Friendly and helpful staff. Shower house is clean and well maintained. We were participating in a birding festival at Maumee Bay State Park and points east, however, so this KOA is a little too far away to be practical.

It was a great place to stay to visit Magee Marsh and ONWR. There was more space than is usual for a KOA and there were more trees than I expected but some of the amenities were a little tired. Would stay here again.

Very pretty and quiet campground. Facilities clean and in perfect working order. Helpful and pleasant owners and staff. Within easy driving distance of shopping, dining and attractions. Would recommend highly.

Men’s larger handicap shower has half of the water drain out to the outside floor. Magnets on corners could prevent the strong current from forcing the curtain pushing out.

It was off season so a lot of the extras we not available for use. The pool is permanently closed. It was a nice setting but the train tracks are very close by and are used regularly. It is conveniently located (a short drive) to a shopping area with lots of choices for eating out.

We've been coming to this KOA for approximately 15 years, the hosts have always been very friendly and quick to respond to any concerns we may have had.

Clerk checked us in for site 503. questioned why we got a fancier site than 1 week prior. She said we were upgraded & got sewage. Questioned price. Said only 4$ more. We went to site - set up. Looked at receipt. same price as week ago in 103. Name on map wasn’t ours. clerk took full responsibility. had to set up Iin 104. Soggy mess. Place looks like itinerant workers camp. Junky campers on site

Rest rooms needed to updated to be ADA complying. Pool needs to be open during prime season. Mini golf needs to be torn out . 5 holes is stupid.

Very caring and understanding. We had to request a late check out because of a family issue and the staff showed that they were very concerned and went out of the way to make sure all went well.

It’s great that this location is open year round. We are snowbirds and when traveling in the fall and early spring many campgrounds are closed. It’s in a quiet area but close to restaurants and gas station. We will definitely make it our stop.

The owners were responsive to addressing a problem with the water pressure. They identified and corrected the problem within hours. Well done.

We were there for de-winterizing and shake-down for the up-coming season. Everything went well. The only downside was that the large rig next to us had a very noisy furnace (deep rumbling sound) that turned on and off all night, making it difficult to sleep. We didn't notice any of the other rigs doing this.

well the staff is friendly and eager to help, restrooms are clean and decent, Now the bad. Pools closed ? Being an older campground a ton of work is needed for newer large rigs ! Lots of muddy sites that flood quickly ! and instead of removing some of the smaller trees and improving their driveway they place huge rocks that cannot be seen from an RV or at night ! causing damage to your unit !

Park was clean. Gravel sites relatively level. This is a rural site with lots of wildlife and puddles from the rain. The only reason for not providing 5 stars was the reception we received upon arrival. The young woman at the desk could benefit from some supervision and customer service training; she was more interested in her personal cell phone call than serving the clientele.

Bathrooms were impeccable! The effort to keep them spotless is much appreciated. When we had a waterline issue, management was very helpful, patient and understanding with us. We appreciate all that you are doing. It was a wonderful experience.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this campground based on the reviews but it was amazing!! All the staff we interacted with were over the top friendly. We tent camped during a rainy weekend, and our campsite was muddy, but they have raised platforms on each site to help keep you dry. We camped with 4 adults and 2 little kids and everyone had a great time. Bathrooms were clean and easy to walk to from basically anywhere in the campground. The store had all the essentials, plus a couple fun extras for the kids like gem mining and mini golf. It's a nice quiet location and yet there's plenty to do within a 20 minute drive. I think this will be our Memorial Day Weekend go-to from now on. Thanks Stony Ridge KOA! We had a great time even with the bad weather!
