The only thing I would say is I would like to see a better playground for all ages. There are no swings or anything for real little kids 3 and under. Otherwise nice campground.

It was beautiful, clean and the nicest staff. We got lost in Lost Island, it was perfect and I don’t think people realize this gem in Waterloo.

The bathroom and laundry room were covered with bugs. The swimming beach had goose poop and feathers all over. The office staff could not answer whether the lake water was monitored for bacteria, so we did not feel comfortable to swim. We would have preferred a pool. The campground layout was good.

The entire staff has an attitude problem, not welcoming at all. No Smiles, no Hello's, Nothing. It just seemed like all customers were a burden to them, instead of being guests. Guests we all are, and we have many choices. I will not recommend, nor return there again.

Nice campground, not very many employees compared to other KOAs. Beach was full of goose waster and pond full of moss.

I love how beautiful and clean the park is. The sites are so spacious. The beach is clean and the trail is relaxing and pretty packed with wildflowers. I love the attention to detail in the garden at the store. Gas station is such a great idea for campers! The employees were very helpful and sweet. Water park was a surprise and absolutely wonderful!

They were closing 1 hour early did not send me a message about it. Could not find my spot got help from a camper and at 225 am had to go and replug my cord to socket for power it fell out. The girls at the desk were in a big hurry to leave I will not stay again

We went swimming at the little lake. The kids rode their electric scooters down. A teenager attempted to steal them. We told an employee and they said he is a problem every year. Why do you allow them to stay? Didn't feel safe after that situation and nothing being done. Site was nice but it was a haul to get up to the store. Store was clean and employees were friendly.

Our fourth time here. We like and know the area. However, this KOA continues to do the bare minimum in regards to upkeep, especially for a KOA Resort. Please take more care of this facility! Our fire ring had trash in it, bathrooms continue to have insects, and beach needs TLC. We want to be back, and each year we hope for better care of what could be an amazing campground. You can do better!

Great campground with lots of activities for families. Sites are wide and easy to access. Campground is located on a lake and has a beach. Didn't try it ourselfs, but the families there looked like they were having fun. Located next to a water park and an amusement park if your family needs more to do. The office has a well stocked store and a grill that delivers food items to your site.

we were back in Waterloo for a family reunion and this park was our first choice. It's kept clean and well kept.

The grounds were very well kept. Loved the fishing pond! The breakfast on Sunday morning was delicious! The laundry facility does not have a change machine and one of the dryers was not working. My only suggestion is to train the front desk staff to be more friendly. While they performed their jobs accurately they did not seem happy about it and at times annoyed that were were asking questions.

Convenient location, spacious sites, nice lake and beach, water park and amusement park close. It was an overnight stop for us but would come back for a longer stay.

What a great campground. We were just passing through but if have more time would stay longer. I would ask that you put garbage or dog waste cans around the park more. And it’s clear you just need another garbage dumpster and not a recycling one as no one uses the recycling and the other was way over flowing.

We were only there for one night but everything looked really fun! The dog run was well maintained and it was nice to have a decent sized store and gas station on site.

Our campsite was fine but cabin DK18 had several issues. The TV did not work for one day and the couch leg went through the floor. Also the shower appeared to be leaking under the base so humidity in the cabin was high.

This is our 3rd year staying at your campground and going to the water park and theme park. Our family has a great time at all facilities. Friendly, helpful, happy staff. My grandkids love the theme park and meeting the characters. All sites are clean and well maintained. The parks also have really good food.

The campground was clean and the spots are large! We could not sit outside at night because the bugs were so bad. That was disappointing as we planned to cook many meals and dessert on the fire. We will likely not return due to the bugs. We have stayed at many other campgrounds that spray.

Best Campground I've stayed at to-date! Staff was very friendly, it's very clean, so much for everyone to do plus super close to the waterpark and theme park! Loved every minute of our stay there last weekend! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our visit! We were disappointed that the “island” wasn’t kept up. We expected it to be accessible and have an additional beach area versus it being overgrown with weeds and brush. We also would have enjoyed having a jump pad for the kids.

after we hooked our 50 amp service up we lost 1 air conditioner and outlets. Thought it was my camper. hooked up my thirty amp up and got all our outlets back and the air conditioner that wouldn't work. Realized it was the electric box the next day. we contacted the front desk and a fellow came by and put a new 50 amp breaker in and everything was back to normal. People were all friendly. We will

Grass was very long. Swim "island" very overgrown Needs more maintenance. Only real reason for stay was proximity to Lost Island. With a Class A there is no way to get there other than to walk down a county road. You should consider partnering with those area attractions and providing a shuttle to the water and theme parks and casino.

Great facility. I’ve stayed here several times over the years. Had a maintenance issue during our stay, that happens, but they took care of us, and we appreciate that.

We reserved a pull thru site for the night. The site layout meant that we had to unhook our toad it was very short. After hook up. We tried to hook up to the cable and then the internet. Neither worked! We called the office and we told that we should try over the air for tv, this cable was not good and the internet was what it w…. Unusable ! Overall not what we paid for!!!!! Will not be bac

This campground is one of our favorites! The restrooms are always clean. The employees are so nice, helpful, and accommodating. We love KOA Lost Island and will continue coming back year after year! Thank you!

Beautiful campground, level sites, pull thru site had everything easily accessible. Nice lake , plenty of walking areas. Great water pressure.

We stayed here doing a cross country road trip. We didn't get there until after dark. Our online registration had gotten mixed up, but the onsite person took good care of us, and even took us to our site. He was very appreciated! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
