Couldn’t have had a better experience! The campground was nice and quiet. Very open for our kids to play and had a dog park as well. The bathrooms were so clean and smelled nice. The showers were excellent- clean and great water pressure. The trash was taken out daily in the laundry room. The staff was over the top nice!! Absolute best customer service hands down of anywhere we have ever camped!

The campground manager, Randy, is a responsive, fantastic host! He greeted us upon arrival although we arrived later than expected. He showed us right to our campsite. He even helped us make future reservation arrangements. Too, as this was the first time camping with our newly purchased camper, Randy went out of his way to provide camper tips and demonstrated how to flush gray and brown H20.

Wonderfull park! Easy to navigate, at least to/from site 3. The manager is considerate and welcoming, and will make your stay a great memory! Highly recommended and appreciated.

Randy went over and above to accommodate us after we realized an issue with our motorhome. Park is extremely clean and well kept. Highly recommend

Randy the manager is awesome. Lake is drained so the water park, boat ramp & lakeside picnic tables are closed. Pull thru sites have no shade but back in sites have plenty of shade. Park is clean/well maintained. Even though the laundry is clean, very disappointed there are only 2 washers and 2 dryers. Quiet park.

I had a great stay! The campground was very peaceful and the facilities were very clean. Randy was so kind and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Great place for a night or two but any more is not worth it. Nothing to do in the area, everything is quite a drive. Unfortunately, due to no fault of the owners the lake is pretty much dried up due to local politics fighting over dam repair. Maintenance doesn’t seem to be getting done either. Randy is great and bathhouse is clean.

I realize that this campground has issues with the lake that it is located on and knew this before we stayed there but they need to do a little more upkeep in the park such as mowing the grass and general cleanup around the park

Randy was awesome. Aided us with an extension cord to get power to our tents. He even delivered wood for free. This is our second visit here and both times have been university expectations.

Very nice and friendly staff. Sites were a little rundown looking. Cracks in pavement, needed a little weed eating. No picnic table at our site. Looked like maybe some other site had borrowed it.

It was a very pleasant stay. The people running the campground was very helpful and extremely nice. I would recommend this campground to everyone. I will be staying there again in the future.

We were there for our Granddaughter’s graduation from MSU. Our stay was very enjoyable. Everything from the reservation process, to the check-in process, to occupying our site was flawless. We really enjoyed our stay there. With the lake drying up, this KOA needs a pool. A second dog park down by the 4 kamping kabins would also be a big improvement. I rate this as a great KOA. Very accommodating, we had plenty of shade since it was in the upper 80’s. Places to take your dogs. Clean showers and laundry. And Randy the manager answered all our questions and was more than helpful!

This is a good one night stop. Campgrounds need some work. No fault to KOA but the lake is drying up and no pool or any type of entertainment. Website needs to be updated and truthful.

Nice area and staff, but unexpectedly, the WiFi was awful. Sadly, since we have Verizon and Verizon is weak there, we needed to use the WiFi. Apparently 0.4Mbps is sufficient for KOA standards.

Bath house and restrooms were very clean. Got into town early and Randy did not hesitate to get me checked in. I was in a tent site and Randy gave updates on potential weather conditions for the night. Looking forward to our next stay at Starkville KOA.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Asked several times if we needed anything. Campground was neat and quiet. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Plenty of hot water!

Beautiful campground. Lots of trees. We stayed in a pull through site with a concrete pad and it was perfect! This was our 4th time staying here on our way home from Florida. Would definitely recommend. Not a lot to do but great for a day or two

Didn't live up to the standards of a KOA, but the only place to stay in Starkville. Really no lake anymore and was not crazy about "neighbors" flying a "gay pride-Be Kind" flag. I'm sure if I had flown a confederate flag, I would have been asked to take it down.

Nice, quiet rv park. Park manager Randy is very accommodating, friendy. Big rig friendly up to 70 ft.

The reservation process was simple thanks to Randy, the manager on site! He made himself available if needed at all and checked out as several times throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. And that it was! The deluxe cabins were clean, cozy and well equipped with everything we needed! The firewood on site allowed us to build campfires each night, and have s'mores and make memories with our grands and children! The campground was quiet, clean, and well-maintained! We will definitely be back as soon as we can get there
