When I travel I stay almost exclusively at KOA’s. The Albert Lea KOA remains one of my favorites due to its friendly staff, location, dog park and cleanliness.

Nothing special at this campground. Bathrooms not very clean and WiFi very weak. Doesn’t appear that there is much maintenance happening at this campground and it was hard to get any work done there. Next time we will move on down the road to another campground.

Stayed for one night. Fairly level site. Awesome dog walking area. Grass neatly cut. Wi-Fi wouldn’t work. No cable.

I stay here on my way across country. The people are very nice but the campground is up against the interstate and quite noisy. It’s fine for my needs and I would recommend it.

This place needs to improve. The picnic tables need to be painted, the bathrooms need to be cleaned. It is just run down.

The stay was ok. Small campground. The man that checked me in shoved the map at me and circled our site. He wasn't very friendly. There was trash at our site. The internet wasn't very good and kept cutting out. The highway is very loud next to the campground.

Our first stay at the campground. Even though we didn’t meet the manager, he was very friendly. We got there late and let us know he wouldn’t be there when we checked in.

Although the bathrooms could use some updating, it doesn't detract from the overall experience. This place boasts an excellent location extremely close to the highway, making it a convenient stop for those traveling on I-96.

We stayed in a 32 ft MH and the site assigned was pretty nice with afternoon shade. Site could be more level. This is an older KOA and it is beginning to show its age. Road maintenance is better than the county, but pot holes need to filled sooner and some gravel is needed in the spots. Most disheartening to step out on to mud. Some road noise, but nothing to keep us awake

Kind of crazy that we're the only group that actually sat outside and enjoyed the outdoors. People get to the campground, set up camp, and spend their entire time in their camper.

Friendly staff/managers. Nice variety of items in Kamp store. We had an E/W pull-thru near the office, and there was very little road noise. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

It was a great campground from check in until we left everything was great. The dog park was the nicest one we have seen at a KOA, it was well maintained, clean and the grass was freshly mowed. We will definitely stay at this location again.

Great little campground with friendly staff and a location that is close enough to the highway to be convenient but still be quiet. This location worked out great for our visit to the Spam museum on our business trip. Definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this KOA campground! The new owners is a veteran, which we really appreciate, and it shows in the pride they take in running the campground. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The campground was very clean, including the sites and bathrooms, which were well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the small playground, and the overall atmosphere was family-friendly, quiet, and relaxing. The location is also very convenient—right off the highway, making it an easy stop while traveling without sacrificing a peaceful camping experience. We're excited to see how the new owners continue to improve the campground and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend for families and travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to camp.

Nice quiet campsite. Conveniently located near interstate 90 but far enough away so that we didn't have the traffic noise. Friendly helpful staff. Peaceful. Update 6/5/26. New owners are great. Working hard to get park cleaned up after Ash tree removal due to disease. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Will definitely stay here again!
