Stopped for the night on the way home. It was quiet.

Short but sweet … while traveling east to Iowa out one night stay went exceptionally well at the KOA … I will always recommend it to travelers looking for a place to rest up for a night or longer … I will say this there are softball fields across Campers Lane so there might be some light incursion on days of ballgames … there weren’t any the night we stayed but I’d have enjoyed one

Quick stop when traveling through I80. Campground was well kept, had a great site and clean bathrooms. We’ll definitely be back next time!

Great location when traveling along 80. Walking distance to a couple of casinos

Pool was dirty

Site was okay but no good place to walk my dog. She got several goat heads in her feet while trying to walk her in the park.

Level spot and nice pool after a long hot drive. Dirt spots though (no gravel even) and pool closed at 8. Heard other people that pulled in late complain about it.

We just stayed overnight. It was so nice to have 50 amp and be able to keep our toad attached. Your check in staff was very upbeat and happy, always appreciated. Thank you!!

We've stayed at this KOA multiple times on our way from California to the east coast. It is nothing fancy, gravel with few trees and no lawn, but the office staff have always been friendly, and this time, for the first time, I used the pool to escape the brutal heat. The pool was clean and there is an outdoor shower for rinsing off afterwards.

Everything was great. My only suggestion is to plant some trees!!! We left a night earlier than planned because of the heat. If you had some trees, that would really help.

quiet, peaceful, staff nice

Park in the unlevel dirt. Not what you expect for the pricey KOA. After a long day on the road, all you want is a relaxing evening with good internet service. Only offered if you want to stand in their office/store. They charge extra for kids, so be aware.

A place to stay, that's all I can say.

Would have preferred full hookup even though I only stayed one night. However, I found it quiet, and staff friendly and helpful. I will stay again!

Gravel sites, mostly level. Only 6 50 amp pedestals in the whole campground; we were on a 30 amp that kept popping, only giving out 20 amps. Management could figure out what was wrong, so we had to move sites - This was a common issue with many campers around us. Pool had new surface, but dirty. Showers, it’s a shared shower hallway that has a door into the store; very uncomfortable.

Didn’t stay very long. Checked in after hours and there was a note with a map and our site. Services were great. Left early. Seemed like a great place to stay on the way to somewhere else

Perfect for an overnight stay.

Facilities were good, restrooms/ showers. Sites are pretty close together. Good for an overnight stay.

Only drawback was so many weeds. Dog run could have been kept up a little better. Fine for one night passing through.

Wendover KOA is a great overnight stopping point between Salt Lake City and Reno. Pull-thru, full service sites are spacious and easy to access. Casino are within walking distance of the Wendover KOA.

It is a nice place and easy to get to. The people were very nice. It was clean. I just wish that KOA would give a discount for Veterans or Firefighters a discount. You have to stay 3 times before you get any kind of discount.

It is very clean, the staff members are very personable and professional. I feel that the picnic tables should be sanded and repainted, and either grass or artificial lawn would be nice in the areas with the boxed in hookups. Otherwise this place is AWESOME. Thank you

The ladies were very friendly, and we stayed there when we were traveling through so we decided to stay on our way home. when I just wished that when you ask for a pull through that it would be long enough, so you don't have to unhook the tow.

Definitely desert. No grass or trees and nothing but dirt and weeds. Didn’t look or feel inviting, and offered nothing for our pets except stickers in his feet.

Very nice place to stay for a few days/nights. The staff is very good and takes care of the guests. This was the 3rd time for us to stay here and I'm sure we will be staying again. The only people who cause problems occasionally are the guest’s themselves.

At $51 for water/electric only, it is severely overpriced. Got there at 3:22 and the office was closed, note on door said back at 4pm. Clerk came back at 3:55. We found our site assignment on the door and went and parked. Decided to unhook because it was easier than getting out several stacks of levelers to raise the back. Did two loads of laundry, $3 per load, very reasonable. All machines were working. Washers are newer. Dryers are like from the 1970's but still work! Bathrooms screamed 1970's but were clean and everything was working, though all the drain stoppers had been removed. Showers were clean and did get hot, but be careful because the water gets scalding. Recreation room locked up and just being used for storage. Pool closed for season. Mini-Golf fell into disrepair and long since abandoned. The dumpster area doesn't have a dumpster, just 4 trash cans. Cheaper than a dumpster I guess. Walked by the cabins and peeked in, noticed how clean the windows all were. Everything is clean. But maintenance is neglected. Picnic tables are weather worn and peeling. Broken screens on cabins. Door to sink room broken. Some outside lights don't work and looks like copper has been stolen from some street lights. The place was mostly deserted, we were on the north side which is water/electric only and by morning there were just 3 occupied sites out of 6 entire rows. The full hook-up sites on the south side were fuller but there were still 4 empty rows. Maybe the place is more seasonal. Place is located behind the Red Garter Casino but is very quiet. There is a 'Night Watchman' booth at the entrance but it is abandoned. There is a yellow KOA standard sign on the wall with the phone number to the manager but it is so old that it doesn't have the area code. Not even sure if you could dial 7-digits and have a call connect? Went into the office once the clerk came back and got officially checked in. All the coolers and freezers in the store are empty and un-plugged. Very little for sale in the store. Again, maybe they are more seasonal. A young couple who were car camping came in and asked how much it was for just a shower and how much for a tent-site. $10 for a shower, $40 for a tent site. I almost invited them to pay for an extra vehicle and stay in our site but they left before I was done checking in. I felt bad for them. This place was only ever 20% occupied. I'd have given them a tent site with showers for $20 if I were that clerk. Adjacent to the park on the south side is another section of trailers and mobile homes for permanent residents. To be able to use the dump site you have to drive out via the in-lane. Then you have to go past the abandoned night watchman shack to turn around and drive back in via the out-lane. And whoever does maintenance is un-skilled. I saw several sidewalks with plumbing running on top of the original sidewalk and then more concrete slathered on top of that so that you don't trip on the pipes. Who does that?

Spring 2024 - My husband and I spent a few days at the Wendover KOA in early spring, so the park wasn't bustling with activity. While we didn't utilize many of the amenities on offer, we found it to be quiet with average interior roads and access easy to navigate, albeit showing signs of wear typical of many KOAs. Our AT&T cell service worked great.

We arrived after the office had closed. But after reading the reviews I wanted to meet the manager or owners. I met Lucy the manager. There was not many campers buy she had placed our camping spot with a space btwn us and the other camper, that was very considerate of her. Showers very clean and the water pressure was great. I give this spot a thumbs up! 👍
