We had a great stay!! We traveled from Wisconsin and would have really loved to been able to get into the cabin before 3:00 in the afternoon. Funny when checking in, my husband went in to get the key. The girl at the desk told him she couldn’t give him the key until 3:00.He said you do realize it is 4 min. to 3:00 right?? She said “I guess I can give it to you” not exactly very friendly.

We stayed in a cabin and it was perfect for our family! It was quiet at night and very peaceful. Perfect location close to the water park and new theme park. We recommend all three! KOA, water park and the theme park! Will be returning again next year.

This was our 6th year bringing our grandkids. We all love the cabins and the water park. Unfortunately, the KOA lake was super low that the kids did not want to swim in it. The shower house was clean, and it was a great trip for us!

Great location for a large family to gather with the cabins BUT the cabins need many updates. We have been coming to KOA Waterloo for several years and the facilities notice the deterioration. The cabins are not cheap to rent so KOA needs to put some money into the cabins.

It was perfect for our family! There was shopping, dining, the water park and theme park, golf and a casino—all within about a 5 min drive from the campground! The cabins were cute and perfect! As well as the lake! We were able to swim and fish and overall, had a great time! I have recommended this campground to lots of people already!

We had a wonderful time! Such a great place for families and adults with all of the surrounding entertainment venues. Our group had 5 campsites and 3 cabins. The only thing I would recommend for improvement is putting more details on the website, such as need to bring trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper, etc., but definitely highly recommend this place for vacation. Need better Wi-Fi. Thanks, KOA!

We stayed in a deluxe cabin for the weekend of july 4th,at Waterloo Koa campground,want to give special shout out to Matt & Amy,and staff made our weekend the best,swimming in the lake,fishing,and a giant water slide to cool things off, and of corse the best fire works,clean and safe area for kids and families,thanks again for an awesome time see you next year.

This was our 3rd year at this campground. We enjoyed our time there but noticed the cleanliness and maintenance of our cabin was not good. There were lights out, the cook top didn’t work, and it didn’t appear the blinds in the door worked properly. The cabin was filthy. I had to clean spilled soap, dried up toothpaste, the toilet, splattered food. I shouldn’t have to clean after other camper

We stayed for 3 nights. Had a great time. Spent all of our time at the campground. 4 teenage boys Dad grandparents. We stay every year. Water had a lot of algae. 8 person cabin should get more parking spots than a 4 person cabin. We had fun. We will be back! Thank You

Everything was great. The only thing that I would say anything about, is that we were not told about the water activities that were available or fishing or anything like that. I believe that this should be a part of the registration process so we would have known that they were available and how to use them. Also, about the fact that waterpark tickets are cheaper with stay.

Our family booked a cabin at Waterloo KOA because of the close proximity to the water park. Unfortunately, we found the cabins on this KOA property are not maintained properly and dirty.

We really enjoy this campground. We choose it every year for our family reunion. We like that we can all stay whether we are staying in camper, tent, need a cabin, or just stopping by for the day. The only thing I would change is we would like to have two keys for each cabin. That would be helpful.

The area/land is beautiful but you can tell they don’t keep up with it like they should. There’s lots of places with overgrown grass and an insane amount of geese poop. They have a cute little beach area but the sand hurts when you walk on it. The cabin we had was very clean but the beds we’re awful. We ended up leaving early because we just couldn’t stand to sleep on the bed another night

Only issue was the two TV’s had one remote with no back on it and no batteries. Neither TV worked. But the place was very clean and was a fun place to stay with the family! Will be back.

Our stay was great! We hope to make this a yearly thing for our family, it was a great time!! There were some things not working in the cabin that we rented, we let the folks working know and they seemed to know about it already. Like the stove top, not working. They did have skillet in there, but thats not really the same as a stove top, so it would have been nice to have that working.

We rented the deluxe cabin in May,13-14,it was a warm weekend,we had fun,we fished,they swam in the lake,yes in May,the water toys weren't out yet but we still had fun,Thanks to Matt and Amy,and staff for a wonderful weekend.HappyCampers�

Our cabin had only 1 heater that worked so it was cold, the mattress wasn’t very comfortable, hot water only partially worked in shower and the fan/vent didn’t work in the bathroom either. No soap for the bathroom. Wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great either.

Did you like 10 dollar fee for in person reservation there was 2 people available when we signed up camp ground was very nice there was less activities this year

Stayed at RV site towards the front. Nice level site. Site by hill aren't leveled/cut down. Slant down with hill. Saw gas or diesel pumps on site.

Very well maintained and attractive facility. Close to attractions, entertainment, groceries, and the highway. Over all pretty quiet, some occasional road noise. Sites are level and relatively spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but not bothersome. Price is a bit higher than other areas nearby. Overall I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again.
