The campground is well maintained. There is a nice dog park, and plenty of room to walk you pet around the campground. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sites were of decent size and easily accessed. The sites were fairly level. The water is the only thing that was a concern. The water has a strong Iron smell. Would definitely recommend the park, and would stay there again.

Not very impressed with the campground. Campsite was muddy and not well kept. Bathroom facilities need upgrading.

The family was very friendly, and inviting when we checked in. Very nice offerings in the store from mini donuts to ice cream and supplies for even the four legged family members They were so nice to offer us a different site as the one we were to use was wet and muddy. The weather could have been a little better, and not rain so much, but we needed the rain. It is a very nice campground!!!

Staff was nice and friendly and helpful. Camping lots was clean and roomy. The rates was reasonable and they offer charge choice so you pay when you check out. Overall I will recommend KOA ALBERT LEA to all my friends

We stayed 2 nights in a pull through with patio/chairs. The campground was well maintained and staff friendly. Nice clean little store for things you might have forgotten.

The Albert Lee / Austin KOA campground was conveniently located just off I90. With that in mind, if you hate highway noise, this is probably not your first choice. We were traveling back home during the Memorial Holiday and availability was limited. The camp hosts were very nice as are most KOA hosts. This campground was easy to navigate and our site was electric/water only site.

Booked site online, full hookup. Site only had electric and water. Owner said I picked the site, yes I picked full hookup!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes you booked the reservation online and reserved a water and electric site. Full hookups cost more. The system assigns your site by the group you pick. Sorry I couldn't change it when you arrived, but we were completely full. Please read ther description and verify what you reserved.

We stayed 1 night. The stay served our purpose. Washrooms had good hot water and pressure, but walls were stained and looked very old. Staff was very friendly.

We enjoyed our stop over, the patio with chairs and fire pit was nice. The only suggestion I would make is a little weed killer would be an easy improvement to the look of the grounds

We felt so welcomed the second we walked into the registration office, with the host Brian saying, “welcome, it’s a beautiful day to be camping”! Brian and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. We had asked for a site with a tree… done, we had asked to buy propane, Brian drove over to our site in his bobcat, picked up our empty tank, filled it, and returned in a quick manner. Awes

Early in season so not many there, yet they put me in site that turned into lake koa. It rained overnite. Apparently they dont know their own camp ground very well. The sad thing is they had fresh raised gravel on other sites. Pathetic.

Our stay started out great, until the owners started burning brush and what have you, the smoke was so bad it filled the inside of the trailer, which is brand new. When I went too let them know how inconsiderate it was of them too burn when the wind was blowing right in the direction of all of the RV’s. His comment was, “We were not going too open until today”. So inappropriate!!!

I understand you being upset but my comment was you didn't have a reservation and we were not open. I said we had projects to complete. But i let you stay because you said no problem. We were burning the brush pile and the wind shifted.

Great little campground with friendly staff and a location that is close enough to the highway to be convenient but still be quiet. This location worked out great for our visit to the Spam museum on our business trip. Definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this KOA campground! The new owners is a veteran, which we really appreciate, and it shows in the pride they take in running the campground. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The campground was very clean, including the sites and bathrooms, which were well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the small playground, and the overall atmosphere was family-friendly, quiet, and relaxing. The location is also very convenient—right off the highway, making it an easy stop while traveling without sacrificing a peaceful camping experience. We're excited to see how the new owners continue to improve the campground and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend for families and travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to camp.

Nice quiet campsite. Conveniently located near interstate 90 but far enough away so that we didn't have the traffic noise. Friendly helpful staff. Peaceful. Update 6/5/26. New owners are great. Working hard to get park cleaned up after Ash tree removal due to disease. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Will definitely stay here again!
