The people are very friendly and accomodating. That said,the bathrooms could use some refurbishing and an outlet for razor and hairdrying would be helpful. We stayed in May and the dishwashing sink outside the bathrooms was not hooked up. The sites had plenty of space but be warned,they are very close to the freeway.

Checked in for quick overnight stay. It’s rustic, got ourselves a shower. Doesn’t rate with KOA’s that are located in a place like South Padre but it can’t because it is seasonal. Nestled in quiet farm country. I’d definitely stop again.

First time camping of the season here! Brian in the office was SO nice and generous. It was pretty quiet there, he upgraded us to a nicer spot and threw in an extra bundle of wood. The facilities were clean, graveled pull through spots were so nice. Other campers there were very nice. It’s pretty close to the interstate, so just be aware you’ll hear that noise

We had a nice, shady site. Quiet despite being right beside the Interstate. Poor wi-fi. Don't understand why so many KOA's have problem providing this service. The cost of a stay should surely include something so essential to daily life.

We had a medical emergency the day we arrived at this park. The people here are exceptional and it is because of them we got the help needed and lived to tell about it. We could not be more appreciative!

Our stay was a quick 1 night stay, while traveling home on the interstate. Worked great. Alot of road noise early in the evening, but got less as the night went on. It didn't keep us from getting our rest.

One nite stay. Close to end of season, the campground was slow, but that did not take away the showers. Not real clean, did not use. Other wise, ok.

We have stayed overnight at this KOA several times. It is perfect for a quick stop as we travel west, or back home. It is clean, has nice bathroom facilities, and we always feel welcomed.

One of THE best Journey KOAs we have stayed at. Owners show they really care about their park. Well taken care of and it shows. Plenty of facilities and very personal and knowledgeable owners.......will stop there again when passing thru southern Minnesota.

The minimal hours open made me feel that the place was not going to be accommodating. BOY WAS I WRONG. I have never stayed at a KOA where the people were quick to respond and available at all hours. We will be back

We enjoyed the camp for an overnight stop. We were able to check-in a bit early on Sunday in order to get to Austin and take in the Spam museum. The KOA staff sent a text explaining what would happen and we requested the early arrival. No problems. They are very accommodating. The park is clean and well kept with nice pull through sites. I would stay again if in the area.

Great little campground with friendly staff and a location that is close enough to the highway to be convenient but still be quiet. This location worked out great for our visit to the Spam museum on our business trip. Definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this KOA campground! The new owners is a veteran, which we really appreciate, and it shows in the pride they take in running the campground. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The campground was very clean, including the sites and bathrooms, which were well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the small playground, and the overall atmosphere was family-friendly, quiet, and relaxing. The location is also very convenient—right off the highway, making it an easy stop while traveling without sacrificing a peaceful camping experience. We're excited to see how the new owners continue to improve the campground and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend for families and travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to camp.

Nice quiet campsite. Conveniently located near interstate 90 but far enough away so that we didn't have the traffic noise. Friendly helpful staff. Peaceful. Update 6/5/26. New owners are great. Working hard to get park cleaned up after Ash tree removal due to disease. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Will definitely stay here again!
