Everything about this campground is amazing except for one issue. We stay in lot 14 and when it rains, you can forget sitting outside your camper under the awning. There is a lake that forms and holds water. There is no place for the water to go. The last two times we’ve camped there, it has been a mess. Most other spots aren’t affected but lot 14 is nearly useless. The groundskeeper is amazin

Good level sites. Secluded quite park. Randy the camp host is always accommodating, puts campers needs first. Great for overnight or extended stay.

The drained lake is kind of sad looking, Wi-Fi signal could be stronger, but would stay again if needing to be in that area.

Worst summer traveling time in centuries! But, the campground is beautiful. The Manager a great stand up guy. Spots have plenty of room. Too bad the government is still playing toss the lake to another agency because if the brilliant idiots have left it alone, this place would have been packed and heaven on earth. We have a chief resident vet at State'sVet School, so we'll be going back.

We only stayed one night. Until this campground gets the Lake back it will not do well. There was nothing to do there. Also we had to find our site on our own. No escort.

Randy was absolutely fantastic! Very friendly and took care of all our needs, including moving us to a shady spot when it got too hot in the sun. It'll be great when the county finally gives them their lake back so they can continue the awesome water park that used to be.

disappointments: No water in the lake… on which we did hope to kayak. “Currently Closed” doesn’t even start to describe the lake that has been drained since 2015 ( we were told). The grass around our site was too tall to even use the picnic table…. It was easy to check in, late. The map made it easy to find our spot. The staff was very friendly and made it clear to just ask if we needed something. This is our second time staying here. We had stayed here one year ago. Special note. The lake is still drained (7-16-2023) but it sounds like it might be refilled in the next year or two. I sure hope so. All and all, still a great place to stay!

Only one night stay. Site was good. Bathrooms and showers clean. Good thing we were not expecting to use the lake. It was dry.

It is so unfortunate that the lake fronting this campground has turned into a muddy marsh and giving the whole area a gloomy appearance. Since the park has no swimming pool, a rundown playground, no fishing or other attractive amnienties it no longer rates the "Holiday" branding.

Randy is great. He was very accommodating and welcoming. We had an issue with the water line (it broke off when we turned it on) and he had the repai guys there fast and got it taken care of.

The campground host was very nice. Gave us recommendations for restaurants in area and brought us firewood. Hopefully lake will be filled soon and the campground would be even better.

Love the area, the sites are sunny or shaded and the premier sites are the ones to grab. Regrettably the “lake” is in the process of being drained and dried. Apparently this process has been an ongoing issue and facing multiple delays. That said, they do the best one can expect considering the circumstances. We will stay again

Been here 4 times now. Love the setting among the trees! Update 6th stay: Nice cozy clean cabins & beautiful grounds & roses! Quiet location in rural Mississippi.
