Staff was amazing friendly fun always there when you needed them. Everything was exceptionally clean. Only downfall about this place is no pool or water fun for kids. But location to park, renaissance festival, and nature center are all 5 min away. Would definitely recommend staying again

From what I'm told this campground is fairly new to the KOA family. The hosts and staff were very open and helpful, great to see! Events were scheduled for the grown ups and kids alike and while our stay was pretty short, we did take advantage of the pancake breakfast! Site was kept clean and folks quieted down right at 10pm. This KOA is 7 mins from the Ren Fair in Sterling, NY.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The campground and facilities were well kept and seemed to be recently updated. We participated in some of their planned activities while we were there and had a great time! 5 stars all around!

It was great, the host and hostess are the nicest people I've met so far. I was in tent, they inquired about my well being during thunderstorm. Offered me a cabin if needed. . I found this incredibly gracious.

A last minute stay due to the local state park being full no electric and very hot.... the staff were great helped us out and had a beautiful quiet and cooler spot w patio and full service :) was told it was new this past year and we will be back!!! Thanks for your kindness on a bad day for us you made it spectacular :) Linda and Brian

There were ants everywhere. The playground was in direct sun so couldn't be used. Everything was to hot to touch. There were no Willows and no Lake. People were nice. Lots of dogs barking. Sites to close together.

Great new KOA! My site was perfectly level which I really appreciate after a long drive. Hosts & workers were very busy maintaining the grounds & checking to make sure their guests were having a comfortable stay.

Very friendly staff. Well maintained campground. Playground was very nice and wasn't hot for my small kids to play on as it was mostly wood, especially being 90+ degrees this 4th of July weekend! Thank you!! We're looking forward to being back there soon �

The camp ground was incredible. From the friendly staff to the clean big sites. The site we had (site 10) was the best site in the park. 10 out of 10 would recommend to any and everyone.

Wonderful holiday weekend here. We came as a small group family and had an amazing time camping. Sites are well maintained as well as the facilities. Hosts and staff were very friendly and helpful. Not to far off the beaten path and close enough to attractions in the area. So go enjoy a wonderful camping experience there.

The electric was not keeping up with the amount of campers present. AC units could not keep RVs cool, our neighbors left early because of this. No pool to help keep cool either. My kids were happy with the activities, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Just didn't seem like a KOA, but I know it is a newer one.

Roomy camp sites. The owners and staff are vey friendly & helpful. We had a problem with our power in our camper . A staff member quickly found the problem & fixed it . We had blown fuses & he replaced them at no cost . We tried to pay him for it & he refused . I had fun playing candy bingo too! Even though I didn’t win a bucket of candy. It is convenient to go to the little town of Fair Haven.

We chose this campground because it was close to home, it was a new campground and we wanted to check it out being that it was close to home it fit our plans perfectly. When we arrived our host was sitting in her office ready to give us our paperwork and get us checked in. She is perfect for the job because of her up beat personality.

This was our first time at a KOA and it exceeded our expectations the host Sherstin is phenomenal she is attentive, knowledgeable and extremely sweet. The location is very well maintained and clean and the hot water was amazing better than my home. I truly recommend you staying there and not for just one night maybe 2 or more. It is quiet and peaceful and most importantly clean. Go and enjoy

We stayed at a patio site. If was very clean and maintained. We arrived later in the day and we called the owners and they were right there to lead us to our site. All the staff of the Campground was amazing. They would stop and talk to you and check and make sure things were going ok and if you need anything. If just made it feel so great that the owners take pride in the campground .

The staff is very friendly they always went above what you expected they would stop and chat with you to see if everything was okay a very quiet campground nice size sites bathroom and showers very clean very nice laundry room Sherstin is a awesome host . We will definitely be back there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sterling/Lake Ontario KOA. The facilities were well maintained, the people super friendly, and the location was perfect! We will definitely be back!

Two night stay. Lots of good improvements in progress. Fresh gravel. Helpful staff. Clean restroom. Beautiful trees with a friendly pileated woodpecker. Be aware the roads in are the extreme in hills.

We had a great time! Very peaceful, large and level site. They even took the time to cover our firewood when it was delivered to our site. Owners stopped by to check in on us and we had a nice chat. Can’t wait to stay there again!

We stayed here in October and we're at site 10. It was an absolutely beautiful sight. We were so pleased that when we made the reservation the owner gave us this site. It was absolutely lovely. She was absolutely delightful and kind and cheerful and was always smiling. I can't believe what a difference it makes. When someone is that friendly. She greeted us and she also said goodbye to us when we left. That kind of behavior is so touching and really makes a difference. Because we were there in October there were very few people but are stay was comfortable and appealing. They look like they are doing a lot of work to make the place even better. It is not that big and there are other campgrounds nearby, but we were appreced for 3-day stay to be at this location.

This KOA Holiday is very nice! My family and I went as a party of 3 and we rented a 4 person cabin that had several amenities, including a half bath, microwave, coffee pot, a bunk bed, futon, air conditioner, fire pit, parking spot and a picnic table, just to name a few. The hosts and staff were great, the shop was fun and there are walking trails as well as a rec room and gaming room. An extra perk is how close you are to Lake Ontario (not Lake America) and here you are truly one with nature. When you drive down Juniper hill road the hills and the turns are fun and there's a family with a pickle stand that sells delicious pickles in all kinds of flavors. This place is super kid friendly and has a large playground swings and seesaws and tetherball and provides a safe place to camp and stay. FOR RVs they have a dumping site and all the hookups. Free wifi is also included and has really strong signals. I will rate this amazing gem of a Kampground a solid 5 stars. This is somewhere you can make so many loving memories. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sherstin and April are the most wonderful, caring, understanding, beautiful people we have ever had the joy to enjoy their company. The campground is exquisite. They take great care of the grounds with many new upgrades. They have firewood delivery as well. People on site at all times to handle most needs.
