Could not get internet to pick up/work in cabin (#18) kept kicking us off or so low you couldnt do anything. cabin 18 could have better drainage for when it rains. entire walkway &firepit area flood Fire pit had previous person's trash that we had to remove to use panel on bathroom counter was falling off (just under the mirror, above the sink) Loved activities planned & things to do. We love staying at the Waterloo KOA! The staff are very helpful, the cabin is always clean and ready, and it’s such a great location for keeping the kids entertained!

My Great grand kids had a wonderful time. I always get the big cabin so we have lots of room. The only thing we missed was spoons. There were 4 baby spoons only. But I purchased 8 soup-cereal spoons and 1 large serving spoon. Should be there next year! No problems and the weather was nice, not too hot and certainly not cold. Had no issues after we finally found the sheets for the beds.

We definitely felt targeted this year - we are a large group for a family reunion. This was our second year - the first year was great. This year we got told not to park by the cabins, my son stayed in a hotel and came to visit for the day and had his dog with him and he was stopped while WALKING that the dog was not allowed in the cabin. Deposits were excessively withheld - we won’t be back

Being charged $150 bucks for maintenance and a towel is so out of touch it's crazy. Then being told several funds had to be spent to replace things in my cabin only to see a freaking towel is all that had to he replaced is insane. Supervisor was rude. Never ever ever staying here. Use to come once a year but never again. Better amenities and service at a hotel for cheaper.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin over the 4 th of July weekend,it was so much fun we had had family from Chicago come visit us ,on July 6 th there was fire works some of the best fireworks,Matt Amy,staff did a great job keeping everyone safe,we will be back next year

Cabin was great! Tv was not the best in both don’t know if signal was off or what but the picture for them both wasn’t the best- we did have a wasp nest above the door and a few of us got stung but luckily those that are allergic didn’t get stung- those 2 things were the only issues- Our families love getting together there and has a great setup for littles too

Fireworks were awesome. Best we’ve seen there in the years we’ve been coming. Should definitely use that same company again. Could start them a little earlier like 9:30 1st time we attended pancake breakfast. Food was great. Need more chairs at the beach area. Internet connection was spotty. We truly had a wonderful stay. Our cabin was perfect, AC worked well. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Lots for the kids to do. It really keeps them off the electronics! The fireworks show was next level amazing! Thanks for a perfect holiday! #memoriesmade

We have been staying at this campground for of a number of years now.We usually rent 6-8 of the cabins and 2-3 families camp with a camper.I would say the cabins are in dire need of maintenance and up keep!It is sad to see this great resource go attended.

The resort was very clean and family friendly. My grandchildren enjoyed fishing in the lake. The Proprietors Matt and Aimee were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The fireworks show was amazing this year. This is the third year that we booked our 4th of July celebration at KOA. We plan on making this a family tradition since we have always had a great time at the Waterloo KOA park.

I’ve been here many times and I tell others every time I’ve stayed, this is just one of those places that’s a a bit different than other places. The staff everybody that keeps up on the grounds, do such amazing job. of making sure all needs are taken care of. Simply put it’s, amazing.

I’m amazed every time I come here, the staff is awesome. Everybody is so helpful. Matt and Aimee are awesome. The grounds are kept up with, The lake is beautiful. It seems like every time I go doesn’t matter who else is there everybody gets along.. good conversation, good energy. I love this place.

Several items in the cabin, either didn’t work at all or were in desperate need of repair or replacement. 1- main TV showed an error that it didn’t have a signal. 2- toilet seat very loose. Surprised no one fell off it. 3- surface light on microwave didn’t work 4- unable to find switch that controlled ceiling fan. Otherwise the cabin was very clean upon our arrival and air condition

This is a very large and well maintained campground. The sites were all level and large. We did not use the amenities based on being so close to the water and adventure parks but the beach etc looked nice. The pricing cannot be beat for full hookup sites.

Went to the theme park and then stayed the night in a pop-up camper. We had a blast! Very easy to check in, the campground was clean, and there was plenty to do to keep even my toddler occupied. I appreciate the convivence store, it gave me piece of mind knowing there was a place to pick up last minute items.
