We stayed for 3 nights over 4th of July weekend. The campground was nice and had some fun activities. I would bump my rating up to 5* if the bathrooms/showers were kept in better condition. Seemed like there were plenty of people working the campground so staffing was not an issue.

It rained Saturday, i bought weather protection and have not received anything back. It rained a lot. I was told my daughter and granddaughter could not come visit us for the day, because it was a holiday. We didn't want to use your services with them there, we just wanted to cook for them and make smores so we were disappointed by that. The beach was not very big, and very mossy.

There for the 4th of July. Campground is clean. Appreciated the shuttle to the water and Theme parks. Fireworks were great.

We have been camping here since 2014 we normally enjoy staying here, this time let us down. We got the neighbors to the north pull in had two tents on their site and trash everywhere. We did call front desk they said they would let management know. That must not of happen we had to keep picking up the neighbors trash all weekend that blew into our area.

We like the Waterloo KOA, however it is not as well kept as it used to be, the grass was very long in the patio area of our campers and we found three different Tick's on our grandkids while playing, we have 8 grandkids, the oldest being 8 years old. Also,our picnic table had a board missing on the table side. Randy Mitchell

We had a great time. Fireworks were amazing and the breakfast on Sunday was great. We also enjoyed the food truck.

The sites are a nice size, but our fire pit was about two feet out of the ground so we didn’t use it. The water in the showers is scalding hot. How can anyone shower? Why can’t one adjust their own shower temperature? I would like a cold shower after a hot day but my kids couldn’t even shower in the bathroom. They showered in the hose. Most KOA campgrounds have more to do.

We were disappointed that they had a fishing lake for us to swim in the bath houses were dirty and they didn’t have a person to come and pick up garbage

We had a fun time while at the kOA it was difficult due to the weather and the activities you had planned and we had planned with our family there. It is definitely a KOA set up for kids.

Did not care for our campsite. Very difficult to sit around the fire due to being on a hill and having young children. Also wasn't able to flush our gray or black tanks due to the sewer line going up hill.Would not recommend campsite 71 to anyone.Went up the day we got there to see about moving sites due to our concerns with the firepit and our kids and was told couldn't due to how long we stayed

We LOVE KOA campground and camp here often! We especially love the event weekends but we were a little disappointed this year with the movie being inside the pavilion. We really look forward to an outdoor movie under the stars. This is also the first year we were maybe 15 minutes late and they had ran out of popcorn. It is hard to see the movie and the picnic tables are not comfortable.

Very disappointed in the movie event. It was inside with picnic tables and they ran out of popcorn. It used to be outside on the grass and you brought your own chairs. All could see that way and there was always plenty of popcorn.

Our site did not have a picnic table and the park staff would not bring us one so we had to carry one from another site over 300 feet in 90 degree heat.

Our site was not level which was unfortunate. However the bathhouses were inexcusable. They were filthy. There is no ventilation or temperature control so in the heat it was a hotbox inside. The water won’t stay on unless you push a button in which it will stay on for 20 seconds at a time. The buttons were hard to push and impossible for children. We will never return to this KOA.

Great place for family fun and relaxation. From the he staff to the swimming beach, just top notch. The trail around the lake is awesome for the doggo's. And having a fueling station on site is genius.

This is one of the nicest KOAs we’ve been to. So many activities, including a swimming lake, gem panning, fishing and big spacious sites.

Pretty amazing place, ton of stuff for the kids to do. My only issue was the bathrooms/shows hadn’t been cleaned in the 3 days we were there. But, would definitely stay again.

We never saw any employees in yellow shirts driving around to pick up trash, see if everything was ok? We ordered pizza & it wasn’t delivered to our site. That was the first time we had to go pick it up! Just wasn’t enough staff. Bathrooms were not cleaned up to KOA standards. The beach is nice, always good to have full hook ups. We enjoyed the water park too. Need more staff!

Dog poop in camp fire ring, under staffed, no escort to site like other KOA's, no pizza delivery, no pool/hot tub, playground has some deferred maintenance, beach was nice, convenient to Lost Island, so guessing they rely on proximity to Lost Island. Zach was a trooper and came and cleaned up the previous camper's dog poop from our fire ring.

We got a site with a patio and it was definitely worth the extra money. We had a great location in the park, close to the beach and close to the bathrooms. We came in a camper van and it was our first time using it. We learned a few things but it was overall a great experience and this campground is really nice. We will definitely be back as we have family in the area to visit.

This RV resort has the potential to be amazing. It’s a beautiful place and the spots are spacious. The people working here just give the vibe of not caring. They don’t answer the phone or return calls and you really just get the minimum from them. The WIFI is a joke so don’t count on that. The golf course near by is beautiful.

Our experience wasn't great. The spot we were assigned was very close to the one next us and lacked shade in the evening. The fire ring (which we had planned to use for cooking dinner) was positioned in an odd place and was sunken in on one side, rusty, overgrown with weeds, and CONTAINED TRASH FROM A PREVIOUS CAMPER. The price was too expensive for what we received.

Had to find our spot, which was a pull thru that was not very level side to side. Restroom/shower was clean but very hot. Campground needed mowed badly.

If you have kids, this place is 5 star. It is like staying in Disneyland's parking lot with lots of free things to do. Fantastic. If you are old and want peace, quiet, shade, crickets singing and KOA quality bathrooms, then 4 stars. I mean the bathrooms were better than 90% of RV parks, but with 100 kids using them, hard to keep up.

This is a very large and well maintained campground. The sites were all level and large. We did not use the amenities based on being so close to the water and adventure parks but the beach etc looked nice. The pricing cannot be beat for full hookup sites.

Went to the theme park and then stayed the night in a pop-up camper. We had a blast! Very easy to check in, the campground was clean, and there was plenty to do to keep even my toddler occupied. I appreciate the convivence store, it gave me piece of mind knowing there was a place to pick up last minute items.
