Debbie and Mark are excited to meet new KOA campers as well as greet guests they have met in the 14 years as an independent park. Being on site owners/managers has only reinforced their love of the business, lifestyle, and sense of family at the park. They were SUPER excited when all the members of the campground staff embraced the idea of converting to a KOA despite everyone knowing they would have to learn LOTS of new things including newly computerized office procedures. They are still laughing about the learning curve, but they are working as a team to improve and master the new skills TOGETHER!Mark has been an avid motorcyclist since age 9, and introduced Debbie to the experience when they began dating. One ride was all it took and that same week Debbie discovered the fashion world of Harley Davidson!! When they are not at the campground they can be found riding US 129's Tail of the Dragon, The Cherohala Skyway, Devil's Triangle, or other scenic rides near the Smoky Mountains. They have ridden ( NOT trailered ) their Screaming Eagle CVO to Sturgis, SD, Niagara Falls, and most recently, the Florida Key's. Mark also rides his Ironhorse Chopper to his DAY job as a service department Manager, one mile from the campground.
They are looking forward to their first season as a KOA!! Stop in and say HI!!
