Campground News

No Outside Firewood Allowed

Please be advised: It is unlawful to bring outside firewood into our KOA Kampground. This is necessary to protect our forests from infestations of non-indigenous insects and disease.

Best Routes For RVs and Trailers from Interstate 84

For the simplest approach to the Deerpark KOA - avoiding small bridges, low underpasses, and dangerous twists in the road - the following is considered the BEST ROUTE for RV's traveling either East or West on I-84: Take exit 4W to merge onto NY-17 W toward Binghamton; Take exit 113 for US-209 toward Wurtsboro/Ellenville; Turn left off exit onto US-209 S (signs for Port Jervis); Continue on US-209S for 9.7 mi; Turn left onto Canal Dr 0.7 mi; Turn left onto Guymard Tpke 0.4 mi. Campground will be on right. ~ GPS Lat: 41*26’28.92”N; Long: 74*36’22.51”W.

General Information

We want you, our Guests, to have the most Amazing camping experience of your lives! Relax, have fun, Stay Safe, and enjoy camping at its’ best.

Check-In: 3:00PM. •Check-Out: 12:00PM.
Re-register by 10:00AM to extend stay
(if available).

Hours: Operating hours are posted at all buildings. Please observe all signage.

Visitors of Registered Guests: Must register in-person at Store with registered guest. Additional fees posted at Store. Visitors must sign Policies Page. Visitor passes expire at 10:00PM. Driving under the influence is illegal; Visitors are reminded to not drink and drive.

Campfires: Allowed only in fire rings, which must be located away from brush or leaves. Do not leave fires unattended. All fires must be extinguished by midnight. Management assumes no responsibility for loss by fire, theft, accident, acts of Nature, etc. No Outside Firewood: Due to the risk of disease and invasive insects, the NYS D.E.C. regulation prohibiting the import of firewood to the Campground will be strictly enforced. $150.00 fine will be charged for violation of this ordinance by the Campground. Dispose of outside firewood in receptacle at Campground entrance. You may purchase fire wood at General Store (carts of wood can be delivered to Site)

Quiet Hours:11:00PM to 7:00AM. Registered guests only permitted during this time. Common courtesy is expected 24:7; No car/loud music, no walking through others’ Sites, No Trespassing onto Properties’ of Campground neighbors. Abide by All Posted Signage, etc.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in any building, including but not limited to all Accommodations (i.e. Kabins, Cabins and Lodges.) Fees for offense: $100.

Vehicles: Speed Limit strictly enforced: 5 mph. Be alert for children. Only legally licensed drivers may operate any motorized vehicle within the Campground. Car pass must be displayed at all times. Limit 2 cars per site. Seasonal Campers or campers with medical requirement may operate their personal golf carts when providing proof of insurance. No open alcohol bottles; No driving while intoxicated; No reckless driving. No ATVs. Stay on roadways.

Children: Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of your children. Age 17 and under: 1. must be accompanied by an adult (age 21+) within 5 feet of All Bodies of Water on Campground 2. Per NYS Law, must wear helmets whenever riding bicycles (No night riding), 3. must be at their campsites by 9:00PM if unaccompanied by adult (age 21+), and 4. must be accompanied to bathrooms; repair/replacement costs of any physical damage to bathrooms or any other facility on Campground will be charged to Parent/Guardian. We take pride in our Campground and hope our campers do as well.

Lodge & Kabin Accommodations: A $100 Refundable Cash Damage Deposit is required upon check-in; return accommodation in same condition as when you checked in for a full refund (accommodations are inspected upon check in and checkout). Please lock the door and bring the key to the Office upon check out. Fee for unreturned keys: $25. No Smoking and No Pets in units; a $100 fee separate from Damage Deposit for either offense. No cooking is permitted inside the Kamping Kabins.

Sites: Rate includes 2 adults and 2 children age 5-17; under age 5 is free (add fees for additional people); 1 RV camping unit per site; up to 2 tents, 2 cars, and 6 people max.

Pets: Need to be leashed at all times. Pets are not allowed at pool area, playgrounds or in buildings. They must never be left unattended; i.e. if pet leashed outside at Site, owners must be physically with pet. Aggressive or barking dogs are not permitted, per Management’s discretion (please ask if unsure). Pets must be cleaned up after. A $25 fee is charged for any/each of above offenses, and eviction without refund will be at Management’s discretion if issues recur. Rabies Certificates must be provided at Check-In. Only Overnight Registered Guests are permitted to bring pets; Visitors are not permitted to bring pets.

Pool & All Water Areas: We are required to notify you of these rules, to ensure that water rescue equipment is at the pool or beachside and that the swimming area is maintained in a sanitary manner. In the interest of your safety and that of your guests, we require you to follow these rules.The Swimming and All Facilities at Deerpark/NYC NW KOA are not supervised by a lifeguard or other responsible person. In place of on-site super vision, this facility has established a series of safeguards to be followed by all guests and visitors.

Please read the safety rules located at the entrance and outlined in this brochure. Swim at your own risk. Children who are not yet potty trained MUST wear ‘swim diapers’ in pool. NEVER SWIM ALONE. A minimum of two adults 21 years of age or older must be present whenever this swimming facility is in use, with at least one adult on the pool deck or beachfront. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ADEQUATE SUPERVISION. Children under 17 years of age must be accompanied to the bathing facility by a parent or guardian (21 years or older), or similar adult responsible for their safety and behavior. IN AN EMERGENCY, NOTIFY THE FACILITY OPERATOR AND CONTACT HELP IMMEDIATELY. A free telephone is provided at this facility at the General Store. Telephone numbers for the nearest emergency medical service are posted. Only use this facility during posted hours of operation. Don't drink alcohol and swim. Alcohol and glass bottles prohibited at pool area. NO Diving.

Injuries can be prevented and safety is everyone's responsibility. If you notice any problems with the water quality or the absence of safety equipment, please notify us at once.

Laundry: The laundry facility is located at the General Store, where tokens can be purchased and registered guests may get Door Code for after hours use. Also, do not hang clotheslines at Site.

WiFi: Free for all registered guests. Get Access# from General Store.

RVs: All RVs and RV sites must be formaldehyde and Proponol free. A sewer donut is required around sewer hose at point of connection to sewer pipe, and pipe must be sloped downward from RV to Park’s sewer hookup to prevent clogging and spillage.

Trash: Please put all garbage bags and recycling items in the proper Campground receptacles (see Site Map); Garbage is picked up at site post at scheduled hours through-out the day. Campground trash only. Please do not put trash in fire rings.

Management reserves the right to evict, without refund, for infractions of Above Campground rules and regulations, and including but not limited to: the use of weapons or explosives (including firearms, air guns, archery equipment, sling shots and fireworks), which are strictly prohibited; or disorderly conduct, drunkenness and obscene language, which is not tolerated. Okay, KOA Kampers! This is YOUR weekend! Decorate your sites for Christmas, and bring all your crafts and artwork to share with one another. Teach us what you know, and show us how you create your art! Just be sure to leave time to participate in the First Annual "DEERPARK KOA’S GOT TALENT!" Talent Show, on Saturday afternoon!
