Mohawk, is a lot of fun. Kids loved him. Spaces had lots of shade and were big enough to have a fire without smoking your neighbor. Staff was very friendly.

Lots to do at this KOA for kids. Staff is wonderful. HUGE sites. Lot of tall trees. Have 4 goats that love attention. Bring your bug spray

This campground was so nice. Everything we love when camping. A large campsite, quiet, and relaxing. You can see the owners take really good care of the campground and want to make sure everyone has a great stay. It is one of the best KOAs we have stayed at and can't wait to stay again.

I was very pleased with our experience. The camp ground is clean and well shaded. The check in and out process was simple. The staff were all very friendly. I found the rates reasonable. The location was central to many family activities like the zoo in Grand Rapids, Dutch Village in Holland, the music fountain and small shops in Grand Haven and an awesome boat rental place just 10 min away.

Having a larger 5th wheel, these sites have no issue fitting them. Great shade with all the trees. Staff was amazing as well.

We loved the place! It's very beautiful and lots of fun things for the kids to do. We had electrical problems on our site but other than that everything was fantastic.

a good stay we have stayed before I don't know what may be going on but the only person that is personable is Tammy in the office I know we all go through hard times but I am disappointed no one is bubbly & friendly anymore, faces won't break to crack a smile try it you may like it. Have a great Day! MOHAWK whatever you are going through it will get better, your personality is awesome, its lost!

My only regret is that they didn't have availability for a longer stay. The campus is lovely with shade from tall pines. The owners/staff were happy to be there and it showed in their warm welcome and relaxed vibe.

First impression was sketchy with the vacant house, some derelict trailers and the goat pen, but once inside we were greeted by very nice people. The grounds are well kept, clean nice bathrooms, many spots. Ours backed up to a pond. We enjoyed listening to the Bullfrogs and met the Ducks. Fun to see the evening lighted parade and all the kids following on bikes. Nice place overall.

We love how beautiful and natural this campground is! So many times we find the KOAs lacking the kind of natural beauty that drew us to camping in the first place, but Allendale KOA did an excellent job preserving it. There were so many fantastic activities for the kids, they were never bored! The hosts and staff were extremely gracious and friendly. Please don’t ever change!

Campground is very nice. Sites are large and treed. Campground is quiet. There are lots of amenities. They even deliver the firewood to your site. My only complaint is that it is kind of remote, not really close to.anything. It is a bit of a drive to get anywhere.

Spacious tent sites, Clean and well maintained facilities, and super friendly staff brought our group back for the 3rd year in a row. Many attractions for the kiddos to keep them busy all day. Also, Robert’s cool hair and great music choices for the nightly tractor ride make for an even more memorable experience.

Fun little campground. They have two playgrounds on both ends of the campground. We definitely loved the pool in June. The tractor load of firewood is definitely worth it if you're spending more than just the weekend.

We stayed at this campground twice this month. We stayed the night of 11/28 and the staff was so kind to have our site clear of snow. Thank you so much. Easy late arrival check in. We recommend and would stay again.
