Our stay was for 3 nights. The staff was amazing! The grounds and facilities were so clean and spacious. We will definitely be back again for a long stay next year.

This is in such a beautiful area. We got to drive to to the Sterling Nature Center right around the corner and help tag monarch butterflies on their migratory journey. We went to Chimney Bluff State Park and saw the most gorgeous scene. The cabin was clean and quite spacious given our family a five. It was a quiet campground with plenty of amenities. Just wish the water tasted better.

A nice campground with large sites and nice amenities. Our grandchildren loved the playground and pavilion. Very nice hosts. The only negative is the water. It was highly chlorinated and didn’t taste well. I believe it is city water.

The Sterling / Lake Ontario KOA was a great place and we really enjoyed the staff and folks we talked with. The only thing we'd really like to see change is the water treatment improved...it was too salty / treated, and I say that having grown up with very sulphur-y water and water softeners my whole life. If they can get that balanced out then a 5-star / 10-out-of-10 will be fitting.

Greetings, I was a bit disappointed. While I understand you guys were scrambling to get everything up to KOA standards before the season opened, and I told you I didn't need any amenities, the site you gave me was not ready. Don't get me wrong, it was a great site, tucked into the trees and large, but it needs a bit of TLC. There is a tire rut through the middle of it. And more.

Mislead when I made the reservation I didn’t get the option to reserve a site #. I called after making the reservation and I was told I had site #50 I confirmed I wanted a site that had a patio pad & up against the woods. When we checked in we were told they would give us #36 which was on a bit of incline made it hard to get in/out of trailer even for my 6’2 husband & NO picnic table provid

We really enjoyed our stay in the couples cabin. It was cozy and comfortable. Although the AC doesn’t seem adequate for the room, we managed. We were there much during the day and the nights didn’t need the AC, having the ceiling fan and oscillating fan was a plus. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom has a “well” smell. Beautiful, peaceful campground with a quiet atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway — can’t wait to return!

Our truck died when we arrived, they helped us tow it to our campsite and they offered any additional help if needed. We had someone come stay a night to help us get parts and they didnt chrge extra. The customer service was PHENOMENAL. Everyone was friendly and ready to help! We will likely be coming back. Bathrooms were clean. Bonus points for wooden playground. Great peaceful casual camping.

The campground is very quiet and our site was fantastic between plenty of shade and space. We choose the campground to be really close to the renaissance festival so it definitely served the purpose. I have to comment on how clean and updated the bathrooms were as well. A pool for the kids would be wonderful for sure as there’s not much else there for them.

Owners were very friendly and helpful. It’s a campground that has a variety of shaded and sunny sites, clean bathrooms/showers a nice playground and activities for families. The Fair Haven state park and Sterling nature center are close by for picnicking and swimming and hiking. I would definitely stay here again.

It is a very nice, well-kept campground. As a holiday though, we expected more amenities like a pool. We love how close it is to the renaissance fair.

The folks were wonderful and very kind. They have just taken ownership last year and are adding improvements and updating things. It was a very quiet campground on a busy weekend in Aug. They were most accommodating and the kids loved the lollypops in the morning and the prizes for the scavenger hunt.

Had a nice time as expected. Loved they had a dog area for our two GSD. Loved the full hook ups so there’s no generators running. The Host was great! Would definitely recommend. Need a fast track way to Lake Ontario though. But I would not let that that rule out staying here. Sean

We stayed here in October and we're at site 10. It was an absolutely beautiful sight. We were so pleased that when we made the reservation the owner gave us this site. It was absolutely lovely. She was absolutely delightful and kind and cheerful and was always smiling. I can't believe what a difference it makes. When someone is that friendly. She greeted us and she also said goodbye to us when we left. That kind of behavior is so touching and really makes a difference. Because we were there in October there were very few people but are stay was comfortable and appealing. They look like they are doing a lot of work to make the place even better. It is not that big and there are other campgrounds nearby, but we were appreced for 3-day stay to be at this location.

This KOA Holiday is very nice! My family and I went as a party of 3 and we rented a 4 person cabin that had several amenities, including a half bath, microwave, coffee pot, a bunk bed, futon, air conditioner, fire pit, parking spot and a picnic table, just to name a few. The hosts and staff were great, the shop was fun and there are walking trails as well as a rec room and gaming room. An extra perk is how close you are to Lake Ontario (not Lake America) and here you are truly one with nature. When you drive down Juniper hill road the hills and the turns are fun and there's a family with a pickle stand that sells delicious pickles in all kinds of flavors. This place is super kid friendly and has a large playground swings and seesaws and tetherball and provides a safe place to camp and stay. FOR RVs they have a dumping site and all the hookups. Free wifi is also included and has really strong signals. I will rate this amazing gem of a Kampground a solid 5 stars. This is somewhere you can make so many loving memories. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sherstin and April are the most wonderful, caring, understanding, beautiful people we have ever had the joy to enjoy their company. The campground is exquisite. They take great care of the grounds with many new upgrades. They have firewood delivery as well. People on site at all times to handle most needs.
