Everything was great, the grounds were clean and the utilities worked well. The bathroom and restrooms were very clean and well kept up. This KOA is in town so within walking distance of everything. The wi-fi was not good but cell service was very good so that was not an issue. I will definitely stay again when passing though.

There were tons of flies, the fence they had by the playground was wire and had no lights so my child got hurt on it. The bathrooms are so far from the cabins it made it ridiculous, we will get a room at a casino next time.

Folks at the office were friendly and helpful. The site we parked at was good. We were treated well and the entire facility was clean and neat.

Good size space and plenty of maneuvering room. Friendly check in staff. Park seemed run down.

Grounds were well kept, staff was helpful and friendly. The laundry was convenient and clean. It is walking distance from casinos and there is a designated recreation hall on the property There were two dog park areas and a designated dog walk with provided bags. The only upgrade for the dog run would be a different type of gravel / base material and removing the sticker vegetation

People were friendly. Picnic table at our site is falling apart, BBQ pit was full of pre burnt ashes/partial logs, picnic tables at some other sites were just not placed on level ground, bathroom sinks did not have any kind of stopper in them so if your ring came off and went down the drain it would be gone forever, the shower curtains really aren’t wide enough to cover the shower door opening.

Bathrooms were great. Too bad an out the flies but nothing that you can do.

When we checked in, the KOA office/store was immaculate - right there a plus. The grounds were very clean and well maintained as were the restrooms and showers. For being in a windswept, sandy location we were pleased with this KOA!!

Staff was not friendly…garbage can was full…flies everywhere…more trees would be nice … oh and very weak WiFi… we couldn’t wait to leave!

Pulled in without reservations after a long day on the road. The representative that greeted me was extremely helpful and very professional. Would stay here again.

Well, let’s just say we did not feel like a valued KOA member. We wanted to avoid traveling during “an extreme heat warning” day and checked in before their 3pm check in time (isn’t this a little late?) AND were charged a $10 early check-in fee. We have been a member for many years and have never been charged an early fee.

Easily located, level sites, clean facility. It is all gravel & not shady.

This was our 3rd stay this year! The only issue we had was another camper riding his atv/utv and leaving it running. It was rumbling our trailer.

We have stayed here many times and it’s always been a clean comfy park. The one down side on this trip was that the garbage in the dog area had not been emptied for days I would guess. It was to full for the lid to stay on, and the flies were horrendous, not too mention the odor. Pets traveling with there humans are a big thing. This was a disappointment, so we walked the parkway instead.

Very basic campground. You get a spot to park and that’s about it. The pool is alright but not much else.

September 4, 2022, I was going to do dishes and somebody turned off our water. Had to go back outside to turn the water back on. Had to use the restroom, but it was closed due to a faulty toilet that flooded the restroom. September 5, 2022, got ready to go home when we discovered someone flattened our trailer tire. Had to limp to a gas station to fill it back up. It's been fine since.

Everything was great, except there are goat heads (puncture vine) popping up at nearly every campsite and many other places. It needs to be erradicated ASAP! I know it's hard, but to let it go at all spells disaster. Good luck! I've been battling it for 2 decades.

No shade. Electricity didn’t work- used neighbors. Showers failing- had to find one that was working. Great location. Needs up keeping

Wi-Fi was not good That is important to me Otherwise it was good

Nice place but they had full-to-the-brim trash can of dog poop, some of it not in dog bags! That means flies were a big nuisance. I have an outside kitchen so that meant I couldn’t cook breakfast and had to rush out of there.

It worked well as an overnight stop for our journey. Sites need some leveling work as well. Advertised as “level” sites.

Lots of dirt! No trees. Very clean & quiet.
Aug 29, 2022
One of the only KOA that had a pool that was working.
Aug 29, 2022
Check in was Quick and easy and that’s about where it ended. The showers are so tiny, We had a 50 amp and you could smell sewer the air around you the dump hoses weren’t tight around the opening. We had family staying in the cabins and when we went up there, there was no bathrooms you had to go back to the office. Reflectors are needed on the cable around the play ground. The pool was great.

