There’s not a lot of places you can go and get the hospitality and support, Amy and Matt are awesome helpful kind and accommodating, they make the stay comfortable and the experience is just what it should be a safe environment of relaxation.

The refrigerator was very noisy. The pavilion sink was dirty and faucet was broke. We love the location but the upkeep leaves alot to be desired this past visit. The cost to stay went up and yet the amenities weren't taken care of. Please do better.

We enjoyed our cabin; however, the air conditioner in the main room quit working and we had an uncomfortable night and partial day. Otherwise, we always look forward to staying at the KOA campground in Waterloo.

Experience was good. Cabin does need a need lock though as avoided locking when away due to key getting stuck each time but this is our 4th year in the yellow cabins and enjoy it each time

For the price of the cabins a lot of work needs to be done including new beds. It’s a great place for large extended families to gather, especially with little kids. The water park next door is a wonderful perk and the major reason we come here.

The cabin that we stayed in needed a bit of cleaning when we arrived. The shower had hair all over it, surfaces needed to be wiped down, and the fridge needed cleaning before we were able to settle in. Additionally, the carbon monoxide detector was missing batteries. I let the staff at the office know and they told us a maintenance person would be out, but we never saw them.

6 person camping cabin was ok. Coffee maker did not work, toilet, shower and sink in the bathroom was dirty still. Not enough pillows for 6 people. Bunk beds only had a blanket and fitted sheets, no top sheet. Futon bed I folded open and there was sand all on it. Daughter swam in the lake, her swimsuit was filthy and she got slivers on her foot. For the price you pay, it should be better.

The cabin was great! Clean and neat. Amy and Matt are wonderful hosts. We always enjoy our trips. Amy even brought up a small lawn chair for our 4yr old G-daughter to use.

we were there from July 1st-4th we rented a deluxe cabin,it was great,my sister in law from Cicago came to visit, we had so much fun we celebrated the he 4thth of July on Sunday the 2nd,the frire works were fantastic, Matt and Amy and staff did a great job truly a great holiday had by all, we will see you next year!!!!!!!!!!!

We had the best time. Our cabin was very nice. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The staff were the best. There was lots of things to do and the fireworks were top notch. We would definitely recommend the Waterlo KOA to anyone looking for a relaxing fun time.

Nice little place. AC was not working on a super hot day. Was fixed and working again by day 2. The floors in the cabin were extremely dirty. I used lots of our paper towels and water to mop the whole thing. By how black the paper towels, our socks, and feet were, this is not being done regularly. Otherwise, the rest of the cabin was clean and people were kind.

Enjoyed our stay here.The staff at the office are very friendly.We rented a cabin and two RV sites.I question why if check out is at 11:00 and check in to the RV sites is 12:00, why early check in isn't allowed if the site is empty-we wanted to get set up as soon as possible to get to the Lost Island Theme Park,but had to wait until noon.Campground host/manager-annoying/unreasonable with fishing!

The campground is nice.Was nice to have the store on-site to pick up items.Pond was gross- filled with moss.Stayed in DK15 was not the cleanest upon arrival. 2/5 beds had sand in them, and the loft area had not been swept.Lots of little spiders in the cabin. BBQ grill is really close to deck. Would be great to have jump pillow or pool on-site for kids to enjoy. No hand soap or paper towels provide

We had a FANTASTIC time. The cabins were gorgeous, the lake was perfect for my 3&4 year old. The food at the KOA was cheap, so we didn't have to worry about bringing other food with us. Having the amusement park and water park right there was just a cherry on top. We plan on coming every year. :D

I have been staying in the same cabin for the past 3-4 years, once a year. We check in for our 2 day stay and we noticed over the course of our stay: bathroom sink clogged, no wifi of working tvs, no batteries in smoke detector or CO2 detector, fire extinguisher has been used, ceiling fan and lights not working in living room. We got a $50 refund but will never be returning unfortunately

First of all the cabin was absolutely filthy. This is the 4th cabin my husband and I stayed at and have loved them all...until yours. There were light bulbs burned out throughout cabin. No towels, paper towels, K, half a roll of tp (2 people for 3 nights). No dish soap, no grilling utensils. We wanted to ride water bikes and paddle boats both were broken. I have more but have run out of space.

The cabin mattresses felt like prison beds, particularly the queen bed which had a giant dent in the center of it. Nobody warned us that the theme park and water park would be closed. We were put in the furthest cabin away from everything, yet it constantly reeked of pot. A staff member accused us of stealing her dinnerly package. Never again.

We rented 3 cabins, we have stayed there for 5 years in a row. Cabins are definitely going down hill. There was no working smoke alarm in cabin DK9 (sleeps 8 people), the floors were filthy, the beach was covered in goose poop, the attendant said someone cleaned the beaches twice weekly- you would have thought would have been on weekend but no. I cleaned up the poop myself. $25.00 towel exchang

For the price I paid per night, I expected the cabin to be clean. The yellow door was black from dirt/grime. The floor was very dirty. Mold growing in both air conditioners, worse on the kitchen air conditioner. Most all surfaces were covered in a layer of dirt. The ceiling fan looks as though its never been cleaned. Blinds were filthy. I cleaned for hours. Cabin DK3 is FILTHY!!!!

We usually stay every year, this year the park looked extremely dingy. The grass wasn't mowed, the beach looks terrible. Our large bed was so worn, we went to the middle. TV's didn't work. We were in a group, we were not together as requested. Other guests were told they didn't have cabins available on certain dates and they were. Just very disappointed this year.

Stayed at RV site towards the front. Nice level site. Site by hill aren't leveled/cut down. Slant down with hill. Saw gas or diesel pumps on site.

Very well maintained and attractive facility. Close to attractions, entertainment, groceries, and the highway. Over all pretty quiet, some occasional road noise. Sites are level and relatively spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but not bothersome. Price is a bit higher than other areas nearby. Overall I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again.
