It was a very quick in and out, as we were headed home to Indiana from a trip to Yellowstone. We did not make a reservation, but called when were about an hour away. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. We got in after hours in a heavy rain, knew where our site was to be and registered/paid when they opened up in the morning.

We used this site as a stop over on our way to Spearfish S D . The campground was very nice and easy to get to. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS A BIMBO WITH A CLASS A THAT MUST HAVE BEEN AFRAID OF THE DARK AS SHE HAD ALL THE OUTSIDE LIGHTS ON ALL NIGHT, THEY LITE UP THE WHOLE PARK ,SHE SHOWED NO RESPECT FOR ANYBODY ELSE

cutting all the trees down need to stop and cleanup. Pool is an overgrown mess. Either fill it in or get it opened. Has steadily gone down hill since I first stayed here 7 years ago.

For an overnight park it was great. We were greeted by friendly folks while checkin in and were told about things to do in the area. My reason for the 4 was that the dog park could have used the grass cut. This might have even helped to keep the mosquitoes down, they were very heavy there. All in all great park!

So convenient. We did an excursion to LaCrosse, WI and it truly felt like we were coming home to a safe and welcoming base of operations. The next day, we just hung out, cooked and relaxed. Such an awesome, relaxing experience!

Super clean bathrooms, well kept campground, mature trees and nice grassy areas between sites. We stayed one for one night during a trip back home from the SD National Parks. We would definitely stay again!

It was a terrific stay. We booked only a day or two in advance and we were happy they had open spots. We only wished the store was open long.

The cabin was filthy with lots of dog hair and dirt everywhere. Had to sweep and mop three times...NASTY!!! The ceiling fan was dusty and cobwebs everywhere. The bathrooms were nasty and were never cleaned. The owners were unfriendly and the grounds were not up kept. Customers expect to have clean conditions when paying so.much to camp. We will never return to this KOA. Not worth the money!

It was okay for an overnight stay. Grass was cut but weedeating was not done. Foot and half high grass around water and electric, look was unkempt. For what you get, very overpriced and evidence shows money in pocket not in the park.

Great little campground with friendly staff and a location that is close enough to the highway to be convenient but still be quiet. This location worked out great for our visit to the Spam museum on our business trip. Definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this KOA campground! The new owners is a veteran, which we really appreciate, and it shows in the pride they take in running the campground. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The campground was very clean, including the sites and bathrooms, which were well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the small playground, and the overall atmosphere was family-friendly, quiet, and relaxing. The location is also very convenient—right off the highway, making it an easy stop while traveling without sacrificing a peaceful camping experience. We're excited to see how the new owners continue to improve the campground and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend for families and travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to camp.

Nice quiet campsite. Conveniently located near interstate 90 but far enough away so that we didn't have the traffic noise. Friendly helpful staff. Peaceful. Update 6/5/26. New owners are great. Working hard to get park cleaned up after Ash tree removal due to disease. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Will definitely stay here again!
