Campsite was filthy dirty, trash in fire pit and all around picnic table. Went into office, two very young girls were on their cell phones running the place and didn’t seem to care. We were moved to another campsite which was also never cleaned. The pictures on the website are definitely not current, boards broken in the fence, picnic table broken, cannot recommend this place giving it a one sta

The KOA had all of the normal attributes, shower, restrooms, etc. However it is high dessert next to the salt flats. No trees that I could see. It is ok for a one night stay - as mine was. But can see no reason to stay longer unless you like to gamble which I don't

This is a very clean KOA. The spots are nice and the people in the office were great. There are places to eat within easy walking distance. I will definitely stay here again.

Plenty of room for our 43' 5th wheel and did not have to disconnect (although we did). Close to casinos and LARGE discount liquor store! We stocked up at the liquor store since previous month spent in Utah (State stores) heading to nothing but state stores for next two months. Yes we drink. A little dusty. Only con was no campground WiFi - only at clubhouse. However verizon & ATT were fine.

We needed to spend one night on our way through the area. It was easy to find, close to other food and services, but not noisy. It wasn’t a busy time, so it was nice they spaced everyone far apart. There is more space between sites than at many places, including a tree or bush - not common in the desert. The bathrooms were sparkling clean with extra shelves and hooks. I would stay here again.

Very clean bathrooms, there’s a pool, and the tent camp area (which we used) has a soft tent area and a shaded table. Short walk into the town, too!

We stayed overnight on our way home, it was convenient. Park was bigger than expected, nice site. I don't think I saw any grass, but the park was nice. Had some shade trees. Close to two casinos if you wanted some food and fun at night. It was quiet, I didn't hear the train or dog. I was $56 with my rewards so for full hookups and a nice overnight it was good.

Nice clean site, we only needed water and electric. It was a quick overnight stay. I was alittle surprised that the only discount offered is the KOA card, no AAA or SAM. Over all i would recommend the Wendover koa.

specifically asked if wifi was reliable. only reason we pulled in. within 30 minutes knew wifi had very poor service, but of course office was closed. absolute waste of my $ as we are "ompletely self contained and never even hooked up...only stayed because needed wifi. once at my dest I will be warning my fellow rivers on social sites to avoid you if they need reliable wifi.

Check in was quick and smooth. Site was adequate. Nice and Level, A bit tight for my 40’ class A. Had to unhitch my toad, and I left my slide in. Water pressure was decent, power stable. Access in and out of the site was generous. Exit from the campground was easy to maneuver with my 60’ combined length. Very quiet except for an occasional train. I would stay here again.

They closed the pool early. Said all signage was wrong for closing time. Otherwise everything was clean and well kept. No other issues.

This campground starts with the limitation of being in a desert location, and doesn't do much to improve on that reality. It's basically a gravel parking lot with a central facilities building and a small pool. There are a few small trees. But, there's nothing mitigating the dust. No grass, no vegetation. The facilities are clean, and office operations are efficient (I self registered).

Rated 3 only because we were asked not to run both AC units even in a 50 amp spot. In 100° weather. Customer service was friendly. Not much shade, but it is Eastern NV. A Plus is they are within walking distance of several restaurants in the casinos. With the heat, we opted for delivery from Fratelli’s which was good.

At $51 for water/electric only, it is severely overpriced. Got there at 3:22 and the office was closed, note on door said back at 4pm. Clerk came back at 3:55. We found our site assignment on the door and went and parked. Decided to unhook because it was easier than getting out several stacks of levelers to raise the back. Did two loads of laundry, $3 per load, very reasonable. All machines were working. Washers are newer. Dryers are like from the 1970's but still work! Bathrooms screamed 1970's but were clean and everything was working, though all the drain stoppers had been removed. Showers were clean and did get hot, but be careful because the water gets scalding. Recreation room locked up and just being used for storage. Pool closed for season. Mini-Golf fell into disrepair and long since abandoned. The dumpster area doesn't have a dumpster, just 4 trash cans. Cheaper than a dumpster I guess. Walked by the cabins and peeked in, noticed how clean the windows all were. Everything is clean. But maintenance is neglected. Picnic tables are weather worn and peeling. Broken screens on cabins. Door to sink room broken. Some outside lights don't work and looks like copper has been stolen from some street lights. The place was mostly deserted, we were on the north side which is water/electric only and by morning there were just 3 occupied sites out of 6 entire rows. The full hook-up sites on the south side were fuller but there were still 4 empty rows. Maybe the place is more seasonal. Place is located behind the Red Garter Casino but is very quiet. There is a 'Night Watchman' booth at the entrance but it is abandoned. There is a yellow KOA standard sign on the wall with the phone number to the manager but it is so old that it doesn't have the area code. Not even sure if you could dial 7-digits and have a call connect? Went into the office once the clerk came back and got officially checked in. All the coolers and freezers in the store are empty and un-plugged. Very little for sale in the store. Again, maybe they are more seasonal. A young couple who were car camping came in and asked how much it was for just a shower and how much for a tent-site. $10 for a shower, $40 for a tent site. I almost invited them to pay for an extra vehicle and stay in our site but they left before I was done checking in. I felt bad for them. This place was only ever 20% occupied. I'd have given them a tent site with showers for $20 if I were that clerk. Adjacent to the park on the south side is another section of trailers and mobile homes for permanent residents. To be able to use the dump site you have to drive out via the in-lane. Then you have to go past the abandoned night watchman shack to turn around and drive back in via the out-lane. And whoever does maintenance is un-skilled. I saw several sidewalks with plumbing running on top of the original sidewalk and then more concrete slathered on top of that so that you don't trip on the pipes. Who does that?

Spring 2024 - My husband and I spent a few days at the Wendover KOA in early spring, so the park wasn't bustling with activity. While we didn't utilize many of the amenities on offer, we found it to be quiet with average interior roads and access easy to navigate, albeit showing signs of wear typical of many KOAs. Our AT&T cell service worked great.

We arrived after the office had closed. But after reading the reviews I wanted to meet the manager or owners. I met Lucy the manager. There was not many campers buy she had placed our camping spot with a space btwn us and the other camper, that was very considerate of her. Showers very clean and the water pressure was great. I give this spot a thumbs up! 👍
