Relatively quiet place. A little interstate noise but not bad. Nice grassy sites. Good water, elec and sewer taps. WiFi needs to be improved.

Unkept. No plugs in bathroom for hairdryers. Lawns not mowed.

There are 3 plugs in each bathroom on the front of the counter. I am sorry you missed it. Next time ask the staff. The grass is mowed weekly but it also dry and hasn't rained in 7 weeks.

The owner and his family are extremely nice. We gave up sewer connectivity to be able to use our dish satellite receiver. IT worked fine. Several construction workers staying there so you know their rates are reasonable. Was close to Austin and made it desirable. Albert Lea is equally close so one could enjoy both communities if you stay a few days.

Friendly check in at desk, but the rest was the worst campground I have stayed in 45 years of camping! The bathroom was dirter than rest areas after the 4th of July traffic ! I had to bleach the shower before I went in! it was discusting and it wasn't busy my guess is it was a week since it was cleaned I may call the health department on this place

I am sorry you feel that way. We clean the bathrooms daily. The water is hard and has a lot of iron which stains the walls. We just had our health inspection and passed 100%.

The internet didn't work. I paid a lot of money to stay at it this site. No shade. Nothing special about it, so I would recommend a friend find a cheaper campsite.

This was just an overnight stop on our way to Wisconsin Dells, WI. The campground was nice for an overnight. We probably wouldn't stay for any longer if we had something to do in the area because there was not much there for kid entertainment since the pool is no longer in use. But that is just our preference since we have a child. Nice well kept campground with nice hosts!

We had an overnight stay here. Our site was comfortable and shaded. The laundry met our needs. We'd stay again.

We Reserved via phone, March 3, for an arrival on June 20th requesting a Full Hook-up. Upon arrival there were no sites with sewer, thus no full hook-up. They could not accommodate us as they were full this night. The site we were placed on was basically under construction with a ditch mound across the middle. The grounds and sites need work. Best part here is the WiFi was much improved.

Nice smaller campground on the edge of Austin/Albert Lea. We travel through this area to see family every year and always stop here.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Sites were gravel and could have been a little more level. Our site had the sewer connection way back which made it difficult to drain our tanks. Didn't understand that as other sites were up by power and water.

Our reservations were messed up but the staff were very helpful to correct the mistake. It was an excellent experience. Will stay there again. Kudos to the current staff for their customer service.

Unfortunately we arrived after many rainy days and after new electric lines were installed, thus the campsite was muddy and a deep run the wheels fell into.

Perfect stop for passing through. We have stayed here before after service in Forest City Ia. It's a short drive and allows an extra day should work need a revisit or run long. Staff is friendly, sites are good enough, easy access to interstates. FHUs and very quite location!

Nice level sites. Laundry Room was small with 4 washers ($2.00) and 4 dryers (75 cents). They did say they are building a new laundry room. Sites were pretty spacious with quite a few trees.

Stayed one night. We were told we were given a site with a view. It was of the farm field. A little pricey for a campground in the middle of nowhere.

For our purposes, this place was awesome. Incredibly friendly staff. Quiet and felt like you were actually at a campground vs concrete park. Site was beautifully level. Doesn't seem like a thing you really care about. However, with a large RV, its a life saver. On our list to return.

Close off of I35. We like stopping here on of way to Minnesota. Easy in and easy out. Plenty of space.
