Wytheville KOA Holiday General Information

Kampgrounds of America (KOA) locations have enhanced their health and safety measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic in order to better protect you, other campers, visitors and our staff.An inherent risk of exposure to this highly contagious virus exists in any public place where people may gather. You must follow all posted rules and instructions concerning the COVID-19 virus while you are at your selected KOA campground.Your selected KOA campground may have limited access to certain amenities in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Please call the campground to discuss specific limitations.By entering your selected KOA campground, you voluntarily assume all risks of exposure to the COVID-19 virus.If you need to cancel your reservation, you must call the campground before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable. Not calling to cancel/no show will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit.RV & Tent Sites: 48 hours cancellation notice is required. Notify your KOA by 4 p.m. two days before your scheduled arrival.Camping Cabins: 7 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA one week before your scheduled arrival.Deluxe Cabins & Unique Accommodations: These units may have special deposit and cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA campground location when making your reservations.Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. Please check with your selected KOA for details.

Our check-in time is 2:00 pm and check-out is 12:00 noon. Early check-in and late check-out are available.

Our camp store is open daily, from 8am-8pm in season. Friday and Saturday until 10pm (summer months only). Store hours 9am-5pm daily, from mid December - through mid March. Night box is available after hours. Hours may vary in the off season due to inclement weather.

This is not a problem for our after hours guests. We will leave a site map, with you name on it, with directions in our night registration box for those with a reservation. You will also find an information sheet attached to the map with general campground info with an after-hours number. As always, no reservation is needed. Simply grab an envelope from an available site, fill in the information and drop it in our night slot. Please give us a call if you need any assistance.

Our pool is open every day (weather permitting), Memorial Day to Labor Day. Hours are 10:00 am - 8:00 pm for all campers to enjoy. Come and enjoy the new pool featuring a double water slide with water lounge and kiddie area. Our beautiful pool furniture and cool mountain breezes will be sure to relax you on a hot summer day.

We welcome your guests to be our guests. Please inform the office of their visit and request a car pass for their vehicle. All visitors must register with the office and pay a day use fee.

We enjoy having your beloved four-legged family members around. There is never a charge at an RV site, but we do require a $10 fee in cabins, per pet, per day. Bring the family dog to enjoy our pet playground and stretch those legs after a day of driving. Please remember to pick up after your pet and keep them leashed at all times. Also, please do not leave them tied up unattended.

For the enjoyment of all our guest, our quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. Please refrain from any loud noise during this time. Please, no generators allowed.

We only allow golf carts, no ATV's or side by sides permitted. Please notify the campground if bringing a golf cart, carts must be in safe working order. Carts can only be driven after dark if they have front and rear lights. Must be 18 or older with a valid drivers license. All state and local rules apply. Must bring proof of insurance for golf cart.

The bowling and Family fun center is open daily during the regular season. Please check with store for details.

Greetings, I'm James, and along with my father, we are your  owner/operators of the Wytheville KOA Holiday!

We jumped at the opportunity to not only work together for the first time in 20 years, but to also realize a long-time dream of owning a campground!

We've made great improvements and continue to do so each season. We've upgraded the playground equipment, added new games in the Bowling and Family Fun Center, installed new regulation bowling lanes with automatic scoring, refinished the pool, upgraded the fixtures in the cottages, rebuilt many of the RV sites, with so much more to come.

Come spend a day, or a week, enjoying our stocked pond, Bowling and Family Fun Center, the AOK Cafe, and even a playground for the beloved family dog!
