On Hwy 160 and Juniper Lane: The Alamosa / Great Sand Dunes KOA Journey is 3.5 miles east of Alamosa at mile marker 237 on the north side of Hwy 160.

We are excited to announce our first annual Chili Cook-Off!
All proceeds of the event will go to Care Camps, a non-profit organization that raises money to send children with cancer and their families to camps free of charge. At these medically supervised camps, children have the opportunity to make friends, connect with nature, and just be a kid.
The Cook-Off will be on Saturday September 9th, 2-4 pm, at the Alamosa KOA. All chili types are welcome. To register your chili, call 719-589-9757.
This is a family event with music, a playground, and lots of chili for tasting! When you are done voting for your favorite chili, you can make some s’mores at the community firepit.
