We have stayed here many times, the campground and bathrooms are always neat and clean. Most campsites are shady with fire rings and free firewood! Randy is the main caretaker and is always top notch. We would definitely recommend camping here.

A good overnight site. The campground roads need some grading and new gravel. Beautiful lake and very quiet setting for a good night’s rest. We didn’t use any facilities.

This KOA is one of our favorites to stay at when we are in the area. Randy, the camp manager, is always very professional, friendly, and helpful. Due to a family medical situation we had to extend our stay to assist a family member after surgery. Randy was able to continue our stay. This is a quiet well maintained campground, bathrooms and showers are always clean, and laundry area is also clean.

It wouldn’t take much to make this KOA a 5 star, but as it is, it’s just mediocre. The office building is nice, but everything else needs some TLC. Wasn’t able to use the bathroom as we weren’t given the code to get in and the office was closed. Site was level. RV Life app took us through back roads to get there, don’t rely on those directions! Use County Lake Road.

Couples Cabin was good for a short stay. Commode needs some attention and bedside lamp needs a new shade. Other than that, all was good. Randy was very helpful and nice.

We have a student at Mississippi State. Easy access to the school and clean facilities. The manager checked on us and was very kind and hard working. Thanks!

We had great time here. Randy, the camp host, was incredibly helpful and always reachable. The campsites, restroom and showers were very clean throughout our stay. My husband was a bit disappointed with the fishing situation, but that was due to county and not the fault of the campground. If you get to stay there visit the MAFES store on the campus of MSU. �

The water park has been shut down due to regulations requiring the lake to be at a much lower level until the levee and dam are fixed. That doesn't take away from the park itself. It is quiet with nice sites, fire pit and picnic tables. Laundry and showers are clean and well kept. The campground host is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet! It is a perfect stop for a night or week!

Wifi and a lake were advertised but when we got down there the lake was closed off and you couldn’t connect to the wifi unless you were a foot away from the router

Dirty showers with bugs and spiders everywhere, office/store wasn't open at the hours listed, grounds weren't kept very well, WiFi nonexistent. Only real positive was the bald eagle we saw.

Nice place on a lake. Hope they fix the lake so it doesn’t go away. Apparently there is federal funding approved so the lake would remain year round but no progress yet.

Starkville KOA is our home base for visiting family, we love the facility because of its rural nature wooded areas and particularly because of Randy Wells the manager! Our minimum stay is usually five to seven days. We have had to wait on parts for our rig on wonder visit and that was a good location for working on the motorhome. We have a diesel pusher and a tow vehicle the pull through spots

We have stayed there several times and always enjoy it! Clean, nice cabins that are close to town where our daughter lives. Randy is always accommodating and helpful!

Might be the cleanest bathhouse I’ve ever seen. Easy to get around the campground which was nice since I checked in after hours. The leafy clear instructions on the map the left for me. I was tent caping and despite heavy rains in the area I’ve previous days, my sure was dry.

The manager was SUPER accommodating. We got confused and thought we had reservation but we did not (our fault). Manager opened office hours early to help us and got us a great site at a great price. We had a great stay and wished we had more time to stay longer. Definitely will return. BUT- grounds need some attention. Old RV mattress laying at the back of the park made it look like landfill.

One of our favorite campgrounds. It is also a "home" base for us while on our travels. Randy is the camp host and is always helpful, friendly and professional. Big rig friendly, level concrete and gravel sites. Wifi is a little slow. Showers and bathroom are always clean.

Campground wasn’t great site which we were assigned to had numerous work cones in front seemed odd when there were so many other sites available ! No amenities . The only positive thing was the host Randy very friendly and professional .

Starkville is a very nice, quiet, clean campground that we enjoyed. The owner is friendly and very accommodating. We were disappointed that propane was not available and that is the reason for my 4 rating. All in all, we would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed here 4 or 5 times now, although all overnights for our travels to and from. But, it's a great park. We always get a concrete site with a patio. There are many, many places to walk and exercise our large dog and for this, we and the dog are grateful!

Been here 4 times now. Love the setting among the trees! Update 6th stay: Nice cozy clean cabins & beautiful grounds & roses! Quiet location in rural Mississippi.
