General Campground Information

General Information & Store Hours

Check-in time for campsites is any time after 1 pm, and check-in time for rental units is any time after 3 pm.  Check-out time for all guests is by 11 am.
If you want to come in early, please call ahead the morning of your stay and we can keep you updated if your site is ready to go. There will be a $10 early check-in fee.

All visitors should check in with the office prior to navigating the campground and pay a nominal fee to cover the use of our facilities. Our office/store/registration area is open from 8 am to 8 pm in-season.
Our pool is open daily from 10am - 9pm (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend).

We allow a maximum of 4 adults per tent site

No (sleeping) tents are allowed on our RV sites - No exceptions. We are happy to give you a discount on a nearby tent site.

As a family campground, we do ask that all guests take note of our quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.

Please help us save our trees. The Department of Natural Resources restricts a guest from bringing in firewood from outside a 20-mile radius of the campground. Firewood is available for purchase in the campground store. Please no lumber, or treated wood, to be used as firewood.  Any outside firewood must stay in your truck or storage in the camper unless it is wrapped and purchased in town.  We very much appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep our trees alive, and keep our air free of noxious smoke caused by treated lumber.

Payment Options

We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Apple Pay, and Discover Cards. Cash is accepted for RV sites and tent sites only. Cabin guests are required to use a credit card. We do not accept cash cards, checks, money orders, or business checks.

Guests

As a family-owned campground, we understand that you want to have guests come to visit you at our campground and we are more than happy to have them.
  • To better serve all those at the camp with us, we are now charging a $5/person fee for daily guests to all those over the age of 17.
  • All guests must check in at the campground office.

Campground Wi-Fi

We do offer free limited wi-fi throughout the campground HOWEVER, we have limited speeds due to lack of providers in the area and or the occupancy of the campground. WIFI cannot be guaranteed, nor will it support streaming, video calls, or other high bandwidth uses. We apologize fo this inconvenience. If you are coming to our campground and need to do work, please bring a personal hotspot. We have been working with providers to bring better data speeds at a reasonable cost as to not pass that cost onto guests. We really appreciate your patience in this matter.

Golf Carts

All parts of the campground are easily walkable. Please no golf carts unless pre approved due to mobility issues.

Extra Cars

Are you bringing an extra vehicle beyond your tow vehicle or tow-behind car? We have very limited parking but offer it at $10 per vehicle per day, if the vehicle does not fit on your site. This applies for RV, Tent and Cabin sites.

Here at the Dells KOA we do not allow EV charging from any of our electrical outlets. We do have plans for the future of adding some EV charging stations. For more information please click on this link EV Charging at KOA.

Pet Policy and Service Animals

Pets: Your animal friends are welcome at the Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday. We ask that you comply with the KOA official National Pet Policy. We ask that you not bring any animal known to exhibit aggressive or protective behavior. We ask, PLEASE do not leave your pet(s) unattended at anytime and they must be on a 6 foot, or shorter, lead whenever the animal is outside the owner's trailer, vehicle, cabin or motorhome (we highly suggest not using a retractable leash).  Pet(s) that incessantly bark day or night are not permitted. Pets are only allowed inside designated "Pet Friendly" buildings. You are required to pick up after your animal friends. Violators of any of these policies may be asked to exit our campground.

Please keep pets under control at all times on a 6 foot lead or less. Retractable leashes are not a suitable way to keep your pet under your control, please try and use a static leash whenever possible. This is for the protection of your pets, and other pets that they may interact with. Any incident where we are uncertain of your animals behavior you may be asked to remove your animal from our presmises. Thanks for helping us keep our campground a safe place for our furry friends.

Service Animals: Prior to confirming your booking (with your service animal) please let us know the following:
•Is your Service Animal required because of a disability?
•What work or task has your Service Animal been trained to perform?
•Please note ESA/emotional assistance animals are not considered a service animal under the ADA and will be subject to the same fees/restrictions that any pet is during your stay.
https://adata.org/guide/service-animals-and-emotional-support-animals
•You are responsible at all times for your Assistance Animal's behavior. While we reasonably expect that your specialty Assistance Animal is well-trained, should any damage occur, you are responsible for the cost of any cleaning, repairs or replacements.

Smoking

Smoking is permitted at your site only and in designated smoking areas, absolutely no smoking at the pool or in any of the buildings or within 50' of a building entrance, including the pavilion.
Please help us keep our campground clean and dispose of any cigarette butts properly.
Please note:  Marijuana use is illegal in Wisconsin.  We are a family friendly campground and will ask anyone smoking marijuana outside of their camper or in any public place to leave the campground without a refund.

Confederate Battle Flag Policy

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all of its guests, franchisees and employees. Symbols that are intended to - or have the effect of - harassing, demeaning, intimidating or disparaging any legally protected minority run counter to that goal and are in conflict with the values of our organization. Therefore, Kampgrounds of America, Inc. bans the display of the Confederate battle flag symbol by KOA owners, staff, campers and any other members of the public and prohibits the sale of the Confederate flag symbol on all properties either owned, operated, or franchised by Kampgrounds of America, Inc. Guests or members of the public found to be in violation of this policy will be immediately asked to remove or cover the Confederate battle flag symbol. If they fail to do so, they will be asked to vacate the property.

Any flag, bumper sticker, political statement information that contains vulgarity, or we deem as not creating a welcoming environment may be asked to be covered or removed. Use your best judgement, please.

Meet Your Hosts

Sue & Ryan Siegle

Welcome to the Wisconsin Dells KOA. Nestled in the quiet woods just outside of the hustle and bustle of the waterpark capital of the world. You'll love it here!

Sue and Ryan Siegle take over the campground management role from Brandon Krug for the 2024 season. Sue and Ryan have multiple years working at the Wisconsin Dells KOA as workampers, and then as the store and maintenance managers.  They know they have huge shoes to fill taking over from Brandon. They look forward to seeing everyone at the campground in 2024!
