We’ll we left after being there for an hour. Was advertised to have Wi-Fi but was told I’d have to come up and stand by the office to actually be able to use it. For the price we pay at KOAs they need to start providing what they are advertising. I’m on a trip around the US and staying at many KIAd. Almost every one has either no Wi-Fi, multiple bathrooms that were closed, pools that wer

There is nothing wrong with this KOA. It's a great place to stay, power, water worked great, nice long roomy site and good doggie run very near to the sites.

We had a short stopover, but will stay here again. Nice park, friendly staff & easy hook ups. If there is a negative, it’s that there are only 6-50 AMP sites. It would definitely be beneficial to have more.

It’s a Journey. Very basic. Clean & polite staff. No cable. Good for a one night stay.

Friendly staff, clean park enjoy watching military planes fly in and out

The pool was not heated. Took the putt putt for a dog walk. You need to change amenities write up so people don't think these are available.

Large area to walk about. Not much vegetation but well maintained. Flat sites and helpful staff.

Awesome as usual
Jun 09, 2022
Sites have not been re-leveled for quite awhile so they are unlevel.

Everything was very nice, very clean. Staff very helpful.

This is a pretty bare bones KOA. Very few trees and it didn't feel very secure. Showers were clean and adequate. WiFi was non existent.

Old and camp staff does not act on idiots making noise after midnight
Jun 06, 2022
Sites are gravel pits that are very unlevel. Wi-fi is really a joke. KOA could do a lot better than this. Very uninviting looking campground.

We were a late check in, everything we needed was posted on the door. Very clean restroom, laundry room. This is desert country so not any grass at sites but very clean property. Nice clean play area for kids and 2 off leash areas for our furry campers.

When we got there we met with Lucy. She was awesome. Was instrumental in helping us find POIs. Sites are spacious and rates reasonable.

Very convenient, clean, and we'll laid out.

Very quiet, friendly staff, quick to smile. Clean office/store and most importantly the bathrooms and showers are also very clean. Dog friendly with a dog area. Good location just a block from the main drag. Full hookups all were in perfect condition, we didn’t even have to level the rig. We recommend!

Nice place to hangout

Very very nice place. Warm welcome, the place is clean and we have a lot of place in the campground. Thank you to the manager Lucie . If all the KOA could be like this one.

Booked 2 sites only because under amenities pool was open as of 5/20 and free Wifi was included. Upon arrival we found out that pool was closed and WiFi only works around reception area. Complaining to Lucy, the manager, she said that price was based on hookups and NOT amenities. Why list and charge amenities if not provided? I do not book a hotel room only because bathroom has plumbing either!

It was good. Clean restroom & shower. Comfortable place to stay. It would be nice if the internet connection was better. It barely reached my area of the park.

We have stayed at KOA Wendover several times and enjoyed being there. The only negative thing was this last stay was we purchased ice from their store 3 times and each time the price was different. $3.50, $3.00, and $4.00 We thought this was a little weird. No big deal, just wanted to bring it to their attention. Had a good time.

Place was clean, but all gravel and very little shade. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was spotty at best.

The staff was very friendly and helpful - especially the fellow who filled our propane!

Anxious for a quiet, friendly, and clean break in our long trip that day and that's just what we found at Wendover KOA. Check in was easy and clerk was very friendly and informative. Space was level, restrooms and showers were very clean. The night was quiet but we were awakened by a loud roar which we thought was our doom but was just an airplane taking off. Surprise! Not a big problem for us

Overall our stay was good, would be better if the refrigerators worked and had food and beverages.

It's okay at best the lady at the front desk was nice. other than that, you never saw any staff, the place needs a lot of love/updating and cleaned up

We had a lovely time and the staff were wonderful.

Very clean, one of the cleanest we have ever stayed at. One thing I miss is the KOA's that have some sort of food. Cafe, chuck wagon, etc. Also there camping fee was reasonable. Also

At $51 for water/electric only, it is severely overpriced. Got there at 3:22 and the office was closed, note on door said back at 4pm. Clerk came back at 3:55. We found our site assignment on the door and went and parked. Decided to unhook because it was easier than getting out several stacks of levelers to raise the back. Did two loads of laundry, $3 per load, very reasonable. All machines were working. Washers are newer. Dryers are like from the 1970's but still work! Bathrooms screamed 1970's but were clean and everything was working, though all the drain stoppers had been removed. Showers were clean and did get hot, but be careful because the water gets scalding. Recreation room locked up and just being used for storage. Pool closed for season. Mini-Golf fell into disrepair and long since abandoned. The dumpster area doesn't have a dumpster, just 4 trash cans. Cheaper than a dumpster I guess. Walked by the cabins and peeked in, noticed how clean the windows all were. Everything is clean. But maintenance is neglected. Picnic tables are weather worn and peeling. Broken screens on cabins. Door to sink room broken. Some outside lights don't work and looks like copper has been stolen from some street lights. The place was mostly deserted, we were on the north side which is water/electric only and by morning there were just 3 occupied sites out of 6 entire rows. The full hook-up sites on the south side were fuller but there were still 4 empty rows. Maybe the place is more seasonal. Place is located behind the Red Garter Casino but is very quiet. There is a 'Night Watchman' booth at the entrance but it is abandoned. There is a yellow KOA standard sign on the wall with the phone number to the manager but it is so old that it doesn't have the area code. Not even sure if you could dial 7-digits and have a call connect? Went into the office once the clerk came back and got officially checked in. All the coolers and freezers in the store are empty and un-plugged. Very little for sale in the store. Again, maybe they are more seasonal. A young couple who were car camping came in and asked how much it was for just a shower and how much for a tent-site. $10 for a shower, $40 for a tent site. I almost invited them to pay for an extra vehicle and stay in our site but they left before I was done checking in. I felt bad for them. This place was only ever 20% occupied. I'd have given them a tent site with showers for $20 if I were that clerk. Adjacent to the park on the south side is another section of trailers and mobile homes for permanent residents. To be able to use the dump site you have to drive out via the in-lane. Then you have to go past the abandoned night watchman shack to turn around and drive back in via the out-lane. And whoever does maintenance is un-skilled. I saw several sidewalks with plumbing running on top of the original sidewalk and then more concrete slathered on top of that so that you don't trip on the pipes. Who does that?

Spring 2024 - My husband and I spent a few days at the Wendover KOA in early spring, so the park wasn't bustling with activity. While we didn't utilize many of the amenities on offer, we found it to be quiet with average interior roads and access easy to navigate, albeit showing signs of wear typical of many KOAs. Our AT&T cell service worked great.

We arrived after the office had closed. But after reading the reviews I wanted to meet the manager or owners. I met Lucy the manager. There was not many campers buy she had placed our camping spot with a space btwn us and the other camper, that was very considerate of her. Showers very clean and the water pressure was great. I give this spot a thumbs up! 👍
