Was ok once we got there but was not informed of the road closures and detour took us forever to find the campground and NO signage on detour route as to where the KOA was

This wasn’t a bad campground but was disappointing. It is off the beaten path and somewhat small. It needs a lot of love and maintenance. Truckloads of gravel would help with muddy roads and site pads. The bathroom/showers need major renovation (like changing the direction of the shower to keep water in the shower. Staff were friendly though seemed to be complacent and worn out.

It was fine for us, we were just passing through the area. But if I had kids or expected the pool as pictured I would have been disappointed.

Cedric and Erika were great. Site was nice and long. Water spigots need help. Nice dog areas. Spread some of that rock pile around to help with the rain. Doesn’t look like the pool will be opening anytime soon. Fix your product prices on the floor to match ring up. Would stay again.

Loved this campground. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Well maintained grounds and bathhouse. Missed the pool not being open, but didn't detract from our stay.

Easy on and off from I80. No highway noise at the campground. Occasional train but did not interfere with our stay/sleep. We had a pull through site (502) with FHU. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of hot water for showers. Only a one-night stay so we didn't get to explore the area. Partial shade at the site. Big Rig friendly.

Great location, camp staff was friendly. The bathrooms were clean but, I have to gripe about the showers. What a mess! The heads spray water everywhere getting the floors soaked and your belongings. I understand it’s an old facility but that needs an upgrade. The park itself is nice and quiet but small. Its location was convenient for our needs.

Campgrounds are okay, just stopped overnight while traveling. I did notice the pool had not been opened for the season, which I found a bit odd since it's mid-June.

Made this reservation because we were passing through the area on our way to a destination for a two week vacation. I should have done my research better, and carefully read other reviews. We have stayed at may different kinds of campgrounds in our many travels, but I must say this was by far the worst campground I have ever experienced. Poorly maintained and run down. I do not recommend.

More of a stopover than a destination, but everything was organized and tidy. Our site was a bit narrow. Taff was friendly and waited for us when we arrived later in the evening.

Stayed twice overnight on the way and way back from a trip. Sites are average, not maintained the best. Hookups at most weren’t in a convenient location. Had to unhook and pull forward to drain tanks. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Inviting,privacy,good spacing between sites,clean,grounds well kept and cared for,quiet. Not the first time we have stayed here and it won't be the last. Our corner site had grass and trees, perfect for dogs. Picnic table and fire pit not right next to sewage of next site. Big plus!!!!

We arrived at Stoney Ridge KOA in the afternoon. The campground is well maintained and very easy to get to. We stayed one night, but we would recommend this KOA!

We arrived at 2 PM and were assigned a spot equipped with water and electricity, but it turned out to be flooded and muddy. We went back to change our site and were charged an additional fee for the new location because it included sewer usage, which we didn't need. Fortunately, the camp hosts, who we happened to be camping next to, were friendly and welcoming, checking in on us daily.

Enjoyed the stay. Showers were not the best, but I did get a warm shower every day. They weren’t all working. They sent water into the dressing area. Other than that, no issues.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this campground based on the reviews but it was amazing!! All the staff we interacted with were over the top friendly. We tent camped during a rainy weekend, and our campsite was muddy, but they have raised platforms on each site to help keep you dry. We camped with 4 adults and 2 little kids and everyone had a great time. Bathrooms were clean and easy to walk to from basically anywhere in the campground. The store had all the essentials, plus a couple fun extras for the kids like gem mining and mini golf. It's a nice quiet location and yet there's plenty to do within a 20 minute drive. I think this will be our Memorial Day Weekend go-to from now on. Thanks Stony Ridge KOA! We had a great time even with the bad weather!