I called to make reservation and asked about the electrical problem. They said if we only had one ai air conditioner we would not have any problems. Once we hooked up, running the air conditioner we used our microwave and blew their fuse to our rig. When I called to let them know, they said I shouldn't run my microwave at the same time as my air conditioner. Ridiculous! What an embarrassment to

nice facility, friendly staff; I miss grass.

Quick overnight park was clean

Fly city. I mean the bug flies. You would think KOA would hang bags to eliminate the problem. Can’t sit outside or eat for sure. Next issue no security and we had one group in the b wing that party like a big dog till 4 am. Drinking, swearing loud! We were waiting for a fight to break out or maybe their guns???

Close to town. Friendly staff. Large place but relatively quiet.

Ivette was kind and courteous when we checked in. The park is very dusty with a lot of flies - might be the time of year. Of course, the flies are not the park's fault. The dust, on the other hand, could be fixed with a layer or two of gravel. The pet walks have no grass and no shade (the baseball/softball diamonds and soccer field across the street have nice green grass). Great water pressure!

Only stayed one night as passing through. Store and office was dirty/disorganized. The refrigerated section was almost empty with towels on the floor; when asked if the refrigerators were broken, she said "no, we just don't stock many items during the off season". This was still in the middle of August?

At $51 for water/electric only, it is severely overpriced. Got there at 3:22 and the office was closed, note on door said back at 4pm. Clerk came back at 3:55. We found our site assignment on the door and went and parked. Decided to unhook because it was easier than getting out several stacks of levelers to raise the back. Did two loads of laundry, $3 per load, very reasonable. All machines were working. Washers are newer. Dryers are like from the 1970's but still work! Bathrooms screamed 1970's but were clean and everything was working, though all the drain stoppers had been removed. Showers were clean and did get hot, but be careful because the water gets scalding. Recreation room locked up and just being used for storage. Pool closed for season. Mini-Golf fell into disrepair and long since abandoned. The dumpster area doesn't have a dumpster, just 4 trash cans. Cheaper than a dumpster I guess. Walked by the cabins and peeked in, noticed how clean the windows all were. Everything is clean. But maintenance is neglected. Picnic tables are weather worn and peeling. Broken screens on cabins. Door to sink room broken. Some outside lights don't work and looks like copper has been stolen from some street lights. The place was mostly deserted, we were on the north side which is water/electric only and by morning there were just 3 occupied sites out of 6 entire rows. The full hook-up sites on the south side were fuller but there were still 4 empty rows. Maybe the place is more seasonal. Place is located behind the Red Garter Casino but is very quiet. There is a 'Night Watchman' booth at the entrance but it is abandoned. There is a yellow KOA standard sign on the wall with the phone number to the manager but it is so old that it doesn't have the area code. Not even sure if you could dial 7-digits and have a call connect? Went into the office once the clerk came back and got officially checked in. All the coolers and freezers in the store are empty and un-plugged. Very little for sale in the store. Again, maybe they are more seasonal. A young couple who were car camping came in and asked how much it was for just a shower and how much for a tent-site. $10 for a shower, $40 for a tent site. I almost invited them to pay for an extra vehicle and stay in our site but they left before I was done checking in. I felt bad for them. This place was only ever 20% occupied. I'd have given them a tent site with showers for $20 if I were that clerk. Adjacent to the park on the south side is another section of trailers and mobile homes for permanent residents. To be able to use the dump site you have to drive out via the in-lane. Then you have to go past the abandoned night watchman shack to turn around and drive back in via the out-lane. And whoever does maintenance is un-skilled. I saw several sidewalks with plumbing running on top of the original sidewalk and then more concrete slathered on top of that so that you don't trip on the pipes. Who does that?

Spring 2024 - My husband and I spent a few days at the Wendover KOA in early spring, so the park wasn't bustling with activity. While we didn't utilize many of the amenities on offer, we found it to be quiet with average interior roads and access easy to navigate, albeit showing signs of wear typical of many KOAs. Our AT&T cell service worked great.

We arrived after the office had closed. But after reading the reviews I wanted to meet the manager or owners. I met Lucy the manager. There was not many campers buy she had placed our camping spot with a space btwn us and the other camper, that was very considerate of her. Showers very clean and the water pressure was great. I give this spot a thumbs up! 👍
