Finding out that this campground lost 52 trees to the ash boaring beetle was terrible. But Finding out it has a new owner who is a Veteran my family and I are looking forward to staying again in the future to see the improvements!

The cabin was filthy with lots of dog hair and dirt everywhere. Had to sweep and mop three times...NASTY!!! The ceiling fan was dusty and cobwebs everywhere. The bathrooms were nasty and were never cleaned. The owners were unfriendly and the grounds were not up kept. Customers expect to have clean conditions when paying so.much to camp. We will never return to this KOA. Not worth the money!

Easy to reserve, great communication via text. Cabin was simple but still super cute. Lived the nice touches of the matched lighting and bar seating. Beds were very comfortable. AC worked great. Even a TV, but we didn't use it. Nice seating on front porch. Dog run area was great for our pups. Shower and bath super clean. No noise, and away from town so got some nice stars, too.

Very polite and helpful host couple. Went out of their way to rent us a cabin after hours and fixed us up with some gas when my Coleman stove ran out. Highly recommend this KOA.

I stayed in a nice very cozy cabin! Nice quiet rural location. I met the friendly owners of the KOA. Would highly recommend this KOA location to anyone!

We were going to be late coming in and our host left the light on and started the AC in the cabin. This was much appreciated after our long drive. This was our second stay as it is convenient stop over between Ohio and the Black Hills.

Our stay was short, but well worth it. On our way there, we realized we were going to get there until very late in the evening. We called ahead and they left us a map to our cabin, which was clean and warm. After sixteen hours of driving, couldn't have asked for anything else! Thanks.

Due to circumstances beyond or control, we had to switch from our SylvanPort GO popup to a basic Kabin. It was very comfortable. The restrooms were well planned and clean. The layout of the campground impressed us - lots of open spaces ad tree covered areas, space between the RVs seemed generous. AND the freeway noise was much lower than other campgrounds!

We were on a cross country vacation. We tried to book this KOA while travelling and didn’t have any luck. The website showed that they had spaces available so we took a chance. We arrived to pleasant owners Given that we had a long travel day I decided to rent a cabin. I found the camp ground needing some extra amenities for families but it suited us just for our stay

Campground is very nice. The owners were very friendly. They have a cat very friendly cat, Hal, that wanders the grounds. My girls every morning would try to find him. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin. Very clean. So much to like about the campground hope to stay there again.

Our cabin was stuffy and hot with no fan or a/c so it made it hard to have a good nights sleep.

Great location. Close to interstate but far enough away for little noise. Lady that ran the place was very nice and helpful. It was crowded with extended stays but shaded and nice.

Great little campground with friendly staff and a location that is close enough to the highway to be convenient but still be quiet. This location worked out great for our visit to the Spam museum on our business trip. Definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this KOA campground! The new owners is a veteran, which we really appreciate, and it shows in the pride they take in running the campground. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The campground was very clean, including the sites and bathrooms, which were well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the small playground, and the overall atmosphere was family-friendly, quiet, and relaxing. The location is also very convenient—right off the highway, making it an easy stop while traveling without sacrificing a peaceful camping experience. We're excited to see how the new owners continue to improve the campground and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend for families and travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to camp.

Nice quiet campsite. Conveniently located near interstate 90 but far enough away so that we didn't have the traffic noise. Friendly helpful staff. Peaceful. Update 6/5/26. New owners are great. Working hard to get park cleaned up after Ash tree removal due to disease. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Will definitely stay here again!
