Beautiful place, peaceful and well maintained. Camp host were very nice and professional. Bathrooms are well maintained. All and all great stay

Our stay in cabin 5 was nice. There were many lethargic wasps inside the screened-in porch. I killed 20 or so of the bugs with a thoughtfully provided fly swatter. A couple more crawled in from the floorboards or edges of the porch. I assume this may be a chronic issue that is partially remedied by possible use of insecticide or an electronic device. Further controls may be needed.

Staff is excellent and the park has potential due to its location. It has serious infrastructure problems. Drainage is outdated or non existent. The method used depends on absorption not planned runoff. Standing water surrounds many of the site pads. Our pad was surrounded on 3 sides by 2 inches of standing water. I could not unplug from shore power without standing in water. Photos available.

We only stopped over for one night on our way to Florida...we had no issues and the concrete pad made setup and leveling fast and easy.

Randy was very gracious and helpful. In spite of the cold weather we experienced, the cabin was warm and inviting. We will come here again when our travels include Mississippi!

It's too bad the lake is dry, closing the Waterpark. I realize it's not the parks fault but it turns the park into a stopover instead of a destination.

We loved our stay at Starkville KOA. The nicest cabins we’ve ever stayed in at a KOA. We especially loved the little coffee bar. A nice, quiet place to spend the night and Randy was super nice.

We just stopped for an overnight on our way home but it looks like a great place to stay for few days. Hoping your water level comes up for the summer!!

The manager was friendly and helpful. My site was a concrete slab and very level. However, the grounds in general could stand some maintenance!

The campground was dirty! There was litter and winter debris all over the place. Cement slabs were small, my 35 Class A barely fit. The hookups were in mud! Could have easily been surrounded with gravel. Grass growing in the gravel, where there wasn’t mud! The Manager was very friendly, welcoming etc, but it was probably the untidiest KOA I’ve ever stayed in. No sign of a clean up crew!

Randy the manager was great. This location is more aligned with a Summer destination due to the activities rather than January/winter. Not much near the camp but lots of restaurants about 10+ miles away. Randy provided an extensive list of places to eat.

It's a nice park but it needs to be updated the sites are muddy and the entrance drive needs to have holes filled in.

We went from being impressed when making reservations and seeing the brochure to being depressed/oppressed upon our arrival! (No reflection on the personnel at check-in) The place where a serene fishing lake was recorded to be...was dry and overgrown with trees! Unfortunately, my fishing tackle got a break!

Campground staff very courteous and helpful. Perfect directions to site. Entry into sites for big rigs (45' toyhauler) is a little tight, most sites are paved, utilities are located at the rear of the site, requiring longer hoses and power cord for connection to utilities. We will return whenever we visit family in Starkville.

It was quiet and very rpeaceful. What a shame that the beautiful lake is not being cared for by the county. It would be a great asset to this campground any season of the year.

This is a beautiful place to stay when in the Starkville area. We have stayed at many KOA’s and the staff here is the best by far!

My Family and I stayed at the Starkville KOA during the 2022 Football season for all the home games. We had an excellent time and experience during our time. The campground is close enough to be at the stadium in just a few min but yet far enough to be able to enjoy the camping atmosphere. The staff was amazing to work with all facilities were highly maintained and clean.

Been here 4 times now. Love the setting among the trees! Update 6th stay: Nice cozy clean cabins & beautiful grounds & roses! Quiet location in rural Mississippi.
