At Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday, we are committed to protecting the health and beauty of our trees, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment for all our guests. To support this effort, we strictly adhere to the Department of Natural Resources regulations regarding firewood.

Firewood Guidelines:

• Guests are restricted from bringing firewood from outside a 20-mile radius of the campground. This measure helps prevent the spread of invasive pests and diseases that can harm our trees.

• Firewood is available for purchase in the campground store for your convenience.

Prohibited Firewood Types:

• Lumber (construction materials, scraps, etc.)

• Treated wood (chemically treated materials, painted wood, or similar items)

Storage Requirements for Outside Firewood:

• Any firewood brought from outside the approved area must remain in your truck bed or camper storage and cannot be used unless it is properly wrapped and purchased locally from a certified vendor.

Why This Policy Matters:
By following these guidelines, you're helping to:

• Protect our trees from harmful pests and diseases.

• Maintain clean air by reducing the noxious smoke caused by burning treated or inappropriate wood.

• Preserve the natural beauty of our campground for future generations to enjoy.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in helping us safeguard our natural environment and create a safe and enjoyable camping experience for everyone.

As a family-owned campground, we understand that you want to have guests come to visit you at our campground and we are more than happy to have them.

• Guests must be off the campground by 10 pm to help keep noise and traffic levels down after hours.

Welcome to the Wisconsin Dells KOA. Nestled in the quiet woods just outside of the hustle and bustle of the waterpark capital of the world. You'll love it here!

Hey KOA Campers! My name is Eric Ravasz and I am absolutely ecstatic about welcoming you to the Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday. My goal is to provide our guests the finest camping experience possible. The team and I strive to make everything perfect during your stay.

I am originally from the Joliet, IL area and grew up coming to The Dells. This place holds a special place in my heart, with lots of great memories created here. Also, being a Green Bay Packers fan, I am beyond excited to be here in The Dells.

Before jumping in to the camping industry, I spent 10 years as a Merchant Marine, graduating from Maine Maritime Academy in 2011. That career has brought me around the World until the almighty Covid struck, to where I knew a change was needed. I sold my house and went full time in a 38ft Class A diesel pusher, hitting the road. Throughout the last 6 years, I have managed properties in Texas, Virginia, Washington, and now Wisconsin.

I appreciate each and every one of my guests that choose to stay here at the Wisconsin Dells KOA, so, if there is anything I can do to better your stay, please come see me. Thanks so much and happy camping!!!!!

-Eric J. Ravasz, General Manager
