Nice, clean campground. Convenient access from the interstate. We reserved one of the three sites with the KOA patio and it was lovely.

Bathrooms were clean and looked well maintained. Nothing to do on location and the mosquitos in and around the area were horrible. Grass was tall and many puddles of water and mud from previous rains. The staff were all friendly that I spoke with.

Nice quiet stay. Friendly check in. Spacious grassy site with beautiful farm field views. Only negative was the gravel for the site was too narrow. A little difficult to maneuver to get level and still stay on gravel. Nice KOA Journey!

Great location, quiet, and trees on most of the sites. Nice clean laundry room ( didn’t use the shower room). The hours for the office are a little strange 8:30 to 10:00am and 2:00 to 6:00pm

Not kid friendly. Playground roped off and not usable.. Couldn't ride bikes because there were 80 years there. HOWEVER, NO handicap accessible feature. Not even a rail in the bathroom.How handy for those old folks and my daughter who is in a wheelchair.

Not up to the typical KOA standards. Our fire pit was submerged in a puddle. No playground. Water was brown and smelled. Really disappointed.

Cozy little campground that is easy to get in and out and has easy access. The spaces are nice and level for easy setup.

We were greeted warmly and promptly. We appreciated how flexible the staff was when our plans changed and we needed a longer stay. Our campsite was a little rough around the edges but I believe they are new owners making improvements. We would stay again.

Staying at the Albert Lea/Austin KOA is always a pleasant experience. This year we were there over the 4th of July and they planned a wonderful fireworks display (about a mile from the park) that was beautifully visible from the park...we watched from inside our Motorhome! Management is so friendly and helpful...we will be back!

Campground isn’t bad for an overnight stay when traveling I90. But there is absolutely nothing to do there. Not even a decent playground for children. Showers were decent tho.

I stayed in a nice very cozy cabin! Nice quiet rural location. I met the friendly owners of the KOA. Would highly recommend this KOA location to anyone!

This is good place to stay while driving.. it is very convenient to the I90 and therefore it makes a rest from driving extremely easy. The campground is well maintained and the patio features are very welcomed

Sitr 52. Level with Electric and Water. We stayed two nights. Visited the SPAM museum in Austin. It's free and worth the time to find out the history of Spam and taste a few flavors. The staff are friendly and willing to help or hear your concerns. It's a 55+ park. No thrills. Gravel road into park and site.

We were going to be late coming in and our host left the light on and started the AC in the cabin. This was much appreciated after our long drive. This was our second stay as it is convenient stop over between Ohio and the Black Hills.

The standing water from the previous rain made maneuvering in the park very dirty. My leveling jacks sank even though they were on pads. The grass needed to be cut.

Arrived for a quick overnight. Bad storms went through the day before and the campground had some standing water but the staff was doing their best to add gravel and drain what they could.

The area flooded. And they put rocks down so i can park and still camp. Why would i camp in a damp area and not be offered a refund or a cabin. I wouldnt put my kid in that predicament. So we had to sleep in the car. Too many mosquitos and we weere very excited to leave. If the area flooded it would had veen nice to get a call to let us know to be prepared. And theres nothing to do in that campgro

Had just rained a lot so lots of water, but the owners found us a good spot for the night and went above and beyond to make it comfortable. They are great folks.

Convenient stop off for us traveling through for one night. Quiet location, and people were friendly and accommodating. The grounds had quite a bit of standing water,may have been results of heavy rains, but made walking and set up a little messy. Can't beat the convenience here though. Thanks for a good stay!

Disappointed that experience did not reflect the internet search images and information. Showed a playground and pool neither were available. Staff was friendly, bathroom la clean. Not a family friendly experience. Had to leave campground for entertainment, swimming etc.

Friendly hosts. Dirty shower and bath area not cleaned the whole time we were there. I would not return.. Water was terrible. Iron content.

Was the nicest camp ground I've ever been to. They have nice air conditioned bathrooms with showers. And its super easy to navigate around in the grounds. I will be going back in the future

Great little campground with friendly staff and a location that is close enough to the highway to be convenient but still be quiet. This location worked out great for our visit to the Spam museum on our business trip. Definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this KOA campground! The new owners is a veteran, which we really appreciate, and it shows in the pride they take in running the campground. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The campground was very clean, including the sites and bathrooms, which were well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the small playground, and the overall atmosphere was family-friendly, quiet, and relaxing. The location is also very convenient—right off the highway, making it an easy stop while traveling without sacrificing a peaceful camping experience. We're excited to see how the new owners continue to improve the campground and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend for families and travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to camp.

Nice quiet campsite. Conveniently located near interstate 90 but far enough away so that we didn't have the traffic noise. Friendly helpful staff. Peaceful. Update 6/5/26. New owners are great. Working hard to get park cleaned up after Ash tree removal due to disease. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Will definitely stay here again!
