Grass was very long. Swim "island" very overgrown Needs more maintenance. Only real reason for stay was proximity to Lost Island. With a Class A there is no way to get there other than to walk down a county road. You should consider partnering with those area attractions and providing a shuttle to the water and theme parks and casino.

Great facility. I’ve stayed here several times over the years. Had a maintenance issue during our stay, that happens, but they took care of us, and we appreciate that.

We reserved a pull thru site for the night. The site layout meant that we had to unhook our toad it was very short. After hook up. We tried to hook up to the cable and then the internet. Neither worked! We called the office and we told that we should try over the air for tv, this cable was not good and the internet was what it w…. Unusable ! Overall not what we paid for!!!!! Not a real happy camper. The sewer connection was far away from the rest of the connections and was higher than the outlet on my rig. Lot of trouble emptying tanks. The wifi was terrible too. Campground was clean.

Google maps took us to the water park. Not good with a mh towing. Site row signage confused us and we went down the wrong row. Some trees need to be trimmed.

Stay was good but due to the Canadian geese you had to watch where you stepped- other wise good location and nice site.

Very hilly and most sites are hard to level for a 45 foot rig. Campground helped us find a better site after first night as the one we were assigned originally was too short and we were tipped to one side.

Rest rooms filthy. Site pads full of weeds. Our cable TV was not working. Called office and was told cable was spotty at best and that we should use wifi or antenna. This is not a resort facility nor up to koa srandards

Park was very nice. We used the beach area. Wish the depth of water would be marked in different areas. Loved that it had the chairs and beach umbrellas! Playground was nice. Please add another for a bit older kids like 7 to 9 year olds. Only downside was laundry and bathrooms had big bettle type bugs in the sinks, on floors and countertops. That was a turn off. Camping site was great.

Had a wonderful time at this KOA. very clean and very friendly & helpful employees. We were offered an escort to our site. We would certainly stay again when in this area.

We had wonderful stays, both at the beginning and end of a 5-week trip! What a lovely surprise on the 2nd visit, July 6th, to discover that there would be a fireworks show in celebration of Independence Day! It was well done and enjoyed by all. We also enjoyed the discounted tickets to the waterpark…we needed to cool down after a LONG drive! We’ll be back on the next western trip for us.

Campground checkin was confusing as there is no sign when you enter to check in at the Convenient Store. Bathrooms (Woman and Mens) need more attention. They were not bad but lots of bugs and spider webs. Got lost trying to find campground because Google Maps took us to a Mobile Home Community. We used three different GPS apps and the La Porte address. None of them could get us to the park. Maybe look into notifying folks about the best address or better directions to the park.

We stay here every Fourth of July weekend and every year we have a blast! Fun activities with a bounce house, slide and the beach! We also went to the theme park for a day, and wow - it was an amazing experience! Can’t recommend enough!

Great 4th of July fireworks! My kids loved the bouncy house and bubble slide and slip n' slide! These extras are why we make the reservation for the 4th of July weekend, and everyone is very friendly, staff and other campers!

Second time staying and we enjoyed again. It's great for group camping with the spacious spots, beach, and water/amusement parks. Love the split dog park, and was able to do laundry quickly before heading to the next place.

Add a swimming Pool, not everyone wants to swim in the Pond with the Carp. Too many kids driving golf carts too fast with no adults.

The Fourth of July weekend festivities were great! That said, the campground itself is pretty pitiful! The campsights on the hills had the sewer inlet UPHILL from where the camping vehicle had to park, and any plumber can tell you sh#* will not run up hill!! And talk about a parking lot! In a few years some of the campsites might have shade, but this place was designed to be an RV PARKING LOT!

our first koa resort and at first appearance it looked great super large huge property 66 acres gas station beautiful front building go in the door 1 person checking campers, taking care of store and handling gas prbm This is the first ever koa that did not have escort as time goes by the property was in much need of landscaping saw 2 ppl cutting for 3 hrs bath need cleaning need more ppl to work

Nice campground. Quite large with a lot of roads to sites. I did not receive a guide to the site and took me several tries to find my spot. I would ask for a ranger to take you to your site if you are heading to the full hookup pull through sites. Otherwise no complaints.

For a resort level KOA, I am disappointed. The staff when checking in seem inconvenienced. There should be an escort to the site. Even small ones do.

The staff was great, and the check-in was great. I come back to this campground once a year. I like its location, that it has a store and a gas station with diesel.

Perfect spot if you plan to attend Lost Island Waterpark/Theme park. Only negative would be the showers - it’s the push to have the water running for a time limit. Although those kinds are annoying, my real concern was for my kids (ages 8 and 6). The push button was high up so they didn’t have the strength to push it.

This campground is one of our favorites! The restrooms are always clean. The employees are so nice, helpful, and accommodating. We love KOA Lost Island and will continue coming back year after year! Thank you!

Beautiful campground, level sites, pull thru site had everything easily accessible. Nice lake , plenty of walking areas. Great water pressure.

We stayed here doing a cross country road trip. We didn't get there until after dark. Our online registration had gotten mixed up, but the onsite person took good care of us, and even took us to our site. He was very appreciated! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
